Wade Hampton High School remembered 9/11 with a ceremony on September 9th in memory of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

The ceremony took place at the flagpole in front of the school on Pine Knoll Drive. The ceremony included remarks by Principal Lance Radford, a wreath laying by Representatives of the Greenville County Sheriffs Department and the Wade Hampton Fire Department.

The Wade Hampton High School US Air Force Junior ROTC Color Guard lowered the flag to half-staff during the playing of TAPS. A large banner honoring those lost on 9/11 and two fire engines along with numerous American flags formed the background for the ceremony.
