All It Takes Is 1
- By Michelle Malkin
"One is the loneliest number," Three Dog Night famously sang over five decades ago. But all it takes is one brave soul fighting against the tide to inspire 10. Ten become hundreds. Hundreds become thousands. Thousands become millions. Millions become a new majority.
Riverside County, California, Sheriff Chad Bianco is one.
On Monday, Sheriff Bianco announced he "will not enforce the (COVID-19) vaccine mandate on Sheriff's Department employees.'' In response to a cascade of draconian state directives and the Biden administration's overt war on the unvaccinated, Bianco asserted his constitutional duty to protect the public "from the criminal element, as well as being the last line of defense from tyrannical government overreach." Local media and establishment public health "experts" have condemned Bianco, but he refuses to back down:
Democrats Spend Big, and We Pay, for Their Socialist Dream
- By Star Parker
In 1983, Tom Cruise starred in the film "Risky Business." It's about wealthy parents in Chicago who go on vacation and leave the house under the stewardship of their high school-age son.
In short order, the boy throws a wild party, and the rest of the film is about the chaotic fallout.
It's the closest thing I can think of to capture current reality in Washington as the kids -- the Democrats running the White House and Congress -- throw their big party and breathlessly spend their parents' money (in this case, our money), knowing that the party will be over when adults return.
The Presidential Prayer Team Kicks Off National Week of Prayer and Renewal
- By The Presidential Prayer Team
SCOTTSDALE, Az. -- Twenty years of The Presidential Prayer Team's daily calling of Americans to pray will culminate on Saturday, September 18.
The prayer team was born out of the urgency the nation experienced on September 11, 2001. As part of recognizing the work of the ministry and God's faithfulness, they launched the 2021 National Week of Prayer and Renewal (www.pray.team/prayerweek) on the anniversary of 9/11. Each day of this week of prayer has its own prayer focus. It began on 9/11 by calling for prayer and recognition for all first responders. Members of the prayer team across the nation submitted names of friends and families who serve to be included in the prayers of thousands of others.
Americans Should Be Working Hard, Not Hardly Working
- By Stephen Moore
The Labor Department reported this week that there are now a record 10.9 million jobs open in America. That's twice the size of the entire Ohio workforce.
Yet the department also has counted some 8 million unemployed Americans. What in the world is going on here? Why aren't the 8 million workers allegedly looking for a job filling any of the 10 million open jobs? Could it be they aren't looking very hard?
Job growth fell by more than half in August, which was partly because of COVID-19 concerns and the delta variant. But there is a lot more going on here.
Talibanned: Afghan Women Brace for a New, Restrictive Normal
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
When the Taliban swept through Kabul, stunning the world, leader Zabihullah Mujahid tried to soften the extremists' image. "We want to build the future and forget what happened in the past," he insisted. But forgetting will not come so easily for the West, who watched for years as hard-line Islamists brutalized their women and tortured non-conformists. Even now, reporters, former interpreters, and soldiers are being hunted down and massacred by death squads -- sparking plenty of doubts about a kinder, gentler Taliban.

Who and What Is Tearing the US Apart?
- By Pat Buchanan
In Shanksville, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, former President George W. Bush's theme was national unity -- and how it has been lost over these past 20 years.
"In the weeks and months following the 9/11 attacks," said Bush, "I was proud to lead an amazing, resilient, united people. When it comes to the unity of America, those days seem distant from our own. A malign force seems at work in our common life that turns every disagreement into an argument, and every argument into a clash of cultures."
Though he surely did not realize it, Bush had himself, moments before, given us an example of how that unity was destroyed when he drew a parallel between the terrorists of 9/11 and the Trump protesters of Jan 6. Said Bush:

The Left’s War on SCOTUS
- By Eagle Forum
The enactment of Texas’ Heartbeat Bill has again brought forth a panicked Left completely crazed with the thought of overturning Roe v. Wade.
This is nothing new for the Left. For many Democratic lawmakers and voters alike, Roe v. Wade is the defining moment for the nation’s women because it established a so-called “right to abortion.” Consequently, abortion is a hot-button topic in the Supreme Court of the United States. In the last twenty years, there have been multiple cases on differing states’ laws restricting abortion. In this coming term, the Court is set to hear Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. This case will decide whether pre-viability restrictions, like fetal pain, can prohibit elective abortions.
Chinese Whistleblower, Virologist and Vaccine Expert Dr. Li-Meng Yan Calls for Complete Transparency from Vaccine Makers and the Biden Administration on the Need for the COVID Booster Shot
- By Christian Newswire
NEW YORK -- As the Delta variant rages, the Biden Administration wants Americans to get a booster shot beginning September 20th. However, there is lingering doubt as CDC advisors called for more data to support the boosters. Compounding the uncertainty, two top FDA vaccine officials—Dr. Marion Gruber, Director, and Dr. Phil Krause, Deputy Director of the Office of Vaccines Research and Review—suddenly resigned.
"These sudden resignations and calls for more data are very troubling," says Dr. Li-Meng Yan. "It's very risky to issue a booster without the proper scientific understanding of the virus and its variants."
Removing Robert E. Lee
- By Mike Scruggs
An Appalling Villainy of Ignorance and Woke-provoked Hatred
On September 9, the Commonwealth of Virginia, under the leadership of radicalized-woke Democrat Governor Ralph Northam, removed the giant bronze statue of mounted Confederate General Robert E. Lee from its base in Richmond. The statue had been there since 1887. It will be replaced by something more appropriate for the Social Marxist stream of lies that dominate most of America’s academia, media, and political establishment. Many of their attacks are not simply ignorance but deliberate distortion and slander. Awash in joyful virtue-signaling and ignorance, NPR, CNN, NBC, the Washington Post, and Microsoft News, celebrated with an attack on Donald Trump, who praised Lee and was deeply critical of the removal:
“Robert E. Lee is considered by many Generals to be the greatest strategist of them all,” President Lincoln wanted him to command the North… Robert E. Lee instead chose the other side because of his great love of Virginia, and except for Gettysburg, would have won the war.”

Warning: A “Faux Pas” Will Get You “Cancelled” by Freedom’s Enemies - The Culture Moonbats!
- By W.H. Lamb
What, you may ask, is a social “faux pas”? Two dictionary definitions should suffice to explain:
- “An embarrassing or tactless act or remark in a social situation;
- A significant or embarrassing error or mistake—a blunder”
To which we might add my definition of a “political ‘faux pas’:
- Any verbal statement, political act, principled stand, support of the U.S. Constitution, defense of Christianity, or admitted vote for the ‘wrong’ candidate that offends the easily offended and brain damaged vermin of the left that have infested and infected the so-called ‘social media’.

Americans Must Stand Against Unconstitutional Vaccine Mandates and Restrictions
- By Truth and Liberty Coalition
WOODLAND PARK, Colo. -- In a stunning display of hubris and contempt for individual freedom as well as the conscience and convictions of his fellow citizens, Joe Biden has announced that he will issue an "executive order" requiring mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations across the land.
Striking at the core of the individual liberty of 100 million Americans, Biden announced that he will require that
- all federal employees and contractors must be vaccinated or else be terminated;
- all private employers with more than 100 workers must require their employees to get vaccinated or continuously produce negative test results as a condition of employment;
- all medical facilities receiving Medicare and Medicaid funds (nearly every health care facility in America) must force all employees to be vaccinated;
- All arenas and entertainment venues are being asked to require proof of vaccination (thus, embracing vaccine passports which his administration previously said they had no intention of doing).
- The federal government will apply financial and regulatory pressure to states to force schoolteachers to be vaccinated.
NGU's 'Influence felt' on new SBC website
- By LaVerne Howell - NGU
The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) has launched a new website, sbccalled.com. The website provides information, resources, and training for high school and college students who feel called to ministry. The site's 38 authors include several connected to North Greenville University (NGU).
"I think it's possibly the most helpful tool that the SBC has come up with to empower students who are exploring the 'call of God' on their lives," said NGU Director of Community Connection and Ministry Mobilization Joshua Gilmore ('05, MCM' 07).
SC Roads Get ‘D’ Grade as Major Repair Projects Remain Unfinished
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
South Carolina will need almost $43 billion more by 2040 to fix its bad roads and handle increased traffic with projected growth, according to the American Society of Civil Engineers, which gave the state’s roads a “D” grade in its annual infrastructure report card.
Meanwhile, the S.C. Department of Transportation continues to poke along in completing repaving and road reconstruction projects with $2 billion in revenues collected under the 2017 gas-tax-hike law – while sitting on a surplus that has surpassed $900 million, newly released agency records show.
The $903.5 million cash balance in a special fund created with the 2017 law was $226.3 million more than the total value of completed “pavements” projects statewide as of July 31, The Nerve found in a review of DOT records.

BJU Expanding School of Education
- By Randy Page - BJU
Bob Jones University President Steve Pettit announced today that the BJU School of Education is expanding its name to the School of Education and Human Services to better reflect its growing academic offerings.
“We’re adding to our programs in the Division of Educational, Child and Family Studies for students who want to work with children, youth and families outside a traditional classroom setting,” says Pettit.
New non-traditional program offerings prepare students to work in fields such as social and community services, youth sports and recreation, parent/family education, early care/child development, early intervention and special education services—fields which do not require teacher licensure. These programs provide opportunities to learn and serve in real-world settings guided by university and field-based mentors.
Texas Ensures All People, No Matter the Size, Deserve a Shot at Life
- By Eagle Forum
Pro-life allies across the country cheered as Texas signed into law a measure that protects the rights of the preborn. The Heartbeat Act, SB 8, took effect on September 1, 2021. It requires doctors to first search for a fetal heartbeat before performing an abortion. If a heartbeat is found, an abortion cannot be performed unless it is a medical emergency. In most cases, a fetal heartbeat is detected as early as 6 weeks gestational age.
The legislation allows any person the ability to sue an abortionist who violates the law, or anyone who aids or abets in an abortion. It’s important to note that these civil-liability provisions do not apply to the mother who desires or is able to maintain an unlawful abortion.
Recall of the Wild
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
If California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) had it to do over again, he might not be so quick to shut down churches. His lockdown legacy, one of hypocrisy and double standards, has made plenty of area Democrats regret his COVID strategy -- especially now that the most important job in California may be decided by the houses of worship he spurned. As a result of Newsom's heavy-handed approach to churches, local congregations are more engaged in state politics than ever -- and that's bad news for anyone in the governor's mansion who thought their jobs were safe.
20 Years after 9/11 -- Are We Better Off?
- By Pat Buchanan
When the hijacked planes hit the twin towers of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon that first 9/11, the Taliban were in control of Afghanistan and providing sanctuary for al-Qaida.
Today, the Taliban are in control of Afghanistan and providing sanctuary to al-Qaida. What then did our longest war accomplish?
The Afghan army and government we stood up and sustained for decades has collapsed. The U.S. military has withdrawn. U.S. citizens and thousands of Afghans who fought alongside us have been left behind.
Richard to keynote Constitution Day lecture at NGU
- By LaVerne Howell - NGU
Constitution Day is an American federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens. It is normally observed on September 17, the day in 1787 that delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed the document in Philadelphia.
To commemorate the day, North Greenville University (NGU) will hold a lecture given by Dr. Carl Richard, a professor of history at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 5:30 p.m. in the Hayes Visitors Center on the Tigerville Campus. The title of his lecture will be "What the Founders learned from the Greeks and The Romans."
Richard earned his Ph.D. in History from Vanderbilt University in 1988. His research interests include intellectual history, American history, and the history of ancient Greece and Rome.
How Wall Street Still Owns Washington, Even with the Socialists in Charge
- By Neil Patel
Democrats in Washington are still pushing ahead with plans for their historically astronomical $3.5 trillion spending bill. The massive regulatory and social changes included would push America further to the left than ever before. The reconciliation spending bill, which can be passed with no Republican votes in the House or Senate, includes a ton of tax increases along with the huge new spending increases. The proposal will reportedly raise the individual income tax rates and the corporate income tax rates. According to the most recent news reporting, however, one tax policy is going to make it through the huge left-wing agenda unchanged: the so-called carried interest loophole -- special low tax rates for Wall Street money managers.
The Coming Abortion Insurrection
- By Michelle Malkin
I told you it was coming. Back in May, on my show, "Sovereign Nation," I chronicled significant signs of pro-life progress that were driving death-lobby Democrats mad -- and I warned of a wave of intolerant tantrums to come as we hurtle into autumn. It's here.
In a 5-4 ruling last week, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to strike down the Texas heartbeat law protecting unborn babies as early as six weeks of age. This follows nationwide adoption of heartbeat laws and other abortion restrictions in so many state legislators that the left-wing Guttmacher Institute apocalyptically reported that "2021 is on track to become the most devastating antiabortion state legislative session in decades."
Black Women of Influence Take Public Stand Against Pastor & U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock
- By The Restoration Project
Several women recounted their calamitous experience with Planned Parenthood
ATLANTA -- The Restoration Project, a pro-life, pro-family, pro-education organization based in Georgia, today announced that African-American and Latina women, together with men, took a public stand on Saturday, September 4, 2021 in front of Ebenezer Baptist Church. They called on Raphael Warnock to change his strips, leave the Negro Project behind and begin protecting Black women in Georgia and the nation. Though abortion has been labeled health care in America, the vivid testimonies shared by several of the women exposed it as anything but. Instead, their experiences revealed a pattern of targeting Black women and their babies.
