Rising Tide Of Civil Liberties Violations In America
- Details
- By Chad Kister - Nelsonville, OH
Far too many .Americans are oblivious to the rising tide of civil liberties violations in America. The reason is that much of it is being done under the Patriot Act and is hidden from view by the general public.
What we do know about those who are supposed to be the role models of our country is quite troubling. FBI agents broke into the home of a Portland, Oregon attorney and searched it, using the sneak and peak provision of the Patriot Act. They arrested him and accused him of being a part of the Madrid train bombings. The FBI later realized they had made a mistake in the DNA and released him. He won $2 million in a subsequent lawsuit.
Don’t Vote Incumbents, Vote New People

I hope the GOP doesn’t want former Governor of Massachusetts to run for President in 2012. The progressives could try and push him in as a candidate. I mean Mitt Romney, He pushed socialistic healthcare up in Massachusetts and they are living with it.
Death Is A Subject We Avoid
- Details
- By Terry Odom - Piedmont, SC
My 81 year old mother had to go to the emergency room three times with emphysema last year. She was hospitalized all three times. The first two times, I sent her to St. Francis Women’s Hospital. Both times, two separate doctors told me that my mother was old, her lungs were gone, and advised me not to treat her and let her die. The third time she had to go to a hospital, I sent her to Hillcrest Memorial Hospital. There she was treated for her emphysema and recovered. Here it is April 2010 and she is still alive.
A doctor should not be able to decide who lives and who dies. That is up to God.
America cannot call itself a Christian nation. We kill our elderly, sick and unborn babies. Yet, we jail someon who would kill a litter of puppies.
Eliminate the Middle Man
- Details
- By John H. Utz - Greenville, SC
"We will eliminate the middle man, and save $68 billion dollars." So promised the Great One, President Obama, as he signed legislation which 'took over' the Student College Loan Program. And so the greedy banks, being the 'middle man,' will lay off employees, who will be replaced by new government employees, of course.
Young People Cheer For Their Own Destruction
- Details
- By Maria Brady - Boiling Springs Tea Party, SC
You'd think that young people would be flocking to the tea party activities.
They've had the most stolen from them by the corrupt politicians. Their entire future has been stolen! They'll spend most of their life in a MUCH lower standard of living than that enjoyed by their parents. America's economy is being "fundamentally changed" (just as Obama promised) into one where very few will have any real opportunity to move up in life.
