North Greenville University Department of Campus Security recognized for second consecutive year as a Top 500 Security Enterprise by “Security Magazine.”

For the second consecutive year, North Greenville University (NGU) Department of Campus Security has been recognized by “Security Magazine” as a top security enterprise for 2020.

The annual Security 500 report showcases the security profession's leaders and their organizations, in addition to biggest challenges and targets for where billions of dollars will be invested to manage enterprise risk and improve security as identified in the annual Security 500 Survey. Security organizations are ranked based on security budget and spending, accomplishments, and future initiatives.

Also, NGU Campus Security Chief Rick Morris was recognized in Washington, DC, on Monday, Nov. 18, as one of 26 security leaders for the Most Influential in Security Award for 2019. These 26 top security executives and industry leaders are recognized for positively impacting the security field, their organization, their colleagues and peers, and the national and global security landscape.

The recent ranking makes the sixth time in the past two years that the department has been recognized on the national level. Morris was named National Association of Campus Safety Administrators Director of the Year in 2018, “Campus Safety Magazine” Director of the Year top ten, the Most Influential in Security Award for 2019, and the Campus Security Department was named to the 2018 and 2019 “Security Magazine” 500 rankings, and Niche 2020 Best Colleges in America A+ safety rating.NGU Ranks Among the Top Criminal Justice Degree Programs in the U.S.
