Exactly 40 years ago (as I write this) President Ronald Reagan made one of his great State of the Union addresses. His closing remarks need to be reviewed:
We cannot escape our destiny, nor should we try to do so. The leadership of the free world was thrust upon us two centuries ago in that little hall of Philadelphia. In the days following World War II, when the economic strength and power of America was all that stood between the world and the return to the dark ages, Pope Pius XII said, “The American people have a great genius for splendid and unselfish actions. Into the hands of America God has placed the destinies of an afflicted mankind.”
To paraphrase, Pope Pius XII (and millions of others, including Abraham Lincoln) saw the United States of America as the last best hope of all mankind. Is that still true today? It should be. It is our destiny to be. But the greatest tragedy that has ever hit this planet is nearly canceling our role in world affairs. It is time to stop mincing words. It is time to ignore the limits of political correctness and tell the truth, and let the chips fall where they may.
The Democratic Party has an entirely different view of the destiny of this country. They view themselves as the only geniuses, and all the rest of us are dumb sheep who can and should be manipulated into being their slaves. They will be in total control and we will be helpless to do anything about it. To achieve this goal they have sold their souls to the devil, and he has given them supernatural power. Using lies, fraud, theft, robbery, assassinations, and every tool of Satan, they have gained control of America’s public schools, colleges, universities, federal courts, the FBI, CIA, DOJ, IRS, FEMA, BATF, NSA, Senate, White House, and the majority of news outlets. And they have been making war against any and all who disagree with them. Yes, I said WAR. Dirty war. And they escape blame by constantly accusing others of doing what they - are doing. Let’s look at four examples:
Who wants to push granny over the cliff? They do, by setting up death panels to administer euthanasia. They do, by promoting inflation that reduces granny’s purchasing power of her limited, fixed income. They do, by raising minimum wages until there are no jobs left for the elderly (or the teens). But they accuse the Republicans.
Who wants dirty air and water? They do, because it creates a crisis that they can use to expand the size and power of the federal government. But they accuse the Republicans.
Who is making war on women? They are, by creating economic conditions that make marriage undesirable. They are, by creating economic conditions that make child bearing and child rearing so difficult and expensive many women are afraid to attempt what they are inherently configured to do so well, cheating them of the most fulfilling experiences this life can afford. They are, by teaching our youth that women are nothing unless they enter a man’s world and achieve more success than men do in it, and make the same or more salary as the men in it. They do, by demeaning marriage until some women decide never to lower themselves to such. They do, by demonizing men, with a double negative effect: some men become like demons because they have come to think this is normal for men; and some women become convinced that all men are lazy, worthless bums. But they accuse the Republicans.
Who shuts down the government to achieve a political party goal at the expense of the entire country? They do. The Republicans write budgets that eliminate some waste and duplication in order to restore fiscal sanity, and the Democrats refuse to even consider them. The Democrats insist that the debt ceiling must be lifted (when we are already insanely in debt; that’s why-we have a debt ceiling) and the Democrats must be allowed to rob the public and spend their money without restrictions or they will shut down the government and blame the Republicans. So they have shut it down twice, and blamed the Republicans. And they shamelessly rob the law abiding citizens and waste their money and blame the Republicans.
Some Republicans are still trying to be nice and get along with the Democrats. They talk of compromise and bi-partisan legislation. It will never work Why? Because the Democrats are “going for the jugular”. Just like the Arabs, who intend to annihilate the Jews, the Democrats intend to annihilate the Republicans. There is no tactic, legal or illegal, clean or dirty, that they will not use. In the process they will also destroy the country, but they do not care. They demand total control of this country, even if gaining it causes there to be nothing left worth controlling. Since the United States is the last best hope of all mankind, the unbelievably selfish Democrats are also destroying the world, but they do not care.
‘This is war. Don’t act as if you have not been warned. Now, what will you do about it? What will we do about it?
