Left-of-Century: Biden's 100 First Days
- By Press Release
Joe Biden hasn't even been president for 100 days, and it already feels like an eternity. In just three months, the man absurdly dubbed a "moderate" has emerged from his campaign basement and dispelled that notion -- to the delight of the party's radicals. He has embraced the far-Left's all-out war on every pillar of democracy. Shell-shocked, Americans have watched this White House spend us into insolvency, inflame our divides, and lead a charge to radically makeover the Supreme Court, our states' election laws, the U.S. Senate, immigration policy, religious freedom, and human biology. He's exceeded expectations to be sure -- just not in the way most voters had hoped.

The DC Statehood Power Grab
- By Pat Buchanan
"How many legs does a dog have if you call his tail a leg?" asked President Abraham Lincoln, who answered his own question:
"Four. Saying that a tail is a leg doesn't make it a leg."
And Congress' saying that D.C. is a state would equally contradict truth and reality, as our nation's capital lacks all of the attributes of a 51st state of the Union.
Whence came our capital of Washington, D.C.?
Wade Hampton III, Surviving in the “Prostrate State” – Part 6
- By Bob Dill - Publisher of The Times Examiner
General Wade Hampton and his Legion fought valiantly and Hampton, although suffering multiple wounds, survived the protracted war. The homeland, however had been subjected to the scorched-earth policy of President Lincoln carried out by General Sherman and his army of “foragers,” who took with them or destroyed everything they could find that was meaningful to the Hampton family and their neighbors. Although all of the eyewitnesses are now dead, they left a recorded history of the terror they experienced during the period from 1864 – 1876. In fact, some of the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of those eyewitnesses are alive today and recall the harrowing stories passed on to them by their ancestors.
Why Social Justice Is Not Biblical Justice
- By Mike Scruggs
Neo-Marxist Subversion of Christianity
Last year, 2020, Scott David Allen published an eye-opening and insightful book on the cultural Marxist subversion of Christian churches and institutions and Christian understanding of justice. Theologian Wayne Grudem called, Why Social Justice Is Not Biblical Justice, a truth-filled “warning about the deeply anti-Christian ideas behind much of the modern ‘social justice’ movement.”Baptist pastor Tom Ascol, president of Foundation Ministries, wrote that “The modern social justice movement is a Trojan Horse that is being welcomed into many evangelical camps with the kind of fanfare that would make the citizens of Troy blush. Under the pretense of loving one’s neighbor and pursuing justice, ideologies that are contrary to the way of Christ are being employed to set agendas for and shape the consciences of evangelicals. Because biblical words are being used, what the Bible means by those words is assumed and that [false] assumption is wreaking havoc on sound Christian thinking and healthy Christian living.”
Bible Translation Movement Eyes Scripture Access for All Deaf Sign Languages by 2033
- By illumiNations
DALLAS, Texas, -- A newly launched movement to make the Bible available in every language in the next 12 years is also aiming to reach 70 million Deaf people who use visual sign language to communicate.

For 70 million Deaf people globally, sign language is the first or only language they know and use every day. More than 350 unique sign languages for the Deaf are among the 3,800 languages that don't yet have a complete Bible translation.
SCDOT Denies Most Pothole-Damage Claims by Motorists
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Over the past three years, the S.C. Department of Transportation denied a total of nearly 2,300 pothole-damage claims filed by motorists statewide – more than half of all such requests received during the period, The Nerve found in a review of agency records.
Motorists collectively sought more than $4.8 million in 4,325 pothole-damage claims received by DOT from 2018 through last year, with listed settlements totaling $802,609, or 16.5% of the overall requested total, according to the records, obtained under the S.C. Freedom of Information Act.
Onward Christian Soldiers?
- By W.H. Lamb
I’m certain that most folks who consider themselves to be “Christians” are familiar with that venerable old hymn, “Onward Christian Soldiers” (1871), with those inspiring words by Rev. Sabine Baring-Gould (1834-1924) and the great music by Arthur Sullivan (1842-1900); (yes, the same Sullivan of “Gilbert & Sullivan” operettas fame). There was a time in America—a time that seems to have just about disappeared—when Christians loved to sing hymns with a “military” theme. Most of us know them: Stand Up For Jesus, You Soldiers of the Cross; or Soldiers of Christ Arise. Sadly, many modern hymn books no longer contain hymns like these that portray Christians as “soldiers of the Cross”. In fact, in some denominations and in some other nations, the singing of “Onward Christian Soldiers” has been forbidden by the wimps of their dying Christian (in name only) churches as “too militant”, “too unloving”, “too un-Christ-like”.
Justice for George Floyd Should Turn Our Eyes to the Babies
- By Alveda King
Racism – A socially engineered concept based upon the false premise that there are separate races of human beings. One is a racist when one believes himself to be part of a distinctly separate race of the human species. This concept of racial separatism has no basis in scientific evidence.
"We must learn to live together as brothers [and sisters], or perish together as fools." Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Tuesday, a panel of jurors found ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin guilty on all three charges in connection with the murder of George Floyd, a 46-year-old Black man, who died on May 25, 2020 after Chauvin held his knee against his neck or upper body for nine minutes and 29 seconds, as a handcuffed Floyd repeatedly said: "I can't breathe."

SALTY SEZ – The Gift
- By Ray Simmons
It’s getting downright difficult to find a truthful website these days. It seems everybody wants to talk about the Covid virus and the several vaccines supposedly treating it. Hardly anybody calls the vaccines experimental – which is what all of them are. One thing you don’t hear about on-line or in the news is the real pandemic affecting our world, you just might hear a Pastor or two calling attention to it. It’s world-wide, touching every country and every person in some way or another. It’s the pandemic of SIN, and there’s only one vaccine that can cure it, His name is Jesus Christ. When you think about it, it’s far worse than Covid-19, or any other virus out there.
GOP to Planned Parenthood: Mind Your Loan Business
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
There are lots of ways to describe a business with $2 billion dollars in assets -- but "charity" isn't one of them. And yet, that's how Democrats must see Planned Parenthood, the "nonprofit" that just took in its biggest taxpayer-funded haul in history: $618 million dollars. Now, as if that weren't enough, they've stuck out their hand for more -- trying to cash in on the pandemic relief that clearly meant for small businesses. Well, Planned Parenthood isn't "small" and isn't eligible. And if the country's abortion tycoon doesn't give the money back, Senate Republicans want the government to come and take it.
Regular Americans Are Not Going to Fall for the Left's Cynical Politics of Racial Division
- By Neil Patel
The left and the right have been battling it out for months over who can freak out average Americans the most. Regular Americans were definitely not impressed by the photos of team QAnon in capes and horn helmets posing in the U.S. Capitol. Normal Americans may be mad at Washington, but they love our country and don't want to see national monuments turned into a freak party. People had the same reaction when angry left-wing rioters defaced war monuments to our nation's heroes in Washington last summer.
The Left's Systemic Exploitation of Race
- By David Limbaugh
When I occasionally complain about the left politicizing race, fellow conservatives often say to me, "Don't worry about this. They've lost all credibility on the issue, trivializing it by overuse. They're getting no traction with it." Oh?
You'd have to be blind and deaf to deny that this tactic is working for the left politically and that it has caused great harm. Democrats and the left bring up race every five minutes to demonize Republicans and profit politically. It is nothing more than a raw power grab.
Is America Led Today By Anti-Americans?
- By Pat Buchanan
How can America unite again to do great things if we are led by people who believe America suffers from a great sickness of the soul, an original sin that dates back to her birth as a nation?
Consider.
After his long night of prayer for "the right verdict" to be pronounced -- Derek Chauvin was convicted on all three counts -- Joe Biden stepped before the White House cameras to tell us what it all meant.
George Floyd's death, said Biden, "was a murder in the full light of day, and it ripped the blinders off for the whole world to see the systemic racism... that is a stain on our nation's soul -- the knee on the neck of justice for Black Americans."
House Dems Pass Marijuana Bill
- By Eagle Forum
Tuesday was April 20th, the unofficial holiday of cannabis culture. According to the Delaware Online, “The number 420 has become a secret code among potential roommates and people on dating websites, a way to covertly let someone know that they welcome marijuana into their home or love life.
Unfortunately, legalizing marijuana has long been on the agenda for House democrats. And, on the week of 4/20, it’s no surprise the House majority attempted to slide in a marijuana bill through suspension vote. Under suspension, a bill passes via unanimous consent or voice vote. It’s typically reserved for bills that are not controversial, but that’s not always the case.
Dangerous New Caliphate Emerges in Africa; Extremist Group Boko Haram Responsible for World's Highest Rate of Religious Violence, Reports Open Doors USA
- By Open Doors USA
SANTA ANA, Calif. -- Nigeria hosts the highest rate of religiously-motivated violence in the world, and, according to religious freedom watchdog group Open Doors USA, a new caliphate is emerging in the region of Sub-Saharan Africa.
"The pattern of extremist attacks in this region strikes an alarmingly similar tone to the beginnings of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. Without a concentrated effort to counter its spread, we can only expect the new Islamic State to become more dangerous," said David Curry, CEO of Open Doors USA.

Wade Hampton III: Combat - Part 5
- By Bob Dill - Publisher of The Times Examiner
General Wade Hampton III stands alone as one of the greatest warriors of all time. General Hampton was wounded more than five times in the service of his country. He raised troops, arms and money for the service of the Confederacy. He lost his fortune, home and a son as a result of his unselfish devotion to his countrymen. He did not however lose a major engagement in the face of the enemy while in command of a group of fighting men. Confederate History is American History and Wade Hampton III is truly one of the greatest Americans of all time.
Wade Hampton entered the Confederate States service shortly after the bombardment of Fort Sumter in Charleston, South Carolina, April 12, 1861. Hampton traveled to Charleston to personally recruit men for his Legion and the Confederacy. He paid for newspapers to publish calls for volunteers around the State. He was concerned that he was too late to recruit as calls went out after secession for volunteers to enter service in the South Carolina Militia. Hampton interviewed men from the Army, Navy, the Citadel Cadets and civilian life for his recruitment. In seven days he had more men than he could use.
Lawmakers Pushing for More Power in Home Counties
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
State lawmakers are continuing to push bills that would increase legislative delegations’ powers over local K-12 schools and other public agencies in their home counties.
Today, for example, the House Education and Public Works Committee, chaired by Rep. Rita Allison, R-Spartanburg, is scheduled to consider a Senate bill that would allow a legislative delegation – made up of senators and House members in a county – to control the appointment of an interim local school board if a popularly elected board is dissolved following an approved “state-of-education emergency.”
Astroturfing COVID Agitprop
- By Michelle Malkin
Attention, parents: If your children are online, they are being bombarded by an inescapable public relations campaign by all the Bigs -- Big Pharma, Big Government and Big Tech -- to brainwash them about the COVID vaccine.
While children under 18 remain at the lowest risk of COVID-19, peer pressure to get the experimental jabs is enormous. That groupthink is compounded by relentless messaging from politicians, celebrities and social media influencers posting virtue-signaling photos of themselves flaunting their arm Band-Aids and immunization papers. The playing field is rigged by internet titans who ban all dissenters and label all skepticism as "misinformation" or "conspiracy theory." It's mass agitation and propaganda -- agitatsiya -- that would make the old Soviet Marxists proud.
A Border Boiling Over
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
When the 10 Republican lawmakers arrived before midnight to tour the migrant holding facility in Donna, Texas, they were shocked by what they saw. "The migrants, dirty and exhausted, were sitting in row after row. Almost all were silent. The 'facility' was mostly benches, a line of porta-potties, some basic supplies, and a trailer with the sign MOBILE DENTAL UNIT," wrote the Washington Examiner's Byron York. Some migrants had endured a 40-day journey from Honduras. Many had hiked miles through rough terrain in the dead of night, from where smugglers left them to where American border guards picked them up. In March, border guards encountered 172,331 unaccompanied minors, family units, and single adults on the southern border, and the flood keeps on coming. And yet still, Democrats still insist: there is no crisis.

Sin of Planned Parenthood Is Abortion, Not Margaret Sanger
- By Star Parker
The president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Alexis McGill Johnson, has used The New York Times as a confessional to fess up to the racist history of Planned Parenthood's founder, Margaret Sanger.
"We must reckon with Margaret Sanger's association with white supremacist groups and eugenics," she writes.
Sanger's involvement with the notoriously racist eugenics movement in the 1920s, and her population-control motivations to limit the procreation of "undesirables," is something pro-lifers, particularly black pro-lifers, have been writing about for years.

Russia Massing Troops on Ukraine Border
- By Mike Scruggs
Background on the Ongoing Turmoil in Eastern Ukraine
The population of the Ukraine is about 42 million. Of that 42 million, 78 percent are ethnic Ukrainians, and 17 percent are ethnic Russians. About 23 percent of Ukrainians consider Russian to be their main language. Both Russian and Ukrainian are similar East Slavic languages. Likewise, the genetic DNA mix of Russia and Ukraine are similar. Christianity survived Soviet Communism and is growing rapidly. According to a 2018 Razumkov survey, about 72 percent of Ukrainians identify as Christians. Most, 67 percent, identify as Ukrainian or Russian Orthodox. Orthodox Patriarchates are divided between cultural connections to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, and Moscow. About 13 percent are specifically oriented to the Moscow Patriarchate. Most of the Russian ethnic population is located in the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine bordering Russia. Several areas in the Donbass region have pro-Russian separatist majorities. These are centered in the cities and regional administrations (oblasts) of Donetsk and Luhansk, which are sometimes referred to as the Donetsk and Luhansk republics.- China, Russia Movements Major Test for Biden
