INDEPENDENT CONSERVATIVE VOICE OF
UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA

While our country is playing Father-may-I with President Obama, Pakistan is like dynamite ready to explode.  Pakistan has become a very urgent national security issue for our country.  The Pakistani government under the leadership of Asif Ali Zardari is trying to seek peace with the Taliban through appeasement.  The Taliban sees appeasement as weakness that it will gladly exploit to promote its evil rule.  The Taliban is making tremendous inroads into Pakistan and is exerting its influence on the government.  Already the Zardari government has capitulated the Swat valley only one hundred miles from the capital of Islamabad to the Taliban in return for peace.  The Taliban agreed to this peace accord and then violated its terms and launched another attack against the district of Buner only sixty miles from Islamabad.

Evil cannot be appeased; it must be defeated.  The ultimate goal of the Taliban is to topple the Pakistani government and then extend Islamic rule throughout Pakistan.  This has become a very dangerous situation because of the nuclear capabilities of Pakistan.  At this time, Pakistan has about sixty nuclear warheads.  Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal is not located in one area, but its nuclear arms are located throughout the country.  This gives the Taliban several opportunities to try to seize nuclear weapons and then take control of Pakistan.  The dynamics of the world’s nuclear power balance will greatly change under this equation of the Taliban possessing nuclear weapons.  Terrorism will take on a new face if the Taliban does acquire nuclear weapons and is able to threaten the world with its Islamic fascism.  The time for the United States to act is now, not later, in stopping the Taliban in Pakistan from gaining nuclear weapons.  Using diplomacy with the Taliban is like water running off a duck’s back.  The only thing that the Taliban respects is force.

Pakistan must come to the realization that it needs the United States’ expertise and military force to destroy and drive the Taliban out of its borders.  As the Taliban continues its march toward the capital city of Islamabad, it will make many more disciples to join its ranks.  Time is running out for the Zardari government to retake the country and stop the Taliban without great loss of life.  A senior Pakistani official recently said, “What we are sure of is that there is no likelihood of nuclear weapons falling into the hands of terrorists or extremists.”  And yet the Pakistani Army has lost several battles against the Taliban forces in their quest for Islamic control of Pakistan.

The successes of the Taliban in Pakistan only encourage the Taliban in Afghanistan to keep fighting to regain control of that country.  There must be simultaneous major assaults against the Taliban in both Pakistan and Afghanistan by Pakistan, the United States, and other allies.  The Zardari government must stop worrying about the Islamic extremists in Pakistan and their opposition to bringing foreign troops to help defeat the spread of Islamic fascism and to stop the fall of that country to the Taliban.  There is too much at stake for the international community to allow the Taliban victory in Pakistan.  Pakistan cannot befriend evil (the Taliban) without being consumed by that very source of evil.

The Zardari government recently made another great mistake by releasing the Islamic extremist cleric that led the militants in the Red Mosque in armed rebellion against the Pakistani government.  The cleric should have remained in custody as a warning to the Taliban that the Pakistani government will not tolerate lawlessness within the borders of Pakistan.  There must be respect for law and order or Pakistan will become the next terrorist haven.  There are Taliban Islamic sympathizers in the Zardari government who are making their case for appeasement for the Islamic devils.

India is another nuclear-armed country that is infested with terrorist cells that are operating within its borders.  This situation presents another opportunity for terrorists to get control of nuclear weapons to carry out their devilish Islamic deeds.

Iran is the proud state sponsor of terrorism.  Iranian mad man Mahmoud Ahmadinejad brags about his desire to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.  There is not anyone in the World who believes that Iran only wants to produce nuclear power for its energy needs.  Iran is much further along in producing a nuclear weapon than what the American public is being told through the news media.  Once Islamic mad man Ahmadinejad and Iran have the ability to launch a nuclear attack against Israel, it will do so at its first convenient opportunity.  It would behoove Israel to strike first and hard against Iran’s nuclear sites and render them completely unusable.  Israel must not allow itself to be deterred by America or any other country in defending itself against Islamic fascism.

President Barack Hussein Obama’s mentality of hope so, maybe so, if so about Iran and its terrorist buddies isn’t getting the job done.  Obama wants to sit across the table drinking tea with Islamic mad man Ahmadinejad while he plans to make Israel the target for his first atomic warhead.  President Obama and his socialist comrades on Capitol Hill believe that they are going to change the world by making all the socialist and communist dictators feel welcome at the parley table.  The problem with this philosophy is that while America is sitting at the parley table playing powder puff, some country as Iran or other terrorist group may push the nuclear button.  History recalls this happening with the Japanese delegation.  As they were sitting at the negotiating table with our representatives, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor during World War II.  Someone once said, “If you don’t learn from history, history may repeat itself.”

The Bible says in II Corinthians 6:14-18, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?  15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?  16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,  18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”
