I am convinced that we are currently living in the most dangerous time in the lives of everyone living today.
For the first time in the history of our republic, we have dangerous enemies with access to nuclear, chemical and biological weapons both outside and inside our porous borders. It is important to remember, however, that a dedicated Communist with a sharp stick of bamboo or a radical follower of Islam with a can of gasoline or a long knife can kill Americans and others they have been trained to hate. They are just as dead as if they were incinerated by a nuclear weapon, poisoned with chemicals or destroyed by disease intentionally spread.
The several states created the federal government with the primary mission of protecting the people from enemies both foreign and domestic. The founders provided specific instructions for the federal government in the Constitution of the United States of America.
Gradually through the years the American people have been deceived and tricked into electing people to protect and defend the Constitution who have systematically eroded its provisions. We now have a President who has publicly stated he does not respect the provisions of the Constitution and ignores it in his decision making.
This is not the first time Americans have elected such a person to lead the nation. In an earlier time President Woodrow Wilson attempted to subvert the Constitution. He failed because at that time the American public as a whole was better educated, more familiar with our founding documents, and they reversed his efforts quickly. During the century since Wilson was president, the Progressives of his time became the radicals of the 1960s and the students of Sol Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. They got a haircut, put on a suit and tie and became congressmen, college presidents, cabinet members, CEOs of non-profit foundations, distributors of wealth and now President of the United States.
Many of our fellow Americans who have convinced themselves that they have good intentions continue to sit on the sidelines and allow enemy forces to prevail. The real patriots and Bible believing Christians are stepping forward and taking a bold stand.
Recently Dr. David Barton, founder of the WALLBUILDER organization, said emphatically that he refuses “to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe are the embodiment of Evil!”
Dr. Barton said he wants to make it clear to all who will listen that despite urging from both Democrats and Republicans, he is “not uniting behind Obama.”
“I will respect the Office which he holds, and I will acknowledge his abilities as an orator and wordsmith and pray for him, But that is it. I have begun today to see what I can do to make sure that he is a one-term president!”
Dr. Barton said he is taking this stand because he does not share:
Obama’s vision or value system for America
His abortion beliefs
His radical Marxist’s concept of re-distribution of wealth
His stated views on raising taxes on those who make $150,000 +
His view that America is arrogant
His view that America is not a Christian nation
His view that the military should be reduced by 25 percent
His view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than our American citizens who need help
His views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage
His views that Radical Islam is our friend and Israel is our enemy who should give up any land
His strategic views of the Middle east
His beliefs on how to re-work the healthcare system in America and
His plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran.
Dr. Barton concluded by saying he intends to be “a thorn in the side of those who, if left unchecked, will destroy our country! I pray that the results of this election will wake up many who have sat on the sidelines and allowed the Socialist-Marxist anti-God crowd to slowly change so much of what has been good in America.”
