Behind the Curtain of War in Ukraine
- By Mike Scruggs
Division in the Eastern Orthodox Church
There are approximately 260 million Orthodox Christians in the world, and the two largest nations where Orthodox Christianity predominates are Russia and Ukraine. The Eastern Orthodox Church in Constantinople (now Istanbul) broke away from the Roman Catholic Church in 1054, in what is usually termed “the Great Schism.” The chief dispute was over the authority of the Pope. After the fall of Constantinople in 1453 to Muslim armies of the Ottoman Empire, the main center of Orthodox Christianity became Moscow. There is no office equivalent to Pope in Orthodox Christianity, and national Orthodox churches have considerable autonomy.
Dems Give Thomas an Offer He Can't Recuse
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
The Left has never needed an excuse to vilify Clarence Thomas. The longtime Supreme Court justice has been a thorn in the side of Democrats' lawless agenda for 30 years. So it's really no surprise that of the thousands of pages of texts submitted to the House's January 6th Committee, his wife's messages to the White House just "happened" to be leaked to the press. Now, in their latest attempt to dispatch their judicial foe, the president's party is arguing that being married to someone with political views should be grounds for impeachment.
Power Play by S.C. Attorney General in $600M Settlement?
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
The state’s top court next week will consider whether S.C. attorney general Alan Wilson could legally pay two private law firms – one of which he formerly worked at – $75 million out of a $600 million settlement with the federal government over plutonium storage in South Carolina.
“That’s money that should be and is the property of the state of South Carolina,” said Greenville attorney Jim Carpenter, one of the lawyers who represent the plaintiffs in the case, when contacted Thursday by The Nerve. “It’s not the attorney general’s money to dole out.”
Carpenter represents longtime government activist John Crangle of Columbia and the South Carolina Public Interest Foundation, a not-for-profit organization in Greenville County known over the years for suing state and local government on behalf of citizens.
A Trojan Horse Is Stalking Our Nation – Beware Of Pseudo-Conservatives Bearing “Constitutional” Panaceas! – Part 3
- By W.H. Lamb
The “Convention of States” proponents, headed by Mark Meckler, constantly reassure the doubters and the skeptics (of which I am one) that their COS would be strictly “limited to proposing amendments related to the listed topics”. In actuality, however, that is their usual “soothing syrup” spread over the gullible among their followers and the uneducated amongst the population, because any constitutional convention (and their COS IS a CON CON) could, and conceivably would, result in a RUNAWAY CONVENTION that could reverse or eliminate any number of our current constitution’s limitations on the power of the federal government (at least the way our Founders intended—not that the criminals and buffoons in Congress pay much attention to our constitution any more) and its interference in the lives of the American people. Sad to say, but a new CON CON/COS could actually accomplish the SAME goals that many of its advocates claim to be fighting against.
But, I Identify as Christian!
- By Ben Graydon
WHY SHOULD I LET YOU INTO MY HEAVEN?
Why? Come on, Lord! You KNOW why. Didn’t I walk down an aisle and recite a sinner’s prayer? Didn’t I get water baptized – all the way submerged! - and join the church? Didn’t I do everything that the preacher said to do?
Didn’t I graduate from a Christian school and then go to a Christian college? Didn’t I major in religious studies, and wasn’t I very religious? Didn’t I keep my hair cut short and not listen to rock music, including Contemporary Christian Music? Didn’t I marry a Christian girl in a Christian wedding in a Christian church?
Wasn’t I in church every time the doors were open, not just Christmas and Easter? Didn’t I put money in the offering plate every time it was passed? Didn’t I tithe over and above the 10%?
Cesar Chavez Was No Hero
- By Tom DeWeese - American Policy Center
March 31st is celebrated annually as a holiday in ten U.S. States to honor United Farm Workers Union founder Cesar Chavez as an American hero. I beg to differ!
Cesar Chavez is portrayed to the American public as a champion of poor Hispanic migrant workers who were paid mere pennies to work in the grape and lettuce fields of California. According to the tale, the farmers got rich off the backs of the migrant labor, selling the lettuce and making expensive wines from the grapes. Meanwhile the poor, misused migrants carried meager belongings on their backs and traveled from farm to farm, hoping to find work, perhaps a meal, and a place to sleep. Even little children were forced to work in the fields – just to keep the family alive. So goes the tale.
Choose Wisely in 2022, Elections Have Consequences, Like These…
- By Lynz Piper-Loomis - Candidate for U.S. Congress, SC-01
Congressional Candidate Lynz Piper-Loomis Addresses Her Primary Opponent's Pledges & Support of Legislation for the Trans Agenda, which is Un-Constitutional, Un-American, Toxic, & Evil. Lynz also Addresses Her Primary Opponent's Support of Other Initiatives & Legislation.
It is a devastating blow to SC-01 when we now have TWO candidates running for the PEOPLE'S SEAT that are supportive of the trans agenda that has waged war across this land. ANY history of commitment to this agenda and any current commitment to this agenda proves that both of these candidates are not fit to serve.
This ideology is a threat to our Constitutional Republic, which we CANNOT allow. Katie Arrington compromisingly signed the pledge for Equal Means Everyone.

NCAA Warned to Stay in their Lane after Swim Controversy
- By Joshua Arnold - Family Research Council
Representative Mary Miller (R-Ill.) and other members of Congress threw the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) a life preserver yesterday, writing the embattled organization's president a letter with a stern warning, "if the NCAA is unwilling to protect women, Congress will be forced to take immediate action." The NCAA is drowning in a pool of its own making after allowing a male swimmer to outrace all the females in the women's 500-yard freestyle championship race. Congress is offering the NCAA a chance to do the right thing voluntarily, but it's unlikely that the NCAA has enough sense or boldness to recognize that before Congress cracks down.
Senate to Vote on KBJ Nomination Soon
- By Eagle Forum
In the coming days, the Senate will vote to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as a Supreme Court Justice. Eagle Forum has grave concerns with Judge Jackson’s potential confirmation.
Among these concerns is Judge Jackson’s anti-life position. Throughout the hearing Judge Jackson refused to answer many questions regarding her stance on abortion, citing that either she could not because those questions were in the Court system or that she did not know. When asked by Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) whether unborn children at 20-weeks feel pain, the Judge responded that she did not know. In addition, as an attorney, Judge Jackson wrote a brief on behalf of pro-abortion groups supporting a law that blocked pro-life advocates from approaching abortion clinics. Given this and her responses throughout the hearings, it’s not a surprise that Planned Parenthood and NARAL support Judge Jackson’s confirmation.

State Law Keeps Judicial Income Hidden from Public
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Under state court rules, judges must avoid even the “appearance of impropriety” in all of their activities, and “minimize the risk of conflict” with their official duties.
Citizens, however, typically have no easy way of determining whether the income sources of many South Carolina judges or their immediate family members pose potential conflicts of interest when those judges are hearing court cases. That’s partly because unlike for other public officials, state law exempts most judges from filing annual income-disclosure statements with the State Ethics Commission.
And judges also are exempted from having their annual taxpayer-funded incomes listed in the online salary database for state employees making at least $50,000 yearly.
There's More for You in 2022
- By Alveda King
At the beginning of 2022, my pastor Theo McNair, Jr. preached a sermon entitled "There is More." The message encouraged me so much that I'd like to share a first quarter recap and perhaps help you prepare for what's to come.
In January 2022 we observed the annual March for Life, and the birthday of my uncle, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. During this season, the Dobbs case, a controversial challenge to legal abortion in America was in full-fledged public debate. Lt. Governor Winsome Sears was sworn into office during this time.
The Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization is still a pending U.S. Supreme Court case dealing with the constitutionality of a 2018 Mississippi state law that banned abortion operations after the first 15 weeks of pregnancy.
Conservatives Need to Take Better Advantage of the Gifts From the Far Left
- By Neil Patel
According to Pew, the so-called progressive left makes up only 6% of the American population and 12% of the Democratic Party. This small group is overwhelmingly white (nearly 70%), young and highly educated. They are also extremely engaged politically, voting and donating to candidates at a higher rate than almost any other political grouping. And they are overrepresented in many key positions of influence, including academia, media, Hollywood and, increasingly, corporate America.
Building NWO Control
- By The John Birch Society
Vladimir Putin wants to redraw the lines in Eastern Europe, by invading Ukraine. But is there more to the story? Changing the boundaries of countries, oil and energy, the push for more power and a One World Government all fit together like pieces of a New World Order puzzle.
Watch this video to learn more about how regional governments move us toward a One World Government.
Insult Diplomacy: Does Biden's Vilification of Putin Help?
- By Pat Buchanan
Several weeks into the war in Ukraine, ABC's George Stephanopoulos asked President Joe Biden if he agreed with those who call Russian President Vladimir Putin "a killer."
"I do," said Biden.
Since calling Putin a killer, Biden has progressed to calling him "a war criminal," "a murderous dictator," "a pure thug" and "a butcher."
It is difficult to recall an American president using such a string of epithets about the leader of a nation with which we were not at war.
What is Biden's rationale? What is his purpose here?
White House’s Proposed Spending Blows Americans’ Budgets
- By Eagle Forum
President Biden released his budget proposal for the 2023 fiscal year this week. Even though the House and Senate Appropriation committees tend to act in the majority’s interests, the White House’s budget is supposed to set the fiscal priorities for the year. As usual, Biden’s budget is full of leftist priorities, and we will be the ones paying for it.
The White House’s fiscal proposal comes with a price tag of $5.8 trillion. Here are some of the line items to pay attention to:
Mickey's Mantle of Radicalism
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Apparently, Disney isn't planning to make nice with parents anytime soon. Thanks to bombshell video, leaked Tuesday, Americans are starting to understand just what kind of Fantasyland the company is. Corporate President Karey Burke painted a horrifying picture of the company's future projects, insisting on an employee Zoom call that she wants a "minimum of 50 percent of its characters to be LGBTQIA" and other minorities. "I'm here as the mother of two queer children," Burke said, "one transgender child and one pansexual child." And "going forward," she insisted, those are the stories Disney should be telling.

Agenda 2030: The Root of America's Economic Problems
- By Paul Dragu - The New American
In this spellbinding interview, Paul discusses with leading Agenda 2030 expert Tom DeWeese how this nefarious global master plan is being implemented, the lie that Agenda 2030 has no binding power, examples of how “green” measures are actually worse for the environment, and how communities have and should push back against this plan for global totalitarian government.
Meadows Begins Campaign for Re-election to Greenville County Council
- By Press Release
Greenville County Councilman Willis Meadows officially announced today the beginning of his campaign for re-election to Greenville County Council District 19 seat.
Meadows, chairman of County Council, who is currently owner of a Greenville insurance agency, said that he will continue to give the district "an effective, experienced and conservative voice on Greenville County Council."
"As a long-time resident of Greenville County I care deeply about our community," Meadows said. "District 19 is facing new challenges, presented by unprecedented growth. Along with the existing problems of development, congestion, and an increasing property tax burden, County Council continually faces new challenges that require common-sense solutions. I want to continue to help find these new common-sense solutions for our county just as I have done for the past four terms as a Council member. This approach is the same as I have used in my education and business careers for over five decades."
Abortion's Knocking, WHO's There
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
A party that can't even define the word "woman" would have a field day with "human rights." That's what Republican Rand Paul (R-Ky.) has been warning people since the latest Russian sanctions bill flew through the House and landed at the Senate's door. Just because Congress wants to help Ukraine stop the senseless killing doesn't mean it should open the door to senseless killing of another kind: abortion.
"Somebody ought to read the bills, don't you think?" the Kentucky conservative fired back when reporters hounded him for holding up the vote. "If you don't define what human-rights abuses are, you set up something so wide open that... a president [could] sanction anyone in the world for anything they feel like," Paul argued.
Dr. Robert Malone: CDC Got Caught Hiding Data, Vaccination Might Increase Risk of Omicron Infection
- By Roman Balmakov - Epoch TV
While in Florida, we sat down with Dr. Robert Malone—who is a vaccine expert, and holds several patents to the original mRNA technology—and we discussed how the CDC recently got caught hiding critical vaccine data, how getting the COVID-19 vaccine might actually increase the risk of Omicron infection, as well as the concept of “mass formation psychosis.”
Never Forgotten: The Lies About Terri Schiavo
- By Michelle Malkin
This week marks the 17th anniversary of the court-sanctioned murder of Terri Schindler Schiavo. Under the order of a Florida judge who never bothered to visit her and an adulterous spouse-in-name-only who ranted "When is that b---- gonna die?" to one of Terri's nurses, American legal and medical authorities supervised the cruel, two-week-long starvation and dehydration of a profoundly disabled woman who was not terminally ill and who had an army of family members ready to care for her for the rest of her natural life.
Your Pain at the Pump is Part of Agenda 2030
- By Paul Dragu - The New American
Inflation was already at a 40-year high when gas prices skyrocketed to historic records. In this episode, Paul interviews Tom DeWeese, an expert on Agenda 2030 who wrote the book on and has spoken extensively about this diabolical plan. Tom explains how your pain at the pump and other energy-related woes are part of a nefarious plan for one-world totalitarian government. Tom also exposes the “climate crisis” fallacy and discusses how green energy schemes often cause more harm to the environment than they prevent. Tom concludes with what you can do to fight back against Agenda 2030 and preserve freedom and prosperity.
