Noem's Pro-Trans Ties Spark Protests, 2024 Skepticism
- By Suzanne Bowdey - The Washington Stand
Even the frigid temperatures couldn’t keep angry South Dakotans away. Despite the blistering, nine-degree cold, as many as 150 people gathered in the snow outside the 2023 Midwest Gender Identity Summit in Sioux Falls Friday morning to protest Sanford Health’s unwelcome presence in their state. Standing by snow drifts, with a long convoy of cars heading to join them, organizer Adam Broin insisted, “This is NOT South Dakota!” But according to a bombshell report by NRO reporter Nate Hochman, it may already be South Dakota, thanks to the transgender movement’s unlikely ally: Republican Governor Kristi Noem.
Author Taylor Caldwell—Another Look At “Why The Middle Class Must Not Fail”
- By W.H. Lamb
Last month The Times Examiner published my article entitled: Dear And Glorious Taylor, an in-depth look at one of my favorite authors, the late, great patriot, Taylor Caldwell. In that article I referred to an article that Caldwell wrote back in 1974, titled: “The Middle Class Must Not Fail”. Originally published by The Review of the News on May 29, 1974, it was republished in The New American Magazine on May 1, 1995. The Review of the News was one of the magazines published by The John Birch Society for many years, but was eventually replaced by The New American magazine, also published by The John Birch Society, to which Taylor Caldwell had been a faithful member for many years. It is that insightful and prophetic article, originally published so long ago, that I’d like to share with you now, because it surely applies to today’s events.
The Voice of the Martyrs' 2023 Global Prayer Guide Says Four African Nations Hostile to the Gospel
- By Christian Newswire
BARTLESVILLE, Okla. -- Four more African countries have been added to the list of the world's most dangerous and difficult places to follow Christ.
The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) added and designated Benin, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mozambique and Niger as "hostile" nations in their annual 2023 Global Prayer Guide.
VOM added four African countries to their list of the world's most dangerous and difficult places to follow Christ.

Each approach shapes the Gospel message in different ways, with risks and benefits in every case. From livestreaming to hotspot broadcasting, from peer-to-peer file-sharing to physical distribution, Christians must understand how these systems will impact the communities they serve so they can spread the Gospel in a form and format that advances God's mission.
Can California be Redeemed?
- By Inspire PR Agency
IRVINE, Calif. -- While many people believe California is beyond saving, an inspirational, life-changing and explosive new book by Kathy J. Looper—Redeem California: With God All Things are Possible—is releasing February 7, offering compelling evidence that not only is the Golden State not beyond God's help, but California is poised for revival. California's evangelical population is larger than the population of 38 states, but less than 25 percent vote. What would happen if these believers voted and ran for office?
Restore Sound Money in South Carolina with H.3080 & H.3081
- By The John Birch Society
ACT NOW: Members of the South Carolina General Assembly are seeking to enact legislation helping restore sound money and enforce the U.S. Constitution’s monetary provisions.
House Bill 3080 (H.3080) is sponsored by Representative Stewart Jones and seven other representatives. If enacted, this bill would officially recognize gold and silver coins as legal tender; it states:
To the full extent allowed by Article 1, Section 10, Clause 1 of the Constitution of the United States, gold and silver coins minted foreign or domestic shall be legal tender in the State of South Carolina under the laws of this State.
Additionally, House Bill 3081 (H.3081) has been introduced. Sponsored by Representative Jones and four other representatives, this bill would exempt “gold, silver, platinum bullion, or any combination of this bullion” from capital-gains taxes. H.3081 is an important step toward treating gold and silver as money — as the U.S. Constitution requires.
Get Government Outta My Kitchen
- By Anne Schlafly Cori, Eagle Forum Chairman
After the uproar over a potential ban on gas stoves, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a clarifying announcement that no, they do not plan to ban gas stoves, but they do want voluntary compliance. Already, several communities in California and New York have banned natural gas hookups in new construction, which means no gas stoves – and no gas furnaces or water heaters, either.
Do you think that government bureaucrats are looking out for our best interest or do they just want to control our lifestyle and economic choices? The 2022 Inflation Reduction Act includes $840 rebates for households that switch from gas to electric, so bureaucrats have already decided that electric is better than gas.
Biden's ESG Investment Rules Threaten Your Retirement Savings
- By Stephen Moore
President Joe Biden's Labor Department recently announced a new rule that will permit money managers to play politics with trillions of dollars of people's retirement savings.
The administration is pushing environmental, social and governance investing, which allows retirement fund managers to select stocks of companies based on their positions on social and environmental issues.
Put simply, retirement savings will be used as leverage to force companies to reduce their carbon emissions and establish racial and gender quotas and other social justice fads completely unrelated to securing a high return on workers' lifetime savings.
Court of Appeals Reinstates Fulton Counterfeit Ballot Case After GA Supreme Court Confirms Petitioners Have Standing
- By VoterGA
ATLANTA -- On Monday, the Georgia Court of Appeals reinstated VoterGA's Fulton County counterfeit ballot case without further briefs setting up a reversal of its previous lack of standing ruling against the Petitioners. The reversal comes as no surprise to the Petitioners who, for over a year, maintained they have standing, even after the Georgia Court of Appeals upheld the lower court finding on July 1, 2022.
On December 20, 2022, the Georgia Supreme Court overturned both lower court rulings. Their decision was made unanimously without a hearing. It corroborated over a dozen state and U.S. Supreme Court precedents in Petitioners' briefs and appeal that the lower courts ignored. The decision was reached after VoterGA attorney Todd Harding filed a motion to expedite the VoterGA writ of certiorari and the Defendants responded. Co-attorney Paul Kunst then explained how Defendant Attorneys mislead the Supreme Court in claiming the court's recent decision on other standing claims had nothing to do with VoterGA Petitioners standing claims.

It's Time to Turn the Marxist's Weapons Back on Them
Many of the brightest minds have been trying to find the tools to stop Agenda21/Great Reset (and all the other aliases for setting up a one-world government). The authors of Re-Remembering the Mis-Remembered Left: The Left’s Strategy and Tactics to Transform America, state at the end: “It is the conclusion of this analysis that current opposition to the Left, from mainstream and conservatives alike, is not just out of position to be able to mount a strategic response. It is precisely in the position the Left placed it in order to play the role scripted for it.” [1]
Christian Revelation and the Advent of True Philosophy
- By Winston McCuen
Theology is the application of reason to theological data, the data of revelation. Philosophy is inquiry into the nature of ultimate reality, the application of reason to the data of reality to determine the most fundamental or ultimate causes and ends. And reality, in its entirety, consists of the Uncreated Creator God and His creation. (Philosophy's inquiry into ultimate causes and ends covers the full range of its sub-disciplines, which include metaphysics (being), epistemology (knowledge), logic (reasoning), aesthetics (art and beauty), rhetoric (persuasion), and morals and politics (the Good).)

Turmoil unleashed across the region as millions face crashing economies, food shortages, oppressive regimes
EASTON, Md. -- A U.S. organization focused on the Middle East and North Africa is casting the spotlight on what it calls the region's top 5 "evolving crises" at the start of 2023.
With the world's gaze fixed on Ukraine-Russia and muscle-flexing in China, "seismic events unfolding in the Middle East are simply off the radar for many in the U.S.," said Dr. Rex Rogers, president of faith-based Middle East multimedia organization SAT-7 USA (www.sat7usa.org).

20 Republicans Handed the House Back to the American People
- By Eagle Forum
After years of government-run amuck, Congress is operating in a more structured and transparent way that gives the American people more of a voice. Last week, the media tried to paint the vote for Speaker in a negative light making it seem that Republicans were unable to govern. This wasn’t the case at all. Twenty Republicans strategically fought to end the unyielding power of a few and replace it with more of a collaborative and deliberative process that all Members can take part in.
Belligerent Spending, A Congressional Addiction
- By Veronique de Rugy
After 15 failed attempts, California Rep. Kevin McCarthy finally secured the House speakership. Many worry that the concessions McCarthy made to secure his victory -- especially commitments to restrain government spending -- make the upcoming prospect of raising the debt ceiling perilous. Indeed, some fear that Republicans will refuse to raise the limit if it isn't paired with restraints on spending.
These worries fail to consider the potential financial danger the U.S. will eventually face if government debt continues to balloon unrestrained.

Is the Deep State Coming After Joe Biden?
- By Josh Hammer
The second half of Joe Biden's presidential term has officially gotten off to an ignominious start.
Earlier in the week, CBS News first broke the story that Biden had been storing classified documents, taken from his previous stint as vice president to Barack Obama, at the Chinese-funded Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement "think tank." Those classified documents were first identified by Biden's personal attorneys, CBS reported, on Nov. 2 -- a full six days before the midterm elections. Richard Sauber, Biden's special counsel, claimed that the White House counsel's office quickly notified the National Archives, which seized the documents posthaste.

Coalition Responds to Newsom's Blasphemous Billboards with Pro-Chastity Message
- By Life Legal Defense Foundation
NAPA, Calif. -- Last September California Governor Gavin Newsom's campaign paid to promote abortion via public billboards in seven states, including Ohio. Some of Newsom's billboards used the words of Jesus to invite women to travel to California for abortions: "Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these." - Mark 12:31
In response to Newsom's blasphemous billboards, a coalition of pro-life organizations is placing billboards in the same locations as Newsom posted his pro-abortion billboards. One such billboard is located in Columbus, OH.
Never Again Should Anybody Have to Be Amazed
- By Nate Leupp, Chairman of the Fourth Congressional District, SCGOP
I saw a meme the other day that said, “Never again should anybody have to be amazed at how Jim Jones got his followers to drink the poison.”
A few days after Christmas, I sent an email about the rule violations and dishonesty by the “new” Greenville GOP officers (I know, who wants political emails during the Holidays…). I had no expectation that they would admit they were violating rules, but I’m told that thanks to Mr. Ray Sheen taking a stand, the officers were forced to have the Executive Committee vote on canceling the rest of the Party’s meetings. Correctly canceling future meetings does not negate the violation of the improper cancellation of the November and January meetings. A motion or directive passed by our Executive Committee cannot be ignored by a lower body or a single person, just like a motion or directive given by the SCGOP’s Executive Committee cannot be ignored by a county party.
Small Business Owner Wins Zoning Battle, But Legal Issues Still Loom
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Jeremy Sark says he’s no longer worried about Mauldin officials closing his longtime U-Haul dealership, though the Upstate city hasn’t abandoned a controversial zoning practice at the center of his case.
The Mauldin City Council without comment during a meeting last month reversed a zoning change that would have forced Sark to move his North Main Street dealership by Dec. 31 after nine years in operation. The decision came after Sark in September sued the Greenville County city of about 26,000, City Council, Mayor Terry Merritt and David Dyrhaug, the city’s business and development services director.
The Nerve in October examined Sark’s case in-depth.
House Majority Wastes No Time Launching into New Pro-Life Priorities
- By Suzanne Bowdey - The Washington Stand
Now that the “who” question has been answered in the U.S. House, new Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is turning Republicans’ attention to the “what.” In the first full week of the GOP’s majority, there are plenty of priorities clamoring for attention, but conservatives have already made it quite clear what’s at the top: life.
Before everyone’s eyes were glued to the speaker’s race, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) tried to give Americans a preview of the big-ticket items Republicans would be tackling in the new year. In a letter to colleagues on December 30, he outlined all of the areas that needed the GOP’s immediate attention — everything from the open border to President Joe Biden’s suffocating energy policy. Included in the 11 “commonsense measures,” as Scalise called them, were the Republicans’ first cracks at the administration’s radical abortion policy.
McCarthy Indeed a Republican Leader for Complex Times
- By Star Parker
Amid the post-mortems of the four-day, 15-vote marathon to elect Kevin McCarthy House speaker, I remind readers of the headline of my Nov. 30 column, "Kevin McCarthy, a Republican Leader for Complex Times."
I thought then that that captured our reality, and I think the process that followed confirmed it.
It is human nature to want things neat and clear. But life never cooperates.
ESG = Environment, Social, Governance – NO – Entering Slavery Gladly
- By Kathleen Marquardt - American Policy Center
We have been watching our country, our world, accepting the chains of slavery that the power elite (Deep State/globalists (PE)) have told us we must wear if we are to save this world. They tell us we have been destroying this once glorious world by our use of its natural resources; by our “greedy” demand for private property rights, thus our freedom; and, especially, by our beliefs that liberty and property rights are vital principles for a just world.
For over 100 years, the PE have been working on every front to destroy those values, to brainwash us into believe we are greedy and evil to hold to those values, and to instill in us values they would never put up with themselves but are determined to force on us — if we don’t willingly accede to them. I do not exaggerate. We have watched for many decades the PE meeting in beautiful resorts around the world – flying in on their private jets, eating exotic and expensive foods and imbibing very expensive wines – all the while telling us that our eating meat instead of insects is destroying “this beautiful world they provide for us”.
Planetary magnetic fields and Biblical creation Part 1
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
One of the earliest arguments against an older earth is the observed fact that the earth magnetic field is decaying. Unfortunately, such early models of the earth's planetary magnetic field did not supply any evidence for a specific age for the earth, only an upward limit. Such early models placed upper limits on the age of the earth at around 12,000 at which point the internal heat of the earth's core from the generating current would be so great that it would blow the earth apart, not to mention that the magnetic field would be stronger than that of a neutron star. That would also make the magnetic field strong enough to kill you by just pulling the iron out of your blood.
