Is Tolerating Sexual Assault PC Now?

On January 1, a Police Department spokesman in Cologne, Germany, told CNN that as many as a quarter of 90 criminal incidents that took place during the New Year’s Eve celebration were sexual assaults on German women. More than 1,000 men, described as Arab or North African in appearance were involved in the attacks, which took place at the city’s central railway station. Similar gang attacks were reported in Hamburg, Berlin, Stuttgart. Dusseldorf, and Munich. Police in Sweden and Finland are investigating similar gang attacks on the same day.

According to the Guardian, German Chancellor Angela Merkel released a statement saying that the attackers would be punished “without regard to their origin and background.”

German Justice Minister Heiko Maas tweeted the BBC that “we won’t tolerate these abhorrent assaults on women,” but stated that “the crimes were not linked to migrants and refugees” and that “all are equal before the law.” It is now common knowledge, however, that these crimes were perpetrated by Muslim refugees and illegal immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa.

On Sunday morning, January 10, the Cologne Police revealed that the extent of the crimes and assaults had been much larger than originally reported. The crime count has now risen to 516 of which 40 percent, over 200 were sexual assaults!

The German government, especially Frau Merkel, has so far consistently tried to cover up the extent of the assaults in Cologne and other German cities and minimize any connection to refugees, Muslims, or the fanatical doctrines Islamic Supremacy, Hijra (migration), and Jihad (holy war). There has, however, been widespread public protest over not only the refugee crime wave, but especially government attempts to deny or cover up the full extent of it.  Frau Merkel seems to spend more time demonizing “right wing” protestors than on honest assessment on how foolish government immigration and refugee policies opened the gates of hell on German women.  On Saturday, January 8, riot police in Cologne had to use a water cannon to disperse anti-immigrant protesters

Has Western Civilization reached such a low state of manliness that we would minimize, cover up, or deny sexual assaults on our women so that we can seem respectable to politically correct, cowardly dumb-heads?

Also on January 8, Wolfgang Albers the chief of police for North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany’s most populous state, was suspended for holding back information on the Cologne attacks, including the origin of the suspects. I fear, however, that he is only a scapegoat for higher and wider German and European guilt, aided and abetted by American examples.

According to Reuters, the attacks in Cologne occurred as police were trying to prevent fireworks from being thrown into the crowd. The men broke into groups of around ten and proceeded to isolate and assault German women and girls. This is a tactic that police in the UK and Sweden have seen before. This is one of the things that led Justice Minister Maas to state: “Nobody can tell me that this was not coordinated and prepared.”

Frau Merkel allowed 1.1 million Muslim refugees in the country in 2015. At least 10,000 of them came to Cologne, the fourth largest city in Germany, with a population of slightly over 1.0 million. Germany’s population of 81 million was 5.4 percent Muslim in 2009.  Germany welcomed 200,000 Muslim refugees in 2014, up from 127,000 in 2013.  With the recent refugee surge, the number of Muslims in Germany is probably greater than 6.0 million, or about 7.3 percent of the population.  In 2005, 9.1 percent of all German births were to Muslim parents. This percentage is undoubtedly rising sharply.

The number of Muslims in Germany was very small until 1961, when the German government began their Gastarbeiter (guest-worker) Program to supply cheap labor to German industry. This was claimed to be necessary because of the falling German birthrate. The Gastarbeiter Program, however, stuck German taxpayers with what has turned out to be a huge welfare liability, while industry enjoyed cheap wages, a political swindle comparable to U.S. immigration policy. The Gastarbeiter Program may someday be looked at as the beginning of the end of Germany, unless German politics turns decisively more conservative very soon. This is beginning to happen. Only 19 percent of German natives believe Islam is compatible with German society. A recent poll found that 57 percent of non-Muslim Germans feel threatened by Islam. The German people are right, but their fears are dismissed as racial and religious bigotry by German establishment politicians who persist in holding a dangerous counterfactual fantasy about the nature of Islam.  We often see this sort of arrogant self-righteousness in the. politics of both U.S. major parties as well.

About 63 percent of German Muslims until this year were Turks, of which about half are now voting German citizens. Over 75 percent are Sunni Muslims, which probably means considerable Muslim Brotherhood influence on German banks and government. Two-thirds of German Muslims believe Islamic Law (Sharia) is more important than German law. Forty-six percent of German Muslims admit that they would like to see Germany become majority-Muslim in the future.

German Muslims are also much more intensely religious than German Christians, whose regular church attendance is only 14 percent. Over 60 percent of Germans claim to be Christians, but in a 2011 survey, 33 percent claimed to be either atheists or agnostics. As a historical aside, Adolf Hitler admired Muslims as a strong and warlike people, who would make a good replacement for weak Christians. Of course, he also had a common anti-Jewish bond with them.

German protest is becoming more organized. A recent immigration protest rally in Dresden drew a crowd of 25,000. This was organized by a Facebook group, which only started in October, calling itself “Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of Europe,” with the German acronym of PEGIDA.  Its leader, Lutz Bachmann, 41, who runs a public relations agency, has suddenly become a national political personality condemned by the German establishment politicians as “extreme right.” Actually, Bachmann’s demands are rather modest in comparison to the dangers Germany faces in the future. PEGIDA simply believes immigration and national identity are issues that have been neglected by European politicians and that the recent refugee surge into Europe has brought Islamic influence in Germany to dangerous levels.

As I have pointed out in earlier articles, the European Union (EU) has deliberately used Muslim immigration to undermine the distinctive cultural, religious, and political traditions of EU member states. This is despicable cultural Marxism.

PEGIDA is spreading around Europe. Last week, a PEGIDA march was held in Oslo, Norway, and a march in Denmark is scheduled for this week. The Swiss PEGIDA Facebook page gets several thousand likes per day. PEGIDA’s motto is “We are the people, “ a slogan borrowed from bringing down the Communist government of East Germany in 1990.  PEGIDA is a natural ally to the Alternative for Germany (AfD) political party, which the politically correct media continually refer to as “far-right” because they want to save Germany from becoming a nightmare Islamic Republic.

I like Melanie Phillips’ summary statement In the London Times on January 10:

“The West is refusing to accept the unpalatable truth behind the assaults on women in Germany.”

Moreover, the greater danger is that the West is refusing to accept the unpalatable truth about the doctrines and teachings of Islam, which are spelled out in

the Koran and example of Muhammad.  All of Western Civilization is in danger, and we are closer to the edge of annihilation than most people dream.  It is going to take the grace of God, clear-headed, energetic, and tough-minded leadership to save us from our own politically correct folly.
