Nullify Unconstitutional Federal Spending
- By The John Birch Society
ACT NOW: States should use nullification to stop unconstitutional federal spending, just as they can use it to stop other federal usurpations. Urge your state legislators to do this.
The United States federal government has far exceeded its constitutional limitations, regularly violating Americans’ God-given rights and exercising powers not delegated to it. State governments have an obligation to resist these usurpations by nullifying — that is, making unenforceable, or null and void — all unconstitutional federal actions. Regarding unconstitutional federal spending, there are at least two specific ways states can do this:
Communism 2.0-The Breaking Down of America
- By Catching Fire News
Ileana Johnson joins Kathleen to discuss neo-communism aka “communism 2.0,” and why it is even worse than the original. They also get into why a push for a “con con” or “constitutional convention” could dangerously open the door to replacing the United States Constitution with a one world version.
America Needs Political Prediction Markets
- By Stephen Moore
Just in time for the heat of the election season, a federal agency called the Commodity Futures Trading Commission has announced it will no longer allow betting on political and election outcomes.
These online wagering platforms, most notably PredictIt, allow betting on all sorts of political outcomes: the odds that Republicans win the Senate in November, the odds that Joe Biden will be the next Democratic nominee for president (right now 33%) or the odds that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis wins the GOP nomination in 2024 (right now 38%). You can also bet on whether a piece of legislation will pass.

Not Just Pronouns: Now “Trans” Activists Want to Control Your Bathroom Habits
- By Selwyn Duke - The New American
It’s not enough for “transgender” activists to control how you speak with their pronoun prescriptions (e.g., ze, zir, zem). Now ze want to control your bathroom habits, too. Seriously.
This came to light after men attending a recent American Political Science Association (APSA) conference were asked to refrain from using urinals “out of respect for” others. The issue?
“Transmen” — meaning, women masquerading as men — may be triggered, offended, or disturbed because they can’t perform the nature call in question standing up.
Understanding the Russia-Ukraine War
- By Mike Scruggs
Essential Clarifying Background
Many Americans see the Russia-Ukraine War as an extension of the 1945-1991 Cold War that pitted the U.S. and its NATO alliance against the former Soviet Union. The smaller Russian Federation that succeeded the former Soviet Union, however, is not the Communist Soviet Union. Communism was rejected by the Russian Federation, which strives for economic growth through a freer more capitalistic economy with a more democratized political system. These economic and democratic reforms are far from perfect. Abruptly transitioning from corrupt totalitarian Communism to a freer society seeking the public good was a mountainous task and that task is still ongoing.

I’ve used the following sources to tell this true tale of almost unspeakable heroism, from which I learned of this story and from which I quote freely and paraphrase in my own words: 1) Transcript of a 2010 report about Witold Pilecki by National Public Radio; 2) Wikipedia; 3) Jewish Virtual Library.
Activists to Hold Protest in Front of the Home of Washington, D.C.'s Mayor Calling for an End to Abortion Violence in Our Nation's Capital
- By Christian Defense Coalition
WASHINGTON -- Activists to hold a protest in front of the home of Washington, D.C.'s Mayor calling for an end to abortion violence in our nation's capital.
Leaders will be showing on a large LED screen, graphic videos and images of 5 late-term aborted children who were killed in Washington, D.C. earlier this year.
The pro-life and anti-violence advocates will also be demanding Mayor Muriel Bowser order autopsies to be conducted on the 5 late-term aborted children who still remain in the Washington, D.C. morgue.
The coalition said they would pay for the full expenses incurred by the DC Medical Examiner's office for any autopsies performed.
Democrats’ Lofty Goals Fizzle Before Elections
- By Eagle Forum
In true D.C. dysfunctional fashion, liberal plans to pigeon-hole conservatives into taking tough votes before the November elections are falling apart. The Democrat-controlled House and Senate have been back in Washington, D.C. for almost three weeks and have nothing to show for it. Promises of bills that will fund COVID (even though President Biden just announced the pandemic is over), keep the government afloat (can you say bloated continuing funding resolution?), shovel even more money to the war in Ukraine, and codify same-sex marriage (the ironically named Respect for Marriage Act) have yet to move. With only ten days left until October recess, Democrats are scrambling to wrap up any of these issues.
Understanding the Hispanic Vote: Leaders Chime in on Republican Shift
- By Marjorie Jackson - The Washington Stand
“Every year, one million Hispanic youth turn 18 and become eligible to vote. Since 2016 voter registration numbers among Hispanic Americans have swelled 24% compared to 9% for all other ethnic groups in America. Recently, we’ve seen evidence that Hispanic Americans, whether they be Mexicans, Colombians, Venezuelans, Cubans, Puerto Ricans, etc., are changing their voting behavior, and leaving the Democratic Party in favor of the Republican Party.”
According to FRC Action Director Matt Carpenter, the numbers don’t lie. Hispanic population growth and voter registration numbers are skyrocketing in the United States. At last week’s Pray Vote Stand Summit, Carpenter hosted a panel titled, “Faith, Politics, and the Hispanic Realignment.” Three leaders in the Hispanic Republican movement joined him on stage to unpack the Latin American vote and the recent red wave among Hispanics. Their conclusion? In the words of one panelist, “I believe that Hispanics are going to be the backbone of saving this country — and we need to save this country.”
The Label of Science Denier
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
The science denier labeled is Ad hominem (personal attack) that harkens back to Holocaust deniers, who were Nazi sympathizers that denied the reality of the Holocaust despite the overwhelming evidence. So basically, the use of the label is comparing creationists and Nazi sympathizers.
The notion behind this label is that the person using it thinks that a particular theory is an irrefutable science and that consequently, anyone who disagrees with it is simply denying it. This ignores the fact that there can be legitimate reasons for questioning even well-established scientific principles. One possibility is that the person to which they are applying the label has not had the concept presented to them properly. Another legitimate reason would be they do not trust the concept because of who is pushing the idea, climate change is a good example of this. The third legitimate reason is that they see possible flaws in the idea. Whether or not they are correct is a different matter, but you are not going to convince someone that they are mistaken about something by calling them names.
Ron DeSantis Found a Way to Finally Get People to Focus on America's Open Border Catastrophe
- By Neil Patel
What's been happening at America's southern border is so crazy and so out of control that it's almost hard to comprehend. As with all national issues, the power of the corporate media to set the narrative for the massive (but shrinking) number of Americans who still rely on them exclusively to stay informed has also played a role. The media is not interested in the border story. Sure, they cover it when they absolutely must, but they have been downplaying the catastrophe from the start. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott are changing all that. They are creating a story that even the corporate media can't ignore. In the process, Americans are being forced, for the first time, to confront the reality of the tragedy on America' southern border.

Biden Commits US to War for Taiwan
- By Pat Buchanan
If China invades Taiwan to unify it with the mainland, the United States will go to war to defend Taiwan and send U.S. troops to fight the invaders.
That is the commitment made last week by President Joe Biden.
Asked by CBS's Scott Pelley on "60 Minutes" if the U.S. would fight in defense of Taiwan if China invaded, Biden replied, "Yes, if, in fact, there was an unprecedented attack."
Pelley followed up: "So, unlike Ukraine, to be clear, sir, U.S. forces -- U.S. men and women -- would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion."
'My Blood Still Boils': Father Recalls School's Secret Attempt to Transition Daughter
- By Marjorie Jackson - The Washington Stand
At the beginning of this year, Wendell Perez got a call that no father ever wants to receive — his elementary-aged daughter had attempted to hang herself in the school bathroom. Perez and his wife rushed to the school, where their daughter was whisked away by a police car to stay in a mental institution for a week. Searching for answers, the couple found out from school administrators that their “son” had been struggling with “his” gender identity. On top of that, the school had remained quiet about the issue as the student was concerned that “he” would not be accepted at home because of the family’s faith.
Businesses with ‘Deep Pockets’ Targeted in SC Lawsuits
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
A longstanding South Carolina law can result in big verdicts against defendants in civil cases, with critics contending it often is used to target successful businesses that had relatively little fault.
Attention to the “joint-and-several” liability law has been heightened in recent months with a high-profile, wrongful-death case involving once-prominent Hampton County attorney Alex Murdaugh, who also is facing murder charges in the shooting deaths of his wife and son – part of an ongoing legal saga that has captivated the nation.
Critics say the state law, which was last amended in 2005, is unfair to businesses named as defendants in lawsuits because they can be required to pay entire verdicts even if they were far less than responsible for the alleged wrongs. Supporters contend the law was intended to allow plaintiffs to collect the full amount of awarded damages.

Newsom Quotes Jesus to Advertise Abortion in Pro-Life States
- By Joshua Arnold - The Washington Stand
California Governor Gavin Newsom on Thursday cited the words of Jesus from Mark 12:31 in support of abortion, “Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no greater commandment than these.” The billboard campaign advertises California abortion in seven pro-life states — Indiana, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Texas.
The advertisements are paid for by Newsom’s reelection campaign, and Newsom tweeted the ads at the respective governors of those states from his personal account, presumably because he understands that the campaign is nothing but a political gimmick unworthy to be funded by California’s overburdened taxpayers.

The Great Food Reset
- By Marc Morano – Eagle Forum Report
America’s food security is being threatened by the forces of the Great Reset led by the World Economic Forum in Davos and under the thumb of the United Nations “sustainable development” Agenda 2030. “Biden Says to Expect ‘Real’ Food Shortages Due to Ukraine War,” blared a headline from Bloomberg News in 2022. “It’s going to be real,” Biden asserted. The U.N. estimated that 2.3 billion people are severely or moderately hungry globally.
A food crisis is just the ticket for even more chaos that the WEF can exploit for their Reset agenda. “Over the last decade” China has been “snapping up farmland and purchasing major agribusinesses,” according to a 2021 report by Politico. “By the start of 2020, Chinese owners controlled about 192,000 agricultural acres in the U.S., worth $1.9 billion, including land used for farming, ranching, and forestry, according to the Agriculture Department.”
They're All Open-Borders Hypocrites
- By Michelle Malkin
All the world's a stage, especially two heated months before Election Day. So you'll have to forgive me for not joining the theatrical media frenzy over Martha's Vineyard being overrun by illegal aliens. It's just another naked open-borders exhibition by both political parties that makes a miserable mockery of our country's immigration policies.
Yes, I said both parties.
Sure, Republican governors are exposing the grand hypocrisy of limousine liberals who preach diversity and tolerance while walling off their exclusive colony. Rah-rah, sis-boom, ha-ha-ha. Hilarity abounds. So many memes and viral videos! What a riot giggling about which Democratic city illegal aliens should be sent to next.
More Parents Turn to Private Christian Schools, Enrollment Surges
- By Christian Newswire
New study by DickersonBakker shows many Christian schools not ready for influx of new students, lack fundraising know-how
RALEIGH, N.C. -- More parents want their children in private Christian schools, but many Christian schools aren't geared up for the influx of new students, a new research study by nonprofit consulting firm DickersonBakker says.
Christian schools -- including many that were until recently struggling to fill classrooms -- are seeing a surge in interest and enrollment, says the just-released report, A National Study on Christian School Growth and Sustainability.
Eight out of 10 Christian school leaders say there's increasing demand for Christian education in their area, and the same number report their enrollment has grown since the pandemic.
Religious Freedom Means Nothing If Religion Means Nothing
- By Star Parker
In August of 1790, President George Washington visited Rhode Island, which a few months earlier had ratified the U.S. Constitution.
Among those who welcomed the new president was the Hebrew Congregation of Rhode Island, founded in 1763. Now known as the Touro Synagogue, it is the oldest standing synagogue in the nation.
The synagogue's representative wrote to the president, expressing gratitude that Jews in Rhode Island, in the newly formed United States of America, lived, in contrast to their co-religionists in other parts of the world, with "invaluable rights as free citizens."
I Am Not A Threat
- By Alveda King
Recently, President Biden escalated the inflammatory rhetoric that inundates American politics to a whole new level. In prepared remarks, President Biden referred to President Trump's voters as "MAGA Republicans" and called the America First movement "semi-fascism," in effect smearing the good character of almost half the country and demonizing his political opponents.
Mr. President, while I am a "MAGA" supporter, I am by no means a fascist or a threat to this nation. I am a Fredrick Douglass Republican, I am a friend of President Trump, and I am a prayerful American Christian woman working to unite humanity as the one blood human race.
Biden Is Losing the Race for the Cure
- By Stephen Moore
President Joe Biden recently announced, with great fanfare, his Cancer Moonshot initiative. Biden used soaring and promising rhetoric about, at last, finding a cure for one of the world's leading killers.
Speaking at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston on Sept. 12, the president declared: "Beating cancer is something we can do together, and that's why I'm here today." For perhaps the first time in his presidency, Biden seemed to cross the aisle and reach out for Republican support by saying: "Cancer doesn't discriminate red and blue; it doesn't care if you're a Republican or a Democrat."
Biden is right that the race for the cure is and should always be bipartisan. After all, who doesn't want to defeat cancer? Well, actually, the president and every Democrat in Congress seem not to have this as a top priority -- or even a priority at all.
Glenn Beck Rescinds His Previous Approval of a Constitutional Convention
- By The John Birch Society
URGENT: Popular talk-radio host Glenn Beck officially changed his opinion about a Con-Con — once in favor, he announced on his show that he now opposes this dangerous idea.
On his September 15 morning podcast, Beck said:
I have been a supporter of the Article V Convention of States. I’ve been a pretty big supporter, vocal supporter. I’m reversing that today. Because after some real thought and prayer, we are not the people to open up this sacred document. We are not the people – that was a God-inspired document. That was divinely written. … Benjamin Franklin even said that.
The very hand of God was involved in the writing of that document. Do you believe that we could send delegates to a convention today that would have that kind of inspiration, that when they got to an impasse, somebody would be there like Ben Franklin that would say, “Let’s pause and all go to church and pray.” They didn’t politick, they prayed.
I am not for opening that constitution anymore. When we are the people, I’ll be for it again. … And I’m afraid it’s just going to take a massive beatdown of our country to get to that place. Someday we will be humble enough, we will recognize God, we will not be an enemy to God. We will not be so arrogant. And when we’re those people I will support the Convention of States. But I withdraw my support. And I’m sorry to say that, but I withdraw my support. … This Constitution is wholly inadequate for anyone other than a religious and moral people. We are not those people. And we should not stain this document.
