Despite a Weak PA System and Standing Room only, The Crowd Stayed to the End

Carly Fiorina is a petite, very articulate former chairman and CEO OF HP, a technology company with annual revenue surpassing $90 billion. Her presentations are well-rehearsed and precise.

On the first day in office she would call her friend Netenyahu and tell him the United States is backing Israel. The second call will be to the Iranians to tell them they will behave or their money supply will be restricted.

She explains that she has been seated across the table from Russia’s Putin, the King of Jordan and other world leaders, and she knows them and how to work with them.

“Would you like to see me debate Hillary Clinton?” she asks to thunderous applause.

Fiorina describes herself as pro-life with exceptions for rape, incest and the life of the mother. “This should be left up to a woman and her physician.”

She learned conservatism from sitting at her fathers knee as he watched the TV  news and yelled at Walter Kronkite. She began her career in a small company with 7 employees. She worked hard and took advantage of opportunities.

She acknowledges being fired by the HP Board of Directors, but shrugs it off as being the result of trying to change the “status quo.”

After leaving HP she entered the US Senate race in California and was defeated by incumbent Democrat Barbara Boxer.

Some observers see Carley as a party choice should Jeb Bush fail to gain traction. So far,  she has managed to operate “below the radar,” and avoid many of the more controversial issues. She is very good at accusing Hillary Clinton of breaking the law, lying and being untrustworthy. Now that she is becoming well-known, she will be asked about additional issues.
