Don’t Be A “Sluggard” This November!
- By W.H. Lamb
"You silly ants. The government will 'take care' of you! Eat, drink, and be merry!"
“Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise.” - Proverbs 6:6 N.I.V.
I’ve written a couple of versions of this tale over the years, but considering the possible “existential importance” of the soon-to-be-upon us November, 2022 mid-term elections, a re-examination of the ‘moral’ of this hoary tale is in order. The original “story” is ancient, and probably goes back to the Greek poet, Aesop (ca. 620 B.C-560 B.C.). It has been republished and “modernized” over the centuries by various writers. A version of this was sent to me several years ago without attribution, but from my research it appears to have originated in a very abbreviated form on The Federalist Papers.org, in an article by Steve Straub back in 2015. I’ve amplified it quite a bit and changed it some to reflect our current “dilemma” caused by despicable anti-American Dumbocrats and cowardly RINOS, but the message remains the same.
Think Your Vote Doesn't Count??
- By Kat Stansell - American Policy Center
Here's why it does, and why it will be the most important one you've ever cast
The November midterm election of 2022, is almost upon us.
Despite all the many revelations of election fraud from 2020, very little has been done. Experts have analyzed the role of the machines. They have looked at overseas connections to our voting systems, and followed ownership trails of these systems. We know that a major amount of fraud has taken place, but little has actually been done to stop it. Because this election will be our last chance to save our free Republic, this is disheartening to many.
Well Being: The #1 Killer in the USA, Ages 18-45
- By Robert W Malone MD, MS
Lives ruined, Families and communities decimated by fentanyl
Fentanyl is number one killer in the USA for most age cohorts. Unfortunately, the CDC doesn’t track deaths in a timely manner to confirm that easily… But here is their position: they will say that they don’t really “know”, because “overdose deaths are spread out across four different death categories: accidents, suicide, homicide and undetermined.”
The implication of this CDC spokesperson’s statement is that we live in some reality where the 1950s never ended. Where it is either too painful, shameful or irrelevant for our society to track drug overdoses in a meaningful way. For me, I think the answer is obvious. I think we can probably all know cultural shame when we “see” it. The definition of shame is well known.
Soldiers, Not Lab Rats
- By Michael Berry - Eagle Forum Report
Each year, the U.S. Director of National Intelligence publishes the Annual Threat Assessment which identifies the greatest threats to America’s national security. Unsurprisingly, the 2021 Assessment highlights China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea as America’s preeminent threats. But perhaps our leaders should look closer to home. None other than our own Department of Defense has inflicted more losses to American military strength than any foreign adversary could ever hope to achieve through the nonsensical military vaccine mandate.
Life Legal Sues to Block Enforcement of California Law that Favors Abortion Over Childbirth
- By Life Legal Defense Foundation
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Life Legal Defense Foundation today filed suit in Kern County Superior Court to enjoin SB 245, the "Abortion Accessibility Act," which requires insurance companies to pay for abortions without any cost-sharing. This unconstitutional law discriminates against women who choose to carry their babies to term and creates perverse financial incentives that subsidize abortion.
Life Legal is suing on behalf of pro-life pregnancy care centers because the law on its face favors abortion over childbirth, which is explicitly forbidden by the California Constitution according to long-established case law.

It's Not 'Ableist' to Wonder if Fetterman Can Do His Job
- By David Harsanyi
NBC News' Dasha Burns recently aired the first in-person interview with Pennsylvania senatorial candidate John Fetterman since his stroke. The candidate needed a closed-captioned monitor to answer questions because of "auditory processing" struggles caused by his recent stroke. "In small talk before my interview," Burns added, "it wasn't clear he understood what I was saying."
Army Secretary Claims the Military Isn't Woke. 25 Incidents Prove Her Wrong.
- By Suzanne Bowdey - The Washington Stand
For someone who says she doesn’t know what “wokeness” is, Army Secretary Christine Wormuth has certainly presided over her fair share of it. Desperate to change the conversation from the branch’s pitiful recruiting numbers, Wormuth is frantically trying to defend the military’s obsession with “equity, diversity, and inclusion” while the world is teetering on the brink of nuclear war. Her strategy, apparently, isn’t to just ignore the services’ extremism, but to deny it even exists — a doomed mission, if there ever was one.
The Lay of the Land for the 2022 Elections
- By Eagle Forum
Get Out and Vote!
In less than a month, Americans will be showing up at the polls to cast their votes in the mid-term elections. This year it is important to not only get out and vote, but to educate your friends and neighbors about the candidates and concerns at stake. The top issues for voters include protecting life and constitutional liberties, fighting crime and controlling inflation. Due to redistricting, open seats and the close majorities in Congress, both Democrats and Republicans are pouring time and money into their candidates’ campaigns. With Republicans slated to take back the majority in the House and possibly the Senate, we are doing our part to usher in a red wave for conservatives! Please help us by making a donation today to Eagle Forum PAC.

PayPal Censors Speech? Users Jump Ship After Questionable Policy Draft Leak
- By Marjorie Jackson - The Washington Stand
At the end of September, popular online payment processor PayPal announced impending updates to their Acceptable Use Policies (AUP). Reported first by The Daily Wire, the policy update stated that it would debit users up to $2,500 if they engaged in banned activity such as “promot[ing] misinformation” or “hate,” effective November 3.
As the headline spread across the media, the idea that PayPal’s terms gave the company the right to withdraw several grand from bank accounts did not sit well with users, sparking outrage among many who viewed these actions as Big Tech censorsing speech. The DailyWire’s Candace Owens beckoned her following to exit the platform, tweeting, “Just moved all mony I had in my PayPal account out of it. And I very much suggest you do the same … #PayPal is dead.”

Creationism versus Naturalism
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
Contrary to what you may think Creationism is not the alternative to evolution, but rather it is the alternative to Naturalism. This confusion has often been used to argue against the scientific nature of creation science. This distinction is very important to understand the difference between scientific theories and their philosophical underpinnings.
In Support of a Young America First Scapegoat
- By Michelle Malkin
Next week, a young college student will face a federal judge in Washington, D.C., at a sentencing hearing over his nonviolent participation in the Jan. 6 Capitol rally. UCLA undergrad Christian Secor was arrested last February and spent more than a month in solitary confinement. Think about that.
Unlike the weekly parade of repeat violent criminal rapists, robbers, pedophiles and murderers across the country with massive rap sheets who enjoy a no-bail revolving door, Christian had never, ever been in trouble with the law before his arrest.
Journalist Robert Knight Exposes 2020 Election Fraud in New Book, Crooked
- By D. James Kennedy Ministries
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Journalist and pro-family conservative Robert Knight digs deep into the 2020 election and America's election mess in his new book, Crooked: What Really Happened in the 2020 Election and How to Stop the Fraud (www.djkm.org/crooked).
In the D. James Kennedy Ministries-published book, Knight serves up compelling evidence that vote fraud, unconstitutional election law rigging and Big Tech manipulation combined to yield a pre-determined result. But to the news media, as Knight observes in the book, such charges are "'false,' 'baseless,' involve 'falsehoods,' or are even a 'conspiracy theory.'" Instead of defending freedom of speech and free inquiry, the press vilifies anyone stepping outside their narrative.
The Most Important Date In American History?
- By Joseph M. Bianchi
There are many pivotal dates that come to mind when reviewing American history. December 7, 1941, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, and “911” when terrorists flew planes into the New York City Twin Towers, to name just two.
But could the most important and consequential date of the entirety of American history be this coming November 8th—the 2022 Mid-term elections?
When one considers the present condition of the country and the issues at hand, the idea is certainly not farfetched.
Anti-globalism Is Growing Around the World. Now What?
- By Paul Dragu - The New American
Italians have elected an outwardly anti-globalist government led by Giorgia Meloni.
They join the Poles, Hungarians, “far-right” Swedish Democrats, pro-Brexit Britons, Jair Bolsonaro’s Brazilian supporters, and, of course, MAGA Americans, under the growing anti-globalism umbrella.
The incoming Italian prime minister’s rhetoric is solid. She has labeled the “international regime” and “globalist leftist ideology” enemies. The international cartel’s attack on the traditional family has especially struck a chord with Meloni, as she has mentioned in numerous interviews and speeches. Like most people around the world who remain sane, Italians are tired of being browbeaten into believing that Uncle Pauli can turn into Aunt Marie. They’re tired of nonstop LGBTQ propaganda being shoved down their throats and infecting the minds of their children.
'There's No There There': Fetterman's Problems Go Beyond His Health
- By Salena Zito
PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania -- A couple hundred die-hard supporters of John Fetterman's campaign stood in the pouring rain Saturday morning in a Pittsburgh parking lot, a scene reminiscent of the former President Donald Trump supporters who stood in the rain for his rally in Greensburg in May. They were all waiting to hear him spell out the reasons why he should be the next senator from Pennsylvania.
The event began with the special guest former Steelers running back Franco Harris, who delivered a mellow 90-second speech on why Fetterman should win in November.
"Very, very important race in Pennsylvania," said Harris. "Certain people are using tactics to discourage our votes. But you know what? We will vote. We will vote."
OB/GYN Provides 'Merciful Medicine' After Turning Away from Performing Abortions
- By Christian Newswire
Former abortion doctor tells his incredible and inspiring conversion story
SAN FRANCISCO -- Dr. John Bruchalski wanted to serve women and be the very best doctor he could be, which is why he agreed to perform abortions during his residency. That was the expectation, after all, and if it was what the patient wanted, who was he to dissuade them? After years of learning moral relativism, he didn't have a problem ending the lives of unborn babies if it was what the patient wanted — until one day it didn't go as planned. This story opens Dr. Bruchalski's first book and memoir, TWO PATIENTS: MY CONVERSION FROM ABORTION TO LIFE-AFFIRMING MEDICINE (Ignatius Press).
Russia-Ukraine War Casualties and Equipment Losses
- By Mike Scruggs
Reports as of October 6, 2022
Cautious Judgement Required
Once a week, both the Ukrainian General Staff and the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense publish the damage they have done to their adversaries in the Russia-Ukraine War since its beginning on February 24. The Russians give an approximately five-minute video briefing also detailing recent events, which give some clues about fighting and military activity not reported by Western media. The Ukrainians have forbidden journalists in Ukraine from reporting anything that contradicts Ukrainian General Staff information or reveals troop movements or engagements not appropriate for public release. Both the Ukrainian General Staff and the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense released their weekly reports on October 6. The Ukrainian report is usually reported by the Kyiv Independent daily, which you can subscribe to at no cost and receive by email.
Persevering Until The End
- By W.H. Lamb
We all claim to admire people who persevere despite handicaps, hardships, family, health or financial difficulties, etc., until they reach their goal. Let’s define “Perseverance”. According to Webster’s dictionary, it is defined as: “continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failures, or oppositions.” That definition is pretty straightforward, and most of us can agree with it. However, there is much “blood, sweat, and tears” between the dictionary definition and the actual following through to the end goal of one’s perseverance. The key words of the definition are: ‘continued effort’, often for years, and sometimes under severe stress or in great pain!
When Faith Becomes a Fireable Offense: Teachers, Reporter Let Go over Beliefs
- By Dan Hart - The Washington Stand
In the space of a week, two teachers and a reporter have been fired from their jobs over stances they took because of their religious beliefs. Notably, all the firings happened in conservative parts of the country.
In North Platte, Neb., Melanie Standiford, a news director and co-anchor at KNOP-TV, was let go for collecting signatures at her church for a pro-life ballot initiative. In a statement to the Christian Post, KNOP said that news employees, “regardless of beliefs,” are not permitted to “engage in any political activity for any candidate, party, or ballot initiative.” Standiford, who had worked at the station for five years, worked her last day on September 30.
The New Global Virus Is Runaway Government Spending and Debt
- By Stephen Moore
When new British Prime Minister Liz Truss suggested lowering the United Kingdom's highest tax rate from 45% to 40%, along with a 1% reduction in the income tax rate for all taxpayers, the bond markets and the central bankers around the world went stark raving mad.
The academic pinheads at the International Monetary Fund trashed the tax cut as irresponsible. The bond vigilantes started selling Britain's bonds. And the Bank of England, which had also savaged the tax cut idea, stepped in to buy bonds to stop the bleeding.
