Regimes come to power in all sorts of ways. Your Civics class likely taught you that American presidents rise to that office by means of Americans voting – one man, one vote, on a state-by-state basis – and that, while “voting rights” have changed significantly in the past 200 years, our “democratic” way of voting is supposed to produce the freest elections in the world. True students of American history realize that, factually, Constitutional free elections have not been ours since at least 1861 and the regime of Lincoln. But, for the sake of argument, let’s say that American voting processes in our “constitutional republic” are effective at producing a presidential administration that is the desired choice of the majority of the States’ (the “republican” part of “constitutional republic”) votes as expressed via the Electoral College. That all went out the window a year ago after COupVID had ginned up such mass hysteria that a plurality of Americans – who would have been delighted at that point to have been able to successfully obtain toilet paper by mail – had been manipulated to willingly forego free and fair elections, limited only to lawful voters who followed long-standing legal processes to be identified as such at the time of voting, and to allow instead mail-in and/or drop-off voting that could be (and then WAS) manually and electronically manipulated to throw the “election” to a doddering dictator wannabe. Why? Because for the previous four years America had been challenged to change (Make America Great Again) – and was in the process of being changed – back into something much closer to the vision of our Founding Fathers than we had experienced in over 160 years, under the leadership of a take-no-prisoners non-politician. THIS was the freedom-preserving reason for the First Amendment, and we collectively failed the challenge.

Quid Est Veritas? Ecce Homo!
- By W.H. Lamb
“Pilate said unto him, ‘What is truth?’ (quid est veritas?). And when he had said that, he went out again unto the Jews, and said unto them, ‘I find in him no cause at all.” - John 18:38- 1599 Geneva Bible
“Then came Jesus forth wearing a crown of thorns, and a purple garment. And Pilate said unto them, ‘Behold the man’” (ecce homo). - John 19:5- 1599 Geneva Bible
You know, in certain respects one almost feels sorry for Pontius Pilate, the Roman Procurator, or Governor, of the Roman Empire’s Province of Judea from 26 A.D. to 36 A.D. Judea, especially its capital, Jerusalem, was full of quarrelsome and troublesome Jews whom the Romans considered to be “religious fanatics”. Here was Pilate—the most powerful representative of Caesar’s government in Judea, who had a reputation for corruption and cruelty, supported by thousands of battle-hardened Roman soldiers who were all too willing to sink their short swords (the famous 20” Roman ‘gladius’) into the flesh of those pesky Jews—caught, in effect, between the rock of upholding Caesar’s laws—and not wanting to condemn Jesus-- and a hard place of placating a mob of fanatics threatening to start a riot at best, or complain to Caesar, at worst, that he-Pilate-was “coddling” a man who proclaimed that he was “king of the Jews”, thus violating one of their most sacred laws. That he was part of an eternal drama that had been conceived by our Heavenly Father in Eternity past, before time, space, and matter existed, was not remotely a part of his thinking that day. But Pilate was an “actor” in the most important drama that ever had or ever would happen in the universe—a drama that had been ordained by our Creator before there was a “universe”.
America's Nutty Professor of Anti-White Rage
- By Michelle Malkin
Brittney Cooper -- sorry, that's Dr. Brittney Cooper -- certainly takes the cake for the nation's worst tenured radical (at least for this week, until the next academic nutjob erupts).
Armed with a Bachelor of Arts in English and political science from Howard University and a doctorate in American Studies from Emory University, the Rutgers women's studies and Africana studies professor sure can holler. Cooper made headlines this week after her unrepentant hatred of white people went viral. Among the many dispassionate scholarly observations she shared with attendees of an online critical race theory conference were these:
House Progressives Detach From Reality
- By Star Parker
Rep. Cori Bush, a Democrat left-wing "squad" member in the House, attacked Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin for his opposition to the multitrillion-dollar Build Back Better Act.
Manchin is "anti-Black, anti-child, anti-woman and anti-immigrant," according to Bush because of his opposition to this megaspending welfare bill.
If Bush wants to identify politicians hurting Blacks, children, women and immigrants, she needn't go further than to look in the mirror.
The Wheels Are Coming Off the Biden Economy
- By Stephen Moore
A good friend who owns a major auto dealership in the Dallas area recently told me he typically has about 500 to 1,000 cars and trucks on his lot. Now, he has 15. That's how severe the supply chain problem has become.
He said people are buying cars over the sticker price. You usually haggle down the price for a new car. Now, you haggle up the price! Welcome to Bidenflation.
But now, the Commerce Department has reported that the high-flying U.S. economy with a 6.5% growth rate for the first half of this year has crash-landed in the third quarter with an anemic rate of just 2% growth. Those lousy numbers predate the supply chain crisis that emerged in October.

Is Failure Baked in the Cake at Glasgow?
- By Pat Buchanan
"Colossal Stakes as Leaders Meet to Talk Climate," ran the headline.
"The Last Best Hope," ran the subhead, which turned out to be a quote from President Joe Biden's climate czar John Kerry.
But these alarmist headings were not atop an editorial. They topped the lead news story in Sunday's New York Times, the opening line of which set the tone for Glasgow: "The future is on the line."
Somini Sengupta, climate reporter, then laid out the "colossal stakes" of the summit.
As America Teeters on Fiscal Disaster, Biden Worries about the Weather
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
"The House and Senate majorities and my presidency will be determined by what happens in the next week," said Joe Biden yesterday. He then flew to Europe to attend a climate change summit without waiting to learn that the U.S. House once again postponed votes on both the massive Build Government Bigger spending package and the accompanying infrastructure bill. That's the Biden presidency in a nutshell: promise sweeping change on tiny majorities, without enough discipline and focus to ensure results.

Taxpayer Tab Growing for ‘Boeing’ AG Project
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Hugh Weathers, South Carolina’s agriculture commissioner, dubbed the project as the “Boeing of agriculture.”
In touting the project in September 2020, Gov. Henry McMaster called it a “tremendous win for the local community and our state as a whole.”
Sonny Perdue, then-President Donald Trump’s agriculture secretary, cited the project as a potential national model.
But more than a year after the public announcement, there’s relatively little to show for the “Agriculture Technology Campus” – a proposed $314 million, produce greenhouse production, packaging and distribution complex in rural Hampton County, which is supposed to bring 1,547 jobs by 2025.
Ask Your Representative to Stop Democrats’ Socialist Reconciliation Package
- By Eagle Forum
House Democrats are putting their final touches on a massive spending bill based on Biden’s Build Back Better Agenda. This bill is so bad that Democrats loudly disagreed with parts of it which significantly slowed down its introduction. Now, House Speaker Pelosi is indicating that they have enough agreement to put the bill to a vote soon.
The $3.5 trillion package is chock full of Green New Deal policies, amnesty for illegal immigrants, Obamacare expansion, increased taxes, and creates a pathway to taxpayer-funded abortions. This socialist takeover is every American’s worst nightmare.
Democrats May Regret Messing With America's Moms
- By Neil Patel
We've all heard the story about the panicked mom summoning superhuman strength to lift a car off her trapped child. I'm not sure if it's ever really happened, but I am sure that any politician who interferes with a mother's ability to raise her children with the values she sees fit is playing with fire. The Democrats are holding the matches. Of all the radical ideas they've been trying to foist on America, messing with parents on K-12 education may be the one that does them in.
Democratic politicians have repeatedly failed to stand up to the "woke" crowd, the activist radical left wing of their own party. Remember the open borders question in the 2019 Democratic presidential primary debates? The moderators asked all the candidates to raise their hand if they wanted to decriminalize illegal border crossings. Almost every Democratic candidate raised a hand. Joe Biden was elected and took apart the Trump-era border policies that were working, and we now have record high levels of illegal border crossings and record low levels of arrests. Polls now show that opening the southern border isn't actually popular with regular Americans, and now it looks as if the Biden administration may be walking back its radical open-border position. Most prominently, the White House has announced plans to begin reinstating Trump's successful "Remain in Mexico" policy.
Life Legal Lawyers in Court Challenging New California Law Criminalizing Free Speech
- By Life Legal Defense Foundation
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Life Legal attorneys appeared remotely in federal court in San Jose on Wednesday to argue that a new California law severely restricting speech on public sidewalks is unconstitutional.
The law, SB 742 prohibits, among other things, "harassing," which is redefined as "knowingly approaching, without consent, within 30 feet of another person or occupied vehicle for the purpose of passing a leaflet or handbill to, displaying a sign to, or engaging in oral protest, education, or counseling with, that other person in a public way or on a sidewalk area."
SB 742 was enacted ostensibly to ensure that the public has access to COVID-19 vaccines without interference from protesters. However, legislators amended the law before it was passed to remove references to COVID vaccine sites, instead defining a "vaccination site" as a location offering any type of vaccine services, which includes Planned Parenthood and other abortion facilities that dispense Gardasil and other STD vaccines.

Number of SC Taxpayers Claiming Gas Tax Credit Continues to Drop
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Once again, the state’s chief revenue forecasters have grossly overestimated the popularity of an income tax credit that legislators created with the 2017 gas-tax-hike law.
In a Sept. 21 letter to Hartley Powell, director of the state Department of Revenue (DOR), Frank Rainwater, the S.C. Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Office (RFA) director, estimated that 68,350 taxpayers will have claimed a total of $4,273,721 in credits for tax year 2020, or an average credit of $62.52 per taxpayer. The actual total amount claimed for last year as of September this year was virtually the same as the estimate, DOR records show.
But the RFA initially predicted last year that for tax year 2020, 322,088 taxpayers – 253,738 more than its latest estimate – would claim a total of about $25.2 million in credits – nearly $21 million more than its latest forecast – or an average credit of $78.
Foundation Sues Virginia AG Mark Herring, Challenges New Virginia Statute
- By Christian Newswire
RICHMOND, Va. -- The Parental Rights Foundation, on behalf of a Virginia family, today sued Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring, challenging a new Virginia statute that says parents may not consider religion when hiring a babysitter.
Jane and Scott adopted their daughter, M.W., in 2015. Because M.W. has medical conditions, the couple has hired babysitters to help with her care for several hours each week, helping her get ready for school, driving her to and from school, and supervising her after school.
It is important to this family that the babysitters they hire share and support their beliefs as Christians. "We are Christians and are looking for a likeminded caregiver," they said regularly in advertisements for the position.
Who Decides What Kids Should Be Taught?
- By Pat Buchanan
Virginia is a newly blue state, with a Democratic governor and two Democratic senators, that Joe Biden won by 10 points.
Hence, former Gov. Terry McAuliffe was an early and solid favorite to regain the office he vacated in 2017. But if McAuliffe loses Tuesday, the defeat will be measured on the Richter scale.
For if he does lose, it will be because of an elitist belief McAuliffe blurted out during a debate with Republican rival Glenn Youngkin:
'Joe Biden is no more Catholic than is Lucifer,' says American Life League

Papal Advisor on Life Topics Says Pope Francis has Duty to Hold President Biden Accountable
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- "Joe Biden excommunicated himself almost 50 years ago," according to the American Life League President, who served as a three-time appointee to the Pontifical Academy for Life. "Pope Francis needs to hold Biden accountable and demand he spend every moment he has left on this earth publicly repenting and atoning for the evil of abortion that he has empowered."
"Judie Brown has served on the Pontifical Academy for Life in addition to being President of the American Life League," explained Jim Sedlak, Executive Director of the American Life League, which has been defending the life of the preborn for over four decades. Appointed twice by Pope Saint John Paul II and once by Pope Benedict XVI, Brown served the official papal academy in its dedicated mission to promoting the Roman Catholic church's respect for every human being's life.
How the White House Will Steal Christmas
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
The Grinch may have stiff competition in President Biden. Retailers, industry leaders and labor groups aren't sending their requests to the North Pole -- they are sending them to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, asking the president to push pause on the deadline for workers to comply with the COVID vaccine mandate, which has been set for December 8.
Christmas is the "biggest season" for businesses and retailers, Congressman Randy Weber (R-Texas) explained on "Washington Watch." They typically operate in the red for 11 months of the year and turn a profit (get "in the black") starting on Black Friday. Many businesses are already short-staffed after having had to compete all year with excessive unemployment benefits approved by Congress. Many already plan to hire additional workers to accommodate the rush of holiday shoppers. They fear a vaccine mandate would force workers to quit just when they need them most. In fact, in one survey, 30 percent of unvaccinated workers said they would leave their job over a vaccine mandate, while only 12 percent said they would be likely to get the vaccine.

Our Faith Under Fire Forms to Defend Religious Freedom in the U.S. Military
- By Our Faith Under Fire
RICHMOND, Va. -- In response to the increasing attacks on the religious freedom of members of the U.S. Armed Forces, Our Faith Under Fire launched today as a defender of that freedom.
"Our Faith Under Fire is the only community benefit organization committed to not only defending the religious freedom of our military service members and their families but also to addressing the issue at its source by supporting members of Congress who defend that freedom and opposing those who would deny our military this constitutionally protected fundamental right," said the Rt. Rev. Col. Derek Jones (USAF- Ret.), chairman of Our Faith Under Fire.
There is No 'Functioning' First Amendment in Washington, D.C. as Long as the US Capitol Continues to Prohibit Peaceful Free Speech Activities on the Capitol Grounds
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- The US Capitol Police are still denying all permits for peaceful First Amendment events on the grounds surrounding the US Capitol.
Over the past several months, Rev. Patrick Mahoney has been prohibited from conducting a Good Friday Service, National Day of Prayer Gathering, 4th of July Prayer Service, and a 20th Anniversary Remembrance and Prayer Vigil for 9/11.
In Rev. Mahoney's denied 9/11 permit, he requested to hold a, "Prayer vigil and remembrance for all those who perished on 9/11 and to pray for God's protection over America" on the grounds of the US Capitol.

Give America a New Birth of Freedom in Virginia
- By Star Parker
The joke goes that a slip of the tongue for a politician means that they accidentally said what they actually believe.
Now Democrats are trying to clean up the mess created by Virginia Democratic candidate for governor, Terry McAuliffe, when he said in a debate on Sept. 28, "I don't think parents should be telling schools what they should teach."
McAuliffe's 5-point lead over his opponent, Republican Glenn Youngkin, who has made parental control in education a central issue in his campaign, has disappeared.
Grant Napear's Life Matters
- By Michelle Malkin
Should a peaceful, law-abiding man of faith be punished in perpetuity for publicly proclaiming his heartfelt belief that "ALL LIVES MATTER ... EVERY SINGLE ONE"?
The question is not merely rhetorical. It is now a legal matter for a California court and jury to decide. Grant Napear, radio talk show host and former announcer for the Sacramento Kings basketball team, filed a lawsuit last week against his former employer, Bonneville International Corp., after the Utah-based media conglomerate threw him under the bus last spring to mollify the un-mollify-able Black Lives Matter mob.
What is a Freedom Pod?
- By Tom DeWeese
How do we effectively fight to restore liberty in America? Most think that just getting a president elected is the answer, but what if we lose that race? Or, what if we win the Presidency but lose the House of Representatives and the Senate? What chance do we then have to make any progress in restoring liberty? We have to live in the days after an election. We have to make our way forward in our lives. So, do we simply surrender and accept our fate? Or do we create a new path to protect and promote the ideals of freedom?
