Members of the Greenville County Republican Women’s Club showed great interest in the presentation on refugee resettlement by Michelle Wiles. At the conclusion of her presentation the club, the largest in the state, unanimously passed a resolution asking Governor Nikki Haley to suspend acceptance of refugees from Muslim countries until assurances can be given that there are no terrorists imbedded in the groups.

The Greenville County Republican Party Executive Committee passed the same resolution earlier this month. Greenville County Council, to date, has refused to even consider such a resolution. The GCRWC will pass the resolution to the State Federation of Republican Women for consideration.

Mrs. Bang Hall asked Greenville County Council to become informed and involved with the Refugee Resettlement Program that will impact Upstate, SC.

Mrs. Hall survived the Vietnam War and Communists reeducation camps. She became a patriotic American citizen the legal way.
