Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Department Performs at American Legion Post 214 Grand Opening

This Ceremony is in honor of a fallen soldier. The soldier’s unpolished boots are carried by an Honor Guard member to be placed on the wooden block in front of the cross.

A solemn memorial service is conducted by volunteer members of the Spartanburg County Sheriff Dept. Honor Guard. The service begins with six Honor Guard members carrying M-1 Garand Rifles with fixed bayonets.
