2A for Today Coming Soon!
- By Zoe Warren - The New American
Your right to keep and bear arms is under assault from those who seek to subjugate and tyrannize the American people.
But as James Madison, the “Father of the Constitution,” warned, a tyrannical government can only succeed “with a standing army, an enslaved press, and a disarmed population.”
Starting this Wednesday, join filmmaker Zoe Warren as he explores the Second Amendment and explains with expert guests and insightful analysis the continuing central importance of the 2A Today.
Brought to you exclusively by The New American Magazine, the only publication in the world dedicated to the proposition “That Freedom Shall Not Perish.”
Dems Race Awareness of Hypocrisy with Scott Smear
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Thanks to Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.), we finally found all of those racists Joe Biden keeps talking about. They're on the Left, right under the president's nose. After Scott's inspirational response to the president's speech Wednesday night, we didn't have long to wait before the real party of intolerance came crawling out of its hole and attacked. In one of the most vile displays of hypocrisy, Democrats have apparently decided that it's okay to be prejudiced -- as long as the black man is a conservative.
South Carolina State Convention will be a Donnybrook
- By Michael LaPierre
The South Carolina State Convention is going to be aDonnybrook! While I do NOT expect, and do NOT condone intimidation, violence, and subversively disturbing the peaceful and orderly flow of discussion anddebate, I can assure you that PATRIOT voices WILL be heard in Columbia at ourState Convention. PATRIOTS are on the move and our voices will NOT be silenced.
If Drew McKissick thinks for one minute that hecan "weaponize" Robert's Rules of Order to control the RepublicanParty State Convention narrative, drown out the voices of conservative PATRIOTS,and tamp down the overwhelming DEVOTION that we have to the principles found inthe Republican Party Platform, he is grossly mistaken and the State Chair of fantasyland.

Misinformation on Hamburgers is a Joke Compared With the Media's Misinformation on Climate
- By Neil Patel
The left had a lot of fun this week mocking a false claim in some conservative circles that President Joe Biden was planning on limiting hamburger consumption. There are a few lessons in all of this. The first is obvious and has been driven home in the corporate media: Conservatives need to be more careful on the facts. By taking liberties on the potential costs of Biden's climate goals, conservatives walked into a hailstorm of criticism that could easily have been avoided.
The second and more important lesson is that the hamburger misinformation pales in comparison to the corporate media's misinformation on Biden's climate targets. Biden has proposed cutting U.S. emissions by 50% below 2005 levels by 2030. This is double the hugely ambitious target set by former President Barack Obama in 2015.
Dems Want to Control All 3 Branches
- By Eagle Forum
In the 1930s, four Supreme Court Justices had the ability to strike down President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s “New Deal.” As “Smithsonian Magazine” reports, “They were referred to in the press as “the Four Horsemen,” after the allegorical figures of the Apocalypse associated with death and destruction. In the spring of 1935, a fifth justice, Hoover-appointee Owen Roberts — at 60 the youngest man on the Supreme Court — began casting his swing vote with them to create a conservative majority.”
Team Biden Intends to Never Let Its Manufactured Crises Go to Waste
- By David Limbaugh
My major takeaway from President Biden's joint address to Congress is that he and his handlers are continuing to employ the Democrats' primary strategy from the Obama years: Never let a crisis go to waste.
To scare the American people into accepting his reckless spending proposals, Biden is leveraging the pandemic, which means he is framing it as still hot, raging and dangerous, while immodestly taking undeserved credit for the progress that we've made.
SALTY SEZ – America’s Stonehenge?
- By Ray Simmons
There’s a place in Georgia that you may not have heard about, and the things happening in America today kinda reminded me about that site, which I visited several years ago. Back then hardly anybody I questioned had heard of the area in Elbert County Georgia, about seven miles north of Elberton on Georgia highway 77. The Georgia Guidestones, as it has been named, is a set of granite slabs rising to a height of near 20 feet. Slabs display a 10 point message espousing the conservation of mankind and future generations in 8 languages, English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese and Russian. The capstone has writing on the four edges in four ancient languages, Babylonian cuneiform, Classical Greek, Sanskrit and Egyptian Hieroglyphics. The unit also serves as an astronomical calendar: every day at noon the sun shines through a narrow hole on the structure and illuminates the day’s date on an engraving. In 1980 the stones were finished and put in place. They carry a tablet in front proclaiming, “Let these be guidestones to an Age of Reason.” I seem to recall that the French revolution was based on reason and you know how that turned out. To this date no one knows who the sponsors were. Guesses have been voiced but I’ll not repeat them. The name shown is R. C. Christian, a known pseudonym. In agreement with the contract all plans were destroyed once the project was completed.
NGU Recognizes Academic Achievement
- By LaVerne Howell - NGU
North Greenville University (NGU) has released award recipients for the 2020-21 academic year recognizing students' academic achievements. NGU pays tribute to its gifted scholars and those who supported the students through their academic journey. The university wants to thank the parents, family members, mentors, and friends who have supported these students in so many ways during this challenging academic year. Without sacrifices and determination from their support system, these students could not be successful.
Georgia’s Voting Law: AN ELECTION-INTEGRITY WARNING
- By Peter Rykowski - The New American
In response to the numerous weaknesses in Georgia’s election laws and the many credible claims of fraud in the 2020 elections, the state claimed it fixed its laws. It didn’t do that.
Election integrity is one of the top legislative priorities this year in statehouses across the nation, at least in those controlled by Republicans.
According to the left-wing Brennan Center, which closely tracks election-related legislation in all 50 states, 361 election-integrity bills had been introduced in 47 states this year by March 24, an increase of more than 100 from a month prior. Furthermore, 55 of those bills, in 24 states, were moving through their respective legislatures, while four states —Arkansas, Georgia, Iowa, and Utah — had already enacted pro-integrity bills. These numbers indicate an unusually strong level of interest in the subject, and since late March the number of bills has certainly risen.
Senators Pushing Plenty of Pork Pprojects Through Taxpayer-Funded Earmarks
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
S.C. senators want to spend nearly $108 million next fiscal year on dozens of pet projects by funneling the money through state agencies that typically didn’t request the public dollars.
More than half of the $107.9 million in labeled earmarks for fiscal year 2022, which starts July 1, would be spent collectively on a new Greenville convention center, renovations to the Columbia Convention Center and Sumter Opera House, and unspecified infrastructure projects in Spartanburg, according to an earmark list released under a new Senate rule requiring public disclosure.
The Nerve for years has reported about Senate and House earmarks – and the lack of transparency and public input on the spending requests.
Support the Police
- By Gene Kizer, Jr., Charleston Athenaeum Press
Law and Order Will Cause the South to Ascend to National Dominance - Florida Is a Great Example
SOUTHERN STATE LEGISLATURES should immediately pass strong resolutions supporting the police and back it up with legislation designed to train them to be the best, and give them the equipment they need to make their jobs safer and more effective.
Qualified immunity should be strengthened, and it should be made clear that it will always be there because we appreciate the hard job our police do every single day when they put their lives on the line to protect us.
The idiotic states that have been attacking the police the hardest with defund the police efforts and other ways to harass and hamstring the police are examples of a civilization in a death spiral. It's leaders are leftist ideologues who have lost their common sense if they ever had any. They are weak like the cowardly, feckless mayor of Portland, Oregon, Ted Wheeler.
Red States Get Seat Revenge in Census
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
There's more than one way to get good government: move to it! According to the latest Census data, that's what a massive number of Americans who are sick of higher taxes, lockdowns, and regulations are doing. In other words, there's more than one set of migrant caravans in North America -- and the legal ones are pulling up to homes in places like California and New York, loading up the belongings of thousands of families and driving them to freer, cheaper states like Texas. You don't just have to vote at the ballot box, Chuck DeVore points out. You can vote with a U-Haul too.
America's First Inauguration Celebrated
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- Today Reverend Merrie Turner, Hostess of the "Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast" stated, "We celebrate this providential date of April 30th of the first Inauguration of an American President, when George Washington was elected as Commander in Chief of the United States of America at Federal Hall in New York City in 1789."
The sacred occasion merits reflection on both the International interference of the American Election Process in 2020 and the organized election fraud which is presently being investigated and contested in the State Courts. Clearly the Office of the Presidency is being restored as We the People continue to Appeal to Heaven for the faithful intervention of God Almighty, whose hand has always guided and providentially protected America.
Kerrying Favor with the Ayatollahs
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
In an audio recording leaked to a London-based news channel, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif explains that he learned of "at least" 200 Israeli attacks on Iranian targets in Syria, not from security personnel in his own government, but from former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. As Obama's top U.S. diplomat, Kerry who inked the agreement whereby we subsidized Iran's sponsorship of global terror and they pretended not to illegally advance their nuclear weapons program. Kerry continued to meet with Zarif even after he lost his official role. You might recall that during the same time (mid-2018), the media was busy pointing out that U.S. law prohibits private citizens from communicating with foreign governments, not as it applied to John Kerry, but as a way to persecute former Trump associates.

Anti-Censorship Legislation: Get It Right
- By Michelle Malkin
Larry the Cable Guy made the phrase "Git-R-Done" his signature. A new breed of young Republicans and populists has its own message for their establishment elders: Get it right.
This new strategic alliance refuses to clap like trained GOP seals at any shiny vehicle masquerading as a free speech rescue because their very lives and livelihoods are on the line. This is not a drill.
In Florida, conservative GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis has earned lavish praise and attention for backing anti-censorship legislation that he claims will reign in Big Tech's power to exercise "clear viewpoint discrimination." Among the DeSantis-backed statehouse bill's key features: fines of between $25,000 and $250,000 per day for social media platforms that "censor, shadow ban, deplatform, or apply post-prioritization algorithms" to Florida candidates, users or residents; a ban on public contracts with social media entities found guilty or civilly liable for antitrust violation; and requirements to disclose standards and definitions used by the tech overlords to censor and stifle dissidents.

Police Reform and Personal Responsibility
- By Star Parker
It is indeed rare, if not unprecedented, to see a highly diverse group of organizations such as the conservative Alliance Defending Freedom, the liberal American Civil Liberties Union, the libertarian Cato Institute and the Reason Foundation on the same page as the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund on the same issue.
But it is happening as the U.S. Senate takes up police reform. The issue is a legal doctrine known as qualified immunity.
These diverse organizations all agree that qualified immunity is bad law and should end.

Girls Deserve Fair Play
- By Eagle Forum
Sexual orientation and gender identity seem to permeate every aspect of our lives and targeting girls in sports. As states hurry to pass legislation protecting girls’, transgender activists are loudly opposing those efforts.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Board of Governors who manages student-athletes at the college level recently released a statement bowing to the left. While they reiterated their support for transgender athletes without taking a firm stance on biological men playing in the women’s category, they also explained that they would only choose locations free from discrimination. We can draw from this language that they are alluding to the fact that they will boycott states that have passed legislation to keep biological men from playing in women’s sports.
Left-of-Century: Biden's 100 First Days
- By Press Release
Joe Biden hasn't even been president for 100 days, and it already feels like an eternity. In just three months, the man absurdly dubbed a "moderate" has emerged from his campaign basement and dispelled that notion -- to the delight of the party's radicals. He has embraced the far-Left's all-out war on every pillar of democracy. Shell-shocked, Americans have watched this White House spend us into insolvency, inflame our divides, and lead a charge to radically makeover the Supreme Court, our states' election laws, the U.S. Senate, immigration policy, religious freedom, and human biology. He's exceeded expectations to be sure -- just not in the way most voters had hoped.
