Politicians Make a Mockery Out of 'Emergency' Spending

Remember how, mere months ago, the debt-ceiling deal struck between Democrats and Republicans to avoid a government shutdown was touted as "an historic first step toward shifting government back toward common sense and conservatism?" The hope was that the spending caps in the deal would actually constrain spending. Well, it took less than two months for politicians to start evading the caps with an old trick: emergency spending.
Abiogenesis, a Thermodynamic Impossibility

A common creationist argument against abiogenesis is that it violates the 2nd law of thermodynamics based on the fact that abiogenesis would require a huge reduction and entropy, and the second law indicates that entropy increases. The evolutionist response is that this is not true because the Earth is an open system and gets energy from the sun which can allow entropy to decrease locally. This response is correct, but the evolutionists making this response are using energy like a magic wand. They act as if all you need to do is apply energy to a system and its entropy will magically decrease.

Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelensky was born of Russian-speaking Jewish parents on January 25, 1978, in Kryvyi Rih (Russian, Krivoy Rog), a city of over 600,000 in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast of Ukraine, which is one of nine predominantly Russian-speaking oblasts in eastern and southern Ukraine. His parents had science and engineering educational and vocational backgrounds. He grandfather, Simon Zelensky, served in the Red Army during World War II, rising in rank from private to colonel. Many of his relatives were killed by the German Army during the Holocaust. By age 17, however, Volodymyr Zelensky was actively participating in comedy routines. After receiving a degree in law from Kyiv National Economic University, he began a career as an actor and comedian.

Last month, the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) published a draft of proposed new guidelines for mergers and acquisitions. Sounds like a problem reserved for people who sit in board rooms, right? Not exactly. Such rules will affect all of us.
If implemented, the proposal will preemptively block private-sector corporate transactions with little regard for the actual impact on consumers. This power grab by progressives in the Biden administration would shift antitrust law from standards that corporations and courts can understand to a series of vague and ambiguous "guidelines" that only give bureaucrats greater power over corporate America.

When you see the material in any media by evolutionists on the topic, the impression is given that all you need is the right conditions and proof life is guaranteed to arise. The Republic of Niger is a West African nation of 25.4 million people. Its capital, Niamey, has more than a million people. Niger was a French colony until 1958 when it became an autonomous part of the French Community. It declared its full independence in 1960 but maintained strong economic ties to France. The official language of Niger is French, although seven other languages are recognized and widely spoken, including Hausa, Zarma, Fulani, and Arabic. Niger is over 99 percent Muslim. The Niger River flows through Niger, but Niger is landlocked and does not border the Atlantic Gulf of Guinea as does its more populous neighbor Nigeria on its southern border.
