Coalition of Christian Leaders Calls on Churches to 'Pray For & Stand With Israel' on Sunday, May 19
- By Family Research Council
WASHINGTON -- Family Research Council, along with a coalition of organizations, is encouraging churches nationwide to Pray For & Stand With Israel. The event is meant as a call for the Christian community to unite in prayer and stand in unwavering support for Israel on Sunday, May 19, by dedicating a portion of their worship services to pray for Israel's peace, prosperity, and protection.
Family Research Council President Tony Perkins commented:
Journalist: Left-Wing Donors Manipulating Students into Campus Protests
- By S.A. McCarthy - The Washington Stand
In light of recent news that Democrat mega-donors are bankrolling pro-Palestine protests and encampments on college and university campuses, one expert is warning that this is a case of the Left manipulating students.
On Monday night’s episode of “Washington Watch,” Family Research Council President Tony Perkins commented of the ongoing protests, “They kind of all look the same. They have all these indicators of a well-funded, highly coordinated effort.” He continued, “Well, recent reporting has revealed that student groups organizing the protests have received financial backing from many of the largest funders of Democratic election campaigns, including top donors of President Joe Biden’s reelection bid.”
State Attorneys General to Biden: “We Will Resist the WHO”
- By Kris Ullman - President of Eagle Forum
Eagle Forum Applauds Republican AGs for Opposition to Pandemic Treaties
22 Republican State Attorneys General sent a letter to President Biden calling the World Health Organization’s proposed Pandemic Treaty and amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHRs) “unacceptable” and pledging to “resist any attempt to enable the WHO to directly or indirectly set public policy for our citizens.”
The strongly worded letter spells out the “unprecedented and unconstitutional powers over the United States and her people” these international instruments could give to the WHO. It comes just one week after every Republican Senator signed a letter to the President calling on him to withdraw his support for the Treaty and IHRs or at a minimum, submit them to the Senate for its constitutionally-mandated advice and consent.

Christians Must Stop Seeing Politics as 'Evil' Says Former Congressional Candidate
- By Christians Engaged
LAKE MARY, Fla. -- A former congressional candidate says Christians must stop viewing politics as "inherently evil" and be bolder in speaking out in the political arena.
"All parts of our culture, especially politics, need followers of Jesus to be involved within the system," said Bunni Pounds, founder of nonprofit ministry Christians Engaged (www.ChristiansEngaged.org). (Watch the promo video here: https://youtu.be/t62TujtAaMA )
"Get involved somewhere," said Pounds, a committed evangelical Christian. "The founders of our nation gave us a gift in our Constitution, but our liberty requires our participation."
In her new book, "Jesus and Politics: One Woman's Walk with God in a Mudslinging Profession," Pounds draws on her own experiences in politics to identify six things she's learned as both a politician and a Christian.
Add Sen. Tom Cotton to VP Shortlist
- By Star Parker
Headlines are now filled with names reported to be on Donald Trump's "shortlist" of possible VP candidates.
These individuals, some of whom I know, indeed have serious qualifications and experience and are appropriate to be considered for the No. 2 position in the executive branch of the nation's government.
This vetting process is, as they say, par for the course. It's exactly what we expect the presidential candidate to be doing.
However, in my view, these are not "par for the course" times. The domestic and international challenges we face are without precedent.
Illegal Immigrants Skew Election Results
- By Eagle Forum
Congress Acts to Blunt Effects of Illegal Immigration on Elections
The border crisis continues to be the number one issue for voters this year. The Biden Administration’s open border policy has made the problem worse and Republicans have struggled to pass real border security legislation across the finish line. Meanwhile, the American people are hurting from the economic strain, job loss, and crime perpetrated by illegal immigrants. There is one issue, however, that House Republicans are unifying around — ensuring that non-American citizens are not voting in federal elections or swaying election results.
Abiogenesis is Unrepeatable
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
Abiogenesis is ultimately unrepeatable even if it did occur, the best origin of life researchers could ever do is demonstrate that life could be produced under laboratory conditions. Not only would this require a lot of intelligence and deliberate manipulation of all the components involved, but as such it would not prove that such an event could actually happen in nature. The creation of life in a lab would only demonstrate that intelligence can produce life, it would not be repeating true abiogenesis. Also, the origin of life on Earth, whatever its source, is something that happened in the past and can't be repeated.
That '70s Show -- Is Biden Taking America Back to the Age of Jimmy Carter?
- By Stephen Moore
Everything that is happening in our fractured nation today seems so worrisomely reminiscent of America's last lost decade -- the 1970s.
For those who don't remember, the late 1970s under part-time President Gerald Ford and then much worse under President Jimmy Carter was one economic and national security setback after another.
The witches' brew of high inflation of 7% to 10% by 1979 and ever-increasing tax rates -- which rose as high as 70% -- drove the economy into a ditch. Real family incomes cratered under Carter because inflation rose so much faster than family take-home pay. Homes became unaffordable, with interest rates on mortgages skyrocketing up to 17%. Gas prices tripled. Carter blamed "Big Oil" and "invested" in pipe-dream green energy alternatives that all went bankrupt.
GET US OUT! of the World Health Organization by supporting and passing H.R. 79
- By The John Birch Society
H.R. 79 would withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO). This comes as the WHO works to implement a global pandemic treaty, as well as dangerous amendments to its International Health Regulations (IHR) — these will further enable Covid medical tyranny while amounting to yet another step toward a one-world government. It is imperative that Congress enact H.R. 79 and withdraw the United States from the WHO and UN.
The WHO’s World Health Assembly meeting where the globalists hope to approve the WHO’s global pandemic treaty and IHR amendments is less than a month away! A new draft of the proposed IHR amendments has been released, and a revised drat of the pandemic treaty has been leaked. These proposals would dangerously infringe on national sovereignty and serve as yet another step toward an emerging UN world government.

Are Anti-Israel Democrats Diminishing Trust in the U.S. as an Ally?
- By Sarah Holliday - The Washington Stand
One would think, after a terrorist organization such as Hamas attacked the people and state of Israel by brutally killing over a thousand citizens, as well as raping and kidnapping some of whom they did not viciously murder, that the response would be one of vehement condemnation. One would think, right? But instead, an ugly segment within the U.S. population has been unmasked as anti-Semitism breaks out, and this is the antithesis of what America stands for. College campuses, for one, have been a major focus since October 7.
States Embrace Climate Action Plans Under the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
- By Dan Titas, ACSC, 4-24-2024, shared with APC from his iAgenda 21 article
On September 20, 2023, the Biden administration met at the Sustainable Development Summit in New York with the goal of recommitting to the [United Nations] 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals—SDGs. A White House fact sheet stated, “The United States is committed to the full implementation of 2030 Agenda and the SDGs, at home and abroad… At their core, the SDGs seek to:
- Expand economic opportunity – This means public-private partnerships, which is crony capitalism. In this scheme there are winners and losers, where profits are privatized and losses are socialized on the backs of middle-class Americans.
- Advance social justice – This means placating and advancing people based on their skin color. At its core it is discriminatory.
- Promote good governance – This skirts our elected form of government and injects unelected special interest initiatives into our lives, where no one gets to vote.
- Ensure no one is left behind – This means catering to protected classes and minorities in order to create “capacity building” for initiatives and redistributive wealth schemes. Under Diversity and Inclusion (DEI), these classes are awarded “equity” and “inclusion” based on their skin color.
In a Ping-Pong game of executive orders, President Obama put the federal agencies into the SDGs; President Trump got SDGs out; President Biden put them back in during the first week of his administration. Congress has done nothing to reel them in.
Time to End the Proposed WHO Treaty Now
- By Robert W. Malone MD, MS
A letter signed by every single Republican Senator demands that President Biden withdraw US support from the proposed Pandemic Treaty and IHR Amendments. The Senators call upon Biden to:
-
Withdraw support for the current IHR amendments and pandemic treaty negotiations.
-
Shift focus to comprehensive WHO reforms that address its persistent failures without expanding its authority.
-
Should Biden ignore this advice, the Senators demand that President Biden submit any pandemic-related agreement to the Senate for its advice and consent.
House to Vote to Protect Home Appliances from Federal Fallacies
- By Eagle Forum
The Biden administration has been on a tirade against our home appliances. Numerous regulations have significantly limited our choices and increased prices in the name of “efficiency standards” and “environmental protection” — all without proof that their fallacious claims are true. In reality, these regulations are an affront to free market principles.
Macron Reiterates: France May Send Troops to Ukraine, “Russia Cannot Win in Ukraine”
- By Karen Faulkner, Worthy News Correspondent
France’s President Emmanuel Macron has reiterated that he would consider sending French troops to help Ukraine fight back against Russia’s invasion if the Ukrainians requested it, the Kyiv Post reports. Macron first announced his highly controversial standpoint earlier this year.
In his recent remarks to The Economist, Macron said he was unwilling to rule out sending troops to Ukraine because Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has shown a willingness to take control of Ukraine by any means. “I’m not ruling anything out because we are facing someone who is not ruling anything out,” Macron said.
The Bible Does Not Justify Anti-Semitism
- By Joshua Arnold - The Washington Stand
A bill (H.R. 6090) to make the Department of Education adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) definition of anti-Semitism “is unnecessarily raising concerns” about its effect on the gospel message, said Quena Gonzalez, senior director of government affairs at Family Research Council. The IHRA definition includes “contemporary examples,” he told The Washington Stand, among which is “using … claims of Jews killing Jesus … to characterize Israel or Israelis.”
But “no biblical Christian characterizes Israelis or modern Israel, just because they’re Jewish, as having killed Jesus,” Gonzalez responded. “Christians have long denounced this trope, going back to the church fathers of the first few centuries, and Christians today need not be concerned that this bill implicates proclaiming the gospel.”
Tucker Carlson Interview of Vladimir Putin - Part 11 of 12
- By Mike Scruggs
AI Technology, Return of Detainees, Huge Ukrainian Population Losses
In part 10 of this series, Vladimir Putin was asked about the nature of Russian Christianity, how it is related to the Russian world view, Putin’s own faith, and his opinion of the rise and fall of great nations in the past. Tucker Carlson continued to probe into Putin’s political philosophies and views on international relations and current issues.
Tucker Carlson: So when does the AI empire start do you think?
Vladimir Putin: You are asking increasingly more complicated questions. To answer them, you need to be an expert in big numbers, big data and AI.
Mankind is currently facing many threats. Due to genetic research, it is now possible to create a superhuman, a specialized human being – a genetically engineered athlete, scientist, military man.
We’re Turning Into Europe, Aren’t We?
- By W.H. Lamb
Several years ago, my wife’s cousin in Washington State sent her a disturbing email. She added her comments: “I thank God that I’m the age I am, for I would hate to see what is coming to America—in fact, what may already be here.” I kept her email on file because it so bothered me that I didn’t want to consign it to cyber oblivion. I read it again recently, and I’ve decided that her concerns must be shared with concerned patriots who read this great journal of truth known as The Times Examiner.
The body of this email was an article by a Spanish writer, Sebastian Vilar Rodrigez, that was published by a Spanish newspaper back on Jan. 15, 2011. A brave Spaniard wrote these words thirteen years ago, and tragically events in Europe have degenerated since then toward societal desperation in many European nations who made the fatal mistake of welcoming hordes of Muslim “peaceful refugees” from war-torn Syria and other Muslim cesspools and dens of authoritarian extremism into their borders. I think you’ll agree that it isn’t much of a stretch of the imagination to extrapolate his words not only to all of Europe, but particularly to the now BORDERLESS United States.
Chip Roy Responds to “Antisemitism Awareness Act of 2023”
- By D. Michael DeRidder - The New American
Representative Chip Roy (R-Texas) spoke on the floor of the House of Representatives last Thursday and stated Republican leadership rushed the Antisemitism Awareness Act of 2023 through the House.
Roy said the House was unable to debate or amend the bill as it was pushed through, stating:
Yet again today on the floor on the house of representatives we had another show vote to make people feel good about themselves by passing a bill that says antisemitism in the title. That’s what happened and it was put on the floor by republican leadership, and it was put on the floor by republican leadership despite knowing that it was pulled from going through committee. We didn’t have a chance to amend it. We didn’t have a chance to discuss it, debate it, we didn’t have a hearing on it.
Roy accused Republican leadership of passing the legislation by taking advantage of the current political situation involving the anti-Israel protests occurring on University campuses across the country, stating:
COVID Made Me a Full-on Anti-Vaxxer

I’m ashamed (read: furious and disappointed) to admit that when my now-grown daughters were little, I never questioned a single shot on the vaccine schedule. Oh, you’re going to take my minutes-old newborn over there and inject her with aluminum and formaldehyde to protect her from a disease primarily contracted through sexual intercourse and intravenous drug use? By all means! Obviously, you wouldn’t do that if it weren’t both prudent and necessary. You’re the doctor. I’m just a hormonal hot mess over here wearing adult diapers.

Netherlands Moment of Silence Without Antisemitic Incidents Amid Prayers
AMSTERDAM/AMSTELVEEN —While alerted Christians prayed for them as far away as Indonesia and other nations, the Dutch held a live televised commemoration for those killed in World War Two and other armed conflicts, without antisemitic incidents.
At 8 pm local time, there were two minutes of silence with several thousand people, including the royal family, standing quietly in pouring rain at Dam Square near the Royal Palace of Amsterdam, the capital.
There was concern that pro-Palestine activists, who targeted Jewish individuals, including students, a rabbi, an artist, and Holocaust survivors, may interrupt the ceremony.
'Never Again' Banner to Fly Above the University of Texas Today -- Holocaust Remembrance Day
- By Christian Newswire
A banner which reads: “NEVER AGAIN -- JEWISH LIVES MATTER.US” will fly over the University of Texas this morning beginning at 11:30 a.m. Central today--the internationally recognized date for Holocaust Remembrance Day, which commemorates the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising.
“We join the rest of the world to declare “Never Again” on this Holocaust Remembrance Day,” stated Janet Porter, a founding member of Jewish Lives Matter. “Our airborne message is directed to all those standing with Hamas terrorists calling for genocide on our campuses: We will NEVER go down that road again.”
This newly formed initiative by concerned individuals, Faith2Action, Truth & Liberty Coalition, MorningStar Ministries, Transformation Michigan, churches including New Dawn Community Church (Coral Springs, Florida), Christ the King Church (Waco, Texas), and businesses including Patriot Mobile, is sending the message to our Jewish friends: “Look up, you are not alone.”
Council Challengers Make Sales Pitch to Voters
- By Terry M. Thacker, Times Examiner Reporter
Eight candidates for Greenville County Council participated in a forum this past Tuesday evening at the Hughes Main Library. The event, attended by about 100 voters, was sponsored by the Palmetto Conservative Fund.
Jeff Magg and former councilman Joe Dill served as moderators. Magg explained that all of the incumbents as well as the challengers had been invited to participate in the forum. Steve Shaw was the only incumbent to show up.
Ken Matesevac is challenging Shaw for the District 20 seat. Matesevac got into the race after Shaw had announced that he was going to run for the General Assembly but later decided to seek reelection to his seat on council. Since Matesevac had already announced, he decided to stay in the race.
More Than 1,600 Pro-Hamas Activists at 33 Schools Arrested Since Gaza Encampments Began
- By Joshua Arnold - The Washington Stand
College campuses escalated their efforts to root out pro-Hamas occupations on Tuesday, with police arresting more than 430 people on nine different college campuses. Police have made more than 1,600 arrests in connection with the disruptive, illegal campus occupations since the first one began at Columbia University on April 19, according to an investigation by The Washington Stand. Disturbingly, some universities are beginning to cave to protestors’ demands to restore order to campus, even as campus protests become increasingly dominated by non-students.
The sheer number of campus protests and arrests can be a bit bewildering to keep track of them all. As of Wednesday, there were at least 1,641 arrests and counting at 33 colleges and universities in 23 states, with at least three more schools threatening to make arrests and more pro-Hamas encampments cropping up daily.
