Tigerville, SC - Bill Reeves, CEO of the Christian radio network Educational Media Foundation (EMF), is tapped as the keynote commencement speaker for North Greenville University's (NGU) spring commencement. The ceremony will be held in Younts Stadium on Friday, April 30, on the NGU Tigerville Campus.

EMF is the parent company of K-LOVE and Air1—the nation's largest contemporary Christian music radio networks. As of 2020, EMF directly owns and operates on more than 1,000 signals across all 50 states. The organization is also among the top 10 U.S.-based audio streaming companies. In 2020, EMF launched AccessMore, a Christian podcast network. It also oversees WTA Media, a leader in faith-based films and publishing.

"NGU is holy ground for Bill. He attended Centrifuge summer camp on our campus as a high schooler where he had a very special encounter with Christ," said NGU President Dr. Gene C. Fant, Jr. "He told me he could take me to the rock where God called him to the unique career he has had connecting faith and the arts. Much of his work has provided the soundtrack and the visual culture for almost two generations of Christians, including this year's graduates."

Reeves has extensive experience in the Christian product industry since 1988 in Christian retail roles, then with Word Entertainment/Warner in distribution support for recording artists such as Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith. At Big Idea Productions, Reeves led Christian retail product licensing and distribution for the successful VeggieTales® brand and worked on the theatrical release of Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie.

During his tenure at Thomas Nelson Publishers/HarperCollins, he served as executive producer of several children's video properties, including Max Lucado's "Hermie & Friends" ® series. As vice president of marketing for Propeller Consulting, he participated in the marketing launches of leading faith-based films such as FireproofCourageous, and Soul Surfer. He led the consumer products campaigns for the Kendrick Brothers' films, including serving as the agent for the New York Times #1 best-selling book, "The Love Dare," and many other charting books.

In 2009, Reeves launched Working Title Agency, later to become WTA Media, to develop his business where he has led the marketing campaigns for such films as 90 Minutes in Heaven, The Ultimate Life, and God's Not Dead. The agency has also steered the release of films such as Heaven is for Real, War Room, and I Can Only Imagine. He has spoken at Sundance Film Festival, Christian Worldview Film Festival, and Sunscreen Film Festival.
