Frontline Ministries, Inc., began in 1994, co-founded by Chaplain E. Ray Moore, and Rev. Lee Adams, the first executive director. Ray and his wife, Gail, and Lee Adams and his wife, Susan, both provided their children with homeschool education. Ray is a retired Army Reserve Chaplain (Lt. Col.), and veteran of Gulf War I. Ray and Gail began homeschooling in 1977 and were among the first who pioneered the modern home-schooling movement. Ray has been married to Gail for 54 years. They have four children and nine grandchildren.
For 30 years, Frontline Ministries, Inc., has been a major leader in raising awareness of the collapse of public education and encouraging Christian parents to remove their children from its godless institutions and to provide them Christian education with a biblical worldview. It is only in the past 10-15 years that other ministries have mobilized with the same message. As a result of Frontline Ministries, Inc., and the efforts of similar organizations, an estimated 3.5 million children will be homeschooling this year, and millions more will be attending Christian and private schools.
Special guest speaker, Dr. Carl Broggi, will deliver an inspiring and challenging message entitled, Pastors Leading Their Churches in Christian Education. Carl is the senior pastor of Community Bible Church in Beaufort, SC., and is the headmaster of Community Bible Church Christian Academy for K-12 home education. CBC Christian Academy started in 1992, which has had hundreds of participating families and graduates. Community Bible Church currently supports over 300 missionaries, both local and worldwide. Pastor Broggi serves as president of WAGP 88.7 FM radio station which provides multi-faceted programming intended to transform and renew our minds in Christ. Carl provides leadership to The Institute of Biblical Studies, a continuing education opportunity for those who desire a certificate of Biblical studies. He also serves as president of Search the Scriptures radio, broadcasting his messages largely to east coast stations & worldwide on the Internet. Carl and his wife, Audrey, have four sons, a daughter, two daughters-in-law, a sonin-law, and an increasing number of grandchildren.
Ray Moore states, "For over 30 years, I have traveled across the country promoting the mission of Frontline Ministries, Inc., encouraging and assisting Christian families and churches to leave the state-sponsored public school system for the promised land of K-12 Christian schools or homeschooling. My hope and prayer that a fresh obedience by churches and families in the education of their children according to biblical commands will become a key for the revival and reformation of our families, churches and culture. Neither the state nor government has any God-ordained role in the education and discipleship of children, which belongs to the family and the Church."
Ray currently serves as president of Frontline Ministries, Inc., focusing on prayer, revival and Christian education. He is the founder and director of the Exodus Mandate Project (www.exodusmandate.org), launched in 1997, which is one of the leading advocates in America today for K-12 Christian and home-based education as an alternative to state-run public schools. He is chairman emeritus of the Christian Education Initiative (www.Christedu.org), launched in Feb 2019. He is chairman of www.PublicSchoolExit.com, launched in 2020. He is author of Let My Children Go and co-authored with his wife, Gail, The Promise of Jonadab: Building a Christian Family Legacy in a Time of Cultural Decline. He is the executive producer of the 2011 award-winning film, IndoctriNation (Gunn Productions). He is script writer and Executive Producer of the July 2015 released film, Escaping Common Core: Setting Our Children Free” (Cutting Edge Films).
The Dr. Robert Dreyfus “Courageous Christian Leadership Award,” established by Frontline Ministries, Inc., in 2007 will be presented to the 2024 recipient during the banquet.
