First off, I would like to say thank-you to those of you who were able to come out to the TEA Party on April 17th at the Bi-Lo Center. We really appreciated it!   We know God is sovereign and that He is still in control; He has blessed America over the past 400 years, but we have been commanded to be, and must remain faithfully occupied. We have watched America give over our freedoms right in front of the people.

Don't you realize this is important? This affects you, your children and grandchildren... the future of America.

As Voddie Baucham stated, "You don't plant a tree for your own shade and protection ... You plant it for those who come after you."Our founding fathers didn't just fight for themselves, they fought for you and for me.  How can we dare refuse to stand? My generation will not experience the kind of life that our parents did. It is cowardice and selfish to remain apathetic. Please help us fight back.

It was so sad to see that there were not many young people there this past Saturday. Why? because they are all caught up in today's culture.Too busy with their ball games, dates, video games and youth activites to participate. May you, my friend, not fall into this trap of apathy as well. My sisters and I are standing even when many of the young men of my generation are not.

If you refuse to hear my words may you heed the words of Patrick Henry that we heard at the TEA Party on Saturday...

"If we wish to be free -- if we mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so long contending -- if we mean not basely to abandon the noble struggle in which we have been so long engaged, and which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained, we must fight! I repeat it, sir, we must fight! An appeal to arms and to the God of Hosts is all that is left us!

“They tell us, sir, that we are weak -- unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance, by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

“It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, ‘Peace! Peace!’ -- but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death!"

As one of the great reformers Martin Luther declared: " Here I stand, I can do no other." Are you standing? This isn't just about politics, it is about culture reform and the truth of the Gospel. What will you tell your grandchildren when they asked you what you did to stand against communism, fascism, and socialism?
