Protestors-at-Grahams-Office

On Monday morning protesters stood outside of Senator Lindsey Graham’s office building atop the cobblestone in the heart of downtown. Feeling betrayed, protestors held signs against Graham’s recent comments.

Afraid of an expansive government, citizens feel that Graham’s comments on Verizon and the government go against his proposed small government beliefs.

Graham stated, “I’m a Verizon customer. I don’t mind Verizon turning over records to the government if the government is going to make sure that they try to match up a known terrorist phone with somebody in the United States…I know I’m not. So we don’t have anything to worry about.”

The statement is in regards to the federal government ordering Verizon to turn over the telephone records of millions of Americans.

Protestors feeling that Graham has broken his promise of constitutional small government spent a couple of hours on his doorstep voicing their opinion on his actions.

An IRS protest and sign wave has been scheduled on July 9, 2013, from 12-1 pm outside the IRS office 440 Roper Mountain Road, Greenville, SC 29615.
