Silencing The Voice Of Opposition
- By W.H. Lamb
“Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear.” - President Harry S. Truman (1884-1972), Special Message to the Congress on the Internal Security of the United States, August 8, 1950.
Far be it for me to quote, in agreement, from a Democrat president, but I must admit that old Harry Truman was 100% correct in both his historical accuracy and in his remarkable prescience in regards to the well known propensities of “governments” to morph over some period of time from the “faithful servant” into the “fearful master”, mainly because the citizens of those governments were lulled into complacency by those old ‘siren songs’: “Let the Government Do It”, or “The Government Will Take Care Of You”. Uh huh. Sure it will.
New Congressional Scorecards for South Carolina!
- By The John Birch Society
The Freedom Index has just released the new scorecards for Congress (CLICK HERE TO VIEW THEM).
Without much surprise, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham scored a failing 33% while U.S. Representative Ralph Norman was the only one that scored 100%. Norman was the only U.S. Representative that voted against the expansion of NATO which goes to show all of the others are neoconservatives (WATCH THE VIDEO NEOCONSERVATIVES: CHANGING AMERICAN POLITICS).
Sadly, Wilson, Timmons, Mace, and Clyburn all voted for federal police grants that threaten the independence of our local police (CLICK HERE TO VIEW OUR SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL POLICE PAGE).
Idaho Residents Fight Back Against Sex Confusion Policies Proposed by School Board
- By Church United
Residents are Organizing to Ensure the School Board Doesn't Mute the Mic to Silence the Majority Descent
CALDWELL, Idaho -- The Caldwell School District Board introduced new transgender and LGBT policy 3281 during the January 9th, 2023, school board meeting. Over 1,000 concerned Idahoans packed the 50-seat school board meeting room, while the remaining parents and grandparents filled overflow rooms spilling into the halls, sidewalks, and parking lot in freezing temperatures. These policies would allow biological boys to go into girls' restrooms and locker rooms and prevent teachers from warning parents that their child is dealing with sex confusion issues.

Brandi Swindell, Founder and CEO of Stanton Public Policy Center/Purple Sash Revolution, states;
- "Rihanna's energetic Super Bowl halftime show is a powerful example that pregnant women can do anything, and pregnancy doesn't prevent women from fulfilling their dreams. Also, how cool is it to have a pre-born baby staring in a Super Bowl halftime show."
Based in Washington, D.C., Stanton Public Policy Center/Purple Sash Revolution is a women's advocacy and educational group that works on issues of human rights and justice which empower and inspire women. It is affiliated with Stanton Healthcare which has life-affirming women's health clinics in America and internationally.

Minnesota, Birth of a Revolution
- By Catching Fire News
The Communist Party found its rebirth in 2023 within the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (“DFL”). With its complete control of both houses and governorship, the stage is set for an all-out attack on our liberties.
Minnesota is the birthplace of communist Gus Hall and the progressive Senator Paul Wellstone. As Democrats advance their socialist agenda with lightening speed, they trample over Constitutional law, push through driver’s licenses for illegals, and green light late-term abortions up through the third trimester.

Assessing U.S.-China Relations in the Aftermath of the Spy Balloon
- By Josh Hammer
The utterly humiliating saga of a high-altitude Chinese surveillance "balloon" successfully traversing the entire North American continent, only to be shot down off the South Carolina coast after completing its intelligence-gathering voyage, ought to serve as a wake-up call for America's decadent ruling class. At Newsweek, Paul du Quenoy sagely compared the affair to the young West German pilot Mathias Rust's successful 1987 landing of his small Cessna just outside Moscow's Red Square, a similarly "irreparable blight" wherein a "sclerotic empire's air defense systems stood powerless at the sight of an airborne foreign intruder."
'Zombie Studies': DeSantis Declares All-Out War on University DEI, CRT in Education Manifesto
- By Joshua Arnold - The Washington Stand
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) last Tuesday rolled out a new education agenda designed to comprehensively recapture the state’s higher education system from woke ideologues. Instead, he set forth a conservative vision for a higher education system: “to focus on promoting academic excellence, the pursuit of truth, and to give students the foundation so they can think for themselves.” The proposals affect curriculum, faculty, funding, and more.
Proposed Reforms
DeSantis proposed reforms to Florida curriculum so that “everybody who goes through a Florida university has to take certain core course requirements that’s really focused on giving them the foundation so that they can think for themselves.” There is that phrase again — “think for themselves.” This is the essence of DeSantis’ proposals, and leftists work hard to smear it because they understand how popular that objective is.
Sweeping Transparency Reforms Proposed In House Bill
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Citizens would have far easier access to state and local government records and meetings in South Carolina under a wide-ranging S.C. House bill introduced Thursday.
The legislation was based largely on transparency recommendations released in December by the South Carolina Policy Council – The Nerve’s parent organization, said the bill’s sponsor, Rep. Rob Harris, R-Spartanburg.
“I had been gnawing on this idea and when I read it (the Policy Council’s proposals), I said, ‘There’s the kind of basic framework, the skeleton, of what needs to be done,’ and I just ran with it and got some other help,” Harris told The Nerve in an interview Thursday afternoon.
Slanderous State of the Union

Biden’s State of the Union Falsehoods
GAGE SKIDMORE/FLICKR/CROPPED/CC BY 2.0
As is an annual tradition, President Biden gave the State of the Union address. We all knew there would be too many eye rolls to count during his speech, but he raised not a few eyebrows with the blatant untruths he delivered from the House floor. Even the New York Times had to correct the record. If you didn’t make it through the entire hour-and-a-half spectacle, we don’t blame you. Here are the highlights.
Biden spent the first hour speaking about the economy that has been in tatters since he stepped into office. Yet, he somehow tooted his own horn on job growth. He stated:
I actually created, with the help of many people in this room, 12 million new jobs. More jobs created in two years than any president has created in four years. Because of you.
You Can Stop the Radical Gender Agenda
- By Eagle Forum
Since the federal government gained control of public schooling, they have been slowly but surely pushing parents out of many of the most fundamental decisions regarding their children. When children sit down at their desks, they no longer focus on reading, math, history, or science. They are instead bombarded with a political agenda that makes them confused about who they are and what it means to be male and female. It’s up to us to stop this nonsense.
Eagle Forum has joined the Title IX Network comprised of over 200 organizations to oppose this agenda and take action to protect our children. During their six-week Stop the Radical Gender Agenda campaign, we want to highlight one of the many ways that proponents of gender ideology attack: through weakening parental rights.

Here's Why Spending Fights Are Getting More Frequent
- By Veronique de Rugy
People are uneasy about the debt ceiling fight. Many think it's unhealthy and a sign of poor fiscal management, and they are right. However, they should get used to it. These budget fights will keep getting more frequent and more intense. That's because no one wants to talk about budget restraints. The truth is that existing spending commitments are rapidly shrinking the share of the budget that politicians have control over as their appetite for spending expands.
Those who believe that government is the answer to all problems are always full of ideas about new programs to be funded. They want to prepare for the next pandemic or emergency by funding new government capabilities. They want government to engineer an energy revolution while simultaneously paying off all outstanding student loans as well as all future enrollments. They also want the government to relieve parents of the financial burden of raising children, while expanding the military and funding every project on the books.

Senator Plans Bill to Ban ESG Factors in Private Loans, State Pension
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
A state senator says he plans to again push legislation that would help protect borrowers from being denied credit because they don’t hold liberal “environmental, social and governance” views.
In an interview Monday with The Nerve, Sen. Josh Kimbrell, R-Spartanburg, who co-sponsored a similar bill last year with Sen. Sean Bennett, R-Dorchester, said he also would like a new bill to ban ESG factors from being considered in the state pension plan.
“It certainly is a priority of mine to see some movement on this,” said Kimbrell, who previously worked for years as a commercial banker. “I’m hopeful we can do something soon.”
Science by Judicial Decree
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
If you go to any public school or university, you will find The Big Bang to man evolutionary view of origins it's the only view that you will hear. Efforts to include Biblical creation or even simply the possibility of an intelligent designer have not been just met with criticism in various forms of personal attacks, but actual lawsuits. this has been part of an overall attempt to remove God completely from the schools and from public life. However, this is not how science is supposed to work. Real science allows for the options to be discussed; these lawsuits are effectively science by judicial decree.

Jefferson's Constitutional Metaphor
- By Jim S. Brooks - Roebuck, SC
The metaphorical phrase articulated by Thomas Jefferson and received by posterity as a “…a wall of separation between church and state” never even existed in this country in the years between the founding of the first English settlement at James Town, Virginia in 1607 and the year 1802-the year Jefferson framed it. Jefferson, when President, “coined” the imaginative metaphorical phrase in a letter to a Christian Denominational Church (Baptist) in 1802-and that period of time spanned a total of nearly two hundred (200) years. It is simply a metaphor illustrating a jurisdictional issue that existed in the federal government over religion and meant nothing to the formation of our Constitution or Bill of Rights simply because it did not exist in that time span! It simply illustrated the fact that no religious jurisdiction of any type existed in the newly ratified Federal Constitution.

The CCP Owns the Biden Administration
- By Joseph M. Bianchi
Can a balloon demonstrate who really owns the administration in Washington, and by association, American foreign policy?
Apparently, it can.
The recent transit and shoot down of a Chinese spy balloon are more than a metaphor for poor American foreign policy and decision making—it is proof positive that those who currently run our country are bought and paid for by the Chinese Communist Party.
What else can explain the reticence to shoot down a spy vehicle launched by a hostile country that invaded our air space and soared across the US gathering intelligence on some of our most sensitive and important military bases?
Omar Not Just Antisemitic, But Also Anti-American
- By Star Parker
The Republican-controlled House has voted to boot Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., off the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
I salute Republicans for leadership, beneficial for the country and beneficial for Black Americans whose interests Omar pretends to represent.
Omar pushed back from the House floor, playing, of course, the race card. She accused Republicans of questioning her as an American because she is of a "certain skin color."

End the COVID-19 'Emergency' -- Now
- By Stephen Moore
Almost every decision that has been made in Washington and in the states that deals with COVID-19 has been about politics and money, hundreds of billions of dollars, and not about public health.
COVID-19 is a deadly virus that has killed over a million Americans -- almost all over the age of 65. But from day one, the overreaction and misinformation from politicians and the public health industrial complex was a campaign to embarrass and discredit then-President Donald Trump. It became an excuse to get Trump out of office.
Use this Strategy to STOP Federal Land Grabs & Mismanagement
- By Press Release
The ultimate objective is to get people off the land and herded into big cities where they can be surveilled and controlled 24/7. The propaganda scams to get people to go along with this insanity are known by many names: NAFTA superhighway, 30×30 and ReWilding are just a few.
There is a successful strategy though that has been employed across the country to protect both Federal and private land from being stolen, abused and mismanaged. It’s called “coordination,” and it’s a game changer.
We the People have the power, now we must learn how to use it.
