Council Considered New Rules at March 2 MeetingEdward D. Sloan, Jr., and the South Carolina Public Interest Foundation petitioned the Court of Common Pleas in Greenville Friday, February 26, to prohibit Greenville County from “disbursement of funds from the Council District Expense Fund.” The complaint for declaratory judgment and injunctive relief was filed just two working days prior to the Council’s scheduled meeting to receive advice from legal council regarding rule changes necessary to comply with the Feb. 8 ruling by Judge John C. Few that the “Council District Expense Fund portion of the 2006-2007 budget for Greenville County is declared to be an impermissible delegation of legislative authority, and thus to be illegal.” |

The trip resulted from an eventful week that took place October 5-10, 2009. Greenville was chosen by the U.S. Navy Outreach as one of twenty-three cities in the United States for a group of U.S. Navy officers and sailors to visit and explain to citizens what the U.S. Navy is doing with regard to the “War On Terror,” as well as humanitarian projects around the world. |

Remembering the Vietnam WarThe late Harry G. Summers Jr., Colonel of Infantry, and distinguished faculty member of the Army War College, often called people’s attention to the fact that considerable differences in the treatment of the Vietnam War can be seen in the literature published in academia and that published by the veterans who fought it. He also pointed out that even among the combat veterans there are differences according to the time frame of their involvement and the role they played. |

Cultural Marxism is systematically stamping out vestiges of Western Civilization and the Free Enterprise System that has made the United States of America the envy of the world and provided the highest standard of living known to mankind for more than two centuries. The pace of destruction has accelerated in recent months and citizens are becoming fearful of losing their God-given freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States. Many Americans view the economic chaos occurring in the United States in the past year since the inauguration of President Obama to result from inexperience or incompetence. Leftists and some African-American leaders view the mounting economic problems as resulting from lack of cooperation by Republicans and criticism by Conservatives. Tragically, those described above are victims of Cultural Marxism and fail to recognize that they have been duped. They are duped by those who know what they are doing and are following a carefully implemented plan. |

Several years ago Russ Cassell of WORD/WYRD radio directed my attention to chemtrails. Then, around two years ago, I inadvertently began what was to become a research project about the history of the Bavarian Illuminati, as represented in Canadian Navy Commander William Guy Carr’s 1954 and 1958 book, Pawns in the Game. With regard to the New World Order, as announced by the erection of the Georgia Guidestones in March 1980, chemtrails have been noted since 1997 over many parts of the world. “Sustainable development” is the key phrase, from the Greenville County Council’s apparent efforts to implement the UN Agenda 21 to the far-fetched idea of worldwide “population reduction.” The latter is where chemtrails and HAARP may come into play. |

Can It Happen Here? The $787 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act stimulus package passed last year pushed the annual fiscal deficit to $1.89 trillion, almost doubling the last Bush deficit of $1.02 trillion. Not that Bush has anything to brag about, the largest deficit in the Clinton years was $347 billion, and way back in the Nixon years the highest annual deficit was only $31 billion. More ominously, it looks like President Obama will chalk up another $1.8 trillion deficit this year. Our national debt is already $12.5 trillion. Yet the President is proposing healthcare, immigration, environmental, and education legislation that could send federal, state, and local government spending out of sight. |

| Gen. Alexander Haig: Dead at Age 85 |

The announced death of Alexander “Al” Haig brought back many memories of a man who spent six decades of his life in service to his country. Haig was born in a suburb of Philadelphia, Dec. 2, 1924. As a boy he dreamed of a military career, received an appointment to the US Military Academy and graduated from West Point with the class of 1947. He served in combat in both Korea and Vietnam. As an Army Colonel he became a military advisor to Henry Kissinger in the Nixon Administration. President Nixon promoted Haig from 2 to 4 star general, breaking tradition and passing over 240 more senior officers. He served as Chief of Staff for Nixon during the Watergate Hearings and became the Supreme Allied Commander of NATO forces under President Ford. He resigned from that position when President Carter created the Iranian disaster and was later appointed Secretary of State by President Reagan. He resigned due to bickering within the Reagan Cabinet. George Shultz, his successor at State described Haig as “a patriot’s patriot. No matter how you sliced him, it came out red, white and blue.” |

| Tap Water Disinfectant Chloramine? |

Most people do not know that chloramine is the tap water disinfectant used in Greenville by Greenville Water System and in Greer by Greer Commission of Public Works. Chloramine is a combination of bleach and ammonia - two cleaners that you are told to never combine when cleaning. My son and I have experienced burning, red, itchy skin rashes that no doctor could treat and digestive symptoms including nausea, horrible abdominal cramps, and irritable bowel symptoms. I figured out it was the water after going to chloramine.org which tells symptoms that others are having and shows example skin rashes before and after using chloraminated water. I learned that about 1,000 people in an organization called Citizens Concerned About Chloramine (CCAC) were able to prove cause and effect with chloramine. They are dramatically better after avoiding chloramine, but this takes a lot of work. |

The Senate’s decisive defeat of confirmation of radical labor lawyer Craig Becker is the first tangible result of the Massachusetts Miracle, which made Scott Brown the 41st Republican in the U.S. Senate. Two red-state Democrats also voted not to proceed toward a vote on President Obama’s nomination of Becker to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Becker is a top lawyer for the Service Employees International Union, which spent $60 million to elect Obama. SEIU’s boss, Andy Stern, was the most frequent visitor to Obama’s White House last year. |

As candidates come forward and election fever grips the people there are many questions about the Tea Party activities and how they might serve to shift the party powers in the Washington arena. Allegations run rampant about problems within the Tea Party movement. Are Republicans trying to take it over? Is it being infiltrated by so-called Progressives? Is it too representative of the fringe elements of our political system? Is it in danger of becoming a third party spoiler that could split the conservative votes and allow the Democrats to continue their power monopoly? |

“Johnny, give your toy to your sister. You need to learn to share.” “No, Annie, I don’t feel like taking you to the party tonight. It’s time you learn to give up your own desires once in a while.” “We shouldn’t complain when our high taxes go to support the homeless. The Bible says we should sacrifice to help others.” All three of these statements have something in common. Do you know what it is? All three have a faulty understanding of the meaning of sacrifice. The first sentence sounds pretty innocuous and I’ve often heard it said to toddlers. The second statement is a little more problematic and you may have heard parents of teenagers say this. The third statement shows the full picture of misunderstanding biblical sacrifice. |

After more than 15 years of trying to warn Americans about the dangers of Sustainable Development, finally, many in the freedom movement are beginning to understand that it is the root of most of the issues we are fighting today. But it is a vast, complicated issue that is difficult to comprehend - even for those of us who have been studying it for so long. It is critical that all freedom-loving Americans grasp the true destructive force of evil that is Sustainable Development. |
