One of the long-term claims of universal common descent evolution is that birds evolved from theropod dinosaurs. Now there are problems with this claim but that is not what we are addressing here. In recent days they have not just been claiming the birds evolved from dinosaurs but that they actually are dinosaurs. Yes, you heard me right, they are literally claiming the birds are living dinosaurs. The propaganda value for this is so obvious, particularly when dealing with young children is enormous.
I first encountered this claim in online discussions. After checking it turns out to be that that is literally what establishment paleontology is now saying about birds. When responding to these claims by pointing out how different birds are from dinosaurs, they were met with the same insults of disagreeing with universal common descent evolution itself. In these discussions I said nothing about evolution or even challenged the notion that birds had evolved from dinosaurs. All I did was show criticism of labeling birds living dinosaurs they are completely different creatures from actual dinosaurs.
This is a tremendous example of the use of propaganda. Undoubtedly this is what children are being taught these days in public schools, museums and other sources. What they have been doing is labeling some birds fossils as theropod dinosaurs in their latest approach is to now take the next step inefficiently start calling birds dinosaurs. Can there be any thing clearer that the evolutionists are engaged a massive propaganda campaign to support their worldview.
