The left's objective is to demonize their opposition, relegating them to a perceived state of inhumanity, making it easier to conduct such vile actions as violence.
I have been listening to the mainstream media reporting on yesterday's assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump. There is one thing for certain, the left is searching for moral relativism. They are doing everything possible to find equivalency and castigate a semblance of blame on what they call the Trump movement. I find this utterly disgusting and highly disconcerting. The road map to our arriving at this point is easy to follow.
First, let us not forget the ranting of one Maxine Waters challenging leftists to get in the face of Trump supporters and even Cabinet members. Never forget the stories of leftists engaging their political opposition in restaurants, one even telling Sarah Huckabee Sanders that she was not welcome to dine at her establishment. There was Kathy Griffin holding the bloodied head of Trump. There was rapper Snoop Dog holding a gun to the head of someone resembling Trump. There was a play in NYC that was supposed to be about Julius Caesar, instead it was Trump being brutally stabbed. CNN commentator Fareed Zakaria even praised the play.
Recently Joe Biden used the language of having Trump in a bullseye, not to mention all the rhetoric about Trump being a “threat to democracy” (though we are a Constitutional Republic). Along with that we have had Trump being compared to Hitler, and Trump supporters being called Nazis (which stood for “national socialists”). We should never forget Biden's very damaging speech at Constitution Hall where he attacked his political opposition, or Hillary Clinton's basket of deplorables comment. And remember Obama's comment about folks clinging to their "guns and religion."
We have already had a deranged leftist, Bernie Sanders supporter, attempt to assassinate members of the Republican baseball team. We have seen parents designated as domestic terrorists because they want better education, not indoctrination, of their children. Pro-life supporters having FBI raids conducted in early morning hours at their homes.
The leftist media can try and create some sense of relativism, but it is a futile endeavor. And yes, they keep going back to January 6 but fail to speak of Antifa, BLM, and groups like Jane's Revenge and the consistent acts of violence these leftist groups have perpetrated.
The bottom line is that leftism, Marxism, only advances itself by threats, intimidation, coercion, and ultimately violence. The adoption of the Saul Alinsky “Rules for Radicals” tactics are very evident. Now the left finds itself in a precarious position. Can they continue to use their disturbing political rhetoric in assailing their opposition, or can they defend their policies (which have failed)? We have already read that the Biden campaign had to suspend millions of dollars of political ads. I wonder why?

There is no equivalency here. We, as Constitutional Conservatives, the political opposition to progressive socialism, must continue to speak to the issues. Let us not be lured into a leftist ambush. We must seize the high ground, maintain it, and never surrender it. We are watching the true face of Marxism, and it is imploding. Let us follow the sage wisdom of Napoleon who advised that one should never interfere with their enemy when they are destroying themselves.
Sadly, the leftists in America have made any and everyone who does not subjugate themselves to their ideological agenda their enemy. That is why what seems unconscionable — an assassination attempt of Donald Trump — is totally acceptable to them, and why they search to find a means of relevance to justify such an action.
