Legion Ladies Make Custom Christmas Wreaths to Support Veteran Activities PDF Print E-mail

The Rudolf D. Anderson American Legion Post 214, Taylors, SC will be having a Christmas fundraiser at the Holiday Fair, located at the TD Center. The Holiday Fair runs from Thursday, December lst through Saturday December 3rd. The American Legion Post 214 Booth is 415.

These wreaths will be available at the Holiday Fair or they maybe ordered by calling Clyde Rector at 864-304-5350.

The Post will be selling hand-made original and custom Christmas wreaths, maple cutting boards, American flags and cedar sachets and other hand-made items. Many of the wreaths available have a patriotic theme and can be used on many national holidays. The wreaths range in price from $30.00 to $75.00. All items on sale were made by members and family members of the American Legion Post 214. ln addition, the Post will be raffling off a beautiful picture made into the glass, made and donated by Roland Baird. The cost of the tickets are $5.00 each.

The proceeds from the Christmas fund raiser will be used to support veteran activities at Christmas. In the past the Post has donated to such projects as Toys for Tots.

In addition to selling items at the booth, the Post will decorate one ofthe Christmas Trees at the entrance to the Holiday Fair. The tree will be decorated in a patriotic theme.
