Palmetto State’s Most Conservative Senator Holds His Seat

Lee-Bright Incumbent Senator Lee Bright retained his District 12 State Senate seat in the Republican Primary over challenger John Hawkins. The district covers parts of both Greenville and Spartanburg Counties. Bright carried precincts in both counties by almost two to one.
