Russia’s Re-elected Putin Warns Of World War III
- By Stefan J. Bos, Chief International Correspondent Worthy News
MOSCOW/BUDAPEST – Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the West on Monday that a direct confrontation between Russia and the U.S.-led NATO military alliance would be “one step away from a full-scale World War III.”
“I think hardly anyone is interested in this,” Putin added in remarks following his re-election as the longest-serving leader since Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin.
However, “Everything is possible in the modern world,” Putin stressed.
Putin made the remarks after election authorities claimed he won Sunday’s presidential elections with nearly 88 percent of the vote, the highest voting percentage in Russia’s post-Soviet history.
Netanyahu Plans Invasion of Rafah Despite ‘Red Line’ Set by Biden
- By Emmitt Barry, Worthy News Correspondent
Despite U.S. President Joe Biden’s assertion in a Saturday MSNBC interview that an invasion of Rafah would cross a “red line,” Israeli Prime Minister announced plans to invade the city, which currently serves as a refuge for over a million Palestinians.
In a broadcast interview with MSNBC on Saturday, Biden emphasized that Netanyahu needs to give more importance to the loss of innocent lives in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. He mentioned that an incursion into Rafah would cross a “red line,” warning against the potential loss of 30,000 more Palestinian lives.
When questioned if a ground operation by Israel in Rafah constitutes a “red line,” Biden stated, “It is a red line, but I will never abandon Israel.”

Get US Out of the UN with the DEFUND ACT (H.R. 6645 & S. 3428)
- By The John Birch Society
Legislation to Get US Out! of the United Nations is currently pending in Congress. H.R. 6645 and S. 3428, titled the Disengaging Entirely from the United Nations Debacle (DEFUND) Act, are respectively sponsored by Representative Chip Roy (R-Texas) and Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah). These bills would fully withdraw the United States from the United Nations, restoring U.S. national sovereignty. Both H.R. 6645 and S. 3458 are pending in the House and Senate Foreign Affairs Committees, respectively. Contact your U.S. representative and senators, and urge them to support and cosponsor these bills, and to ensure their passage in Congress.
The United Nations is one of the greatest threats to U.S. national sovereignty and the God-given freedoms of Americans. It is imperative that Congress enact legislation to fully withdraw the United States from the UN and all its associated entities.
A Health Care ‘Tower of Babel’: Pro-Life Leaders Denounce WHO Pandemic Agreement
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
An international global governance group has launched “a global power grab” in its efforts to influence the way the world’s governments respond to global health emergencies — and suppress those who dare to dissent.
A coalition of pro-life, pro-security experts denounced the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Pandemic Agreement, originally proposed as a global treaty, which would require the United States to give 20% of all vaccines and supplies to WHO for global redistribution; calls on governments to “combat” any information that undermines trust in public health authorities; and promotes “equity,” “universal” government health care, and the “OneHealth” doctrine equating human life with animals. The current draft agreement does not allow nations to make reservations or amend the accord. But an unelected body of global bureaucrats can make legally binding changes to its terms once the agreement goes into force.
Ukraine War Survivor Overcomes Cancer to Help Traumatized Israelis
- By Slavic Gospel Association (SGA)
Given just months to live, courageous Christian missionary says 'sharing Gospel' most important thing
LOVES PARK, Ill. -- A Ukrainian couple facing their own life-and-death battle with advanced cancer are helping others suffering from anxiety and despair on the frontline of the Israel-Hamas war.
Ukrainian-born Jew Yura, 51, and his wife Luda, 53, who has undergone major surgeries and multiple rounds of chemotherapy to treat Stage 4 cancer, left Ukraine to live in Israel, only to find themselves facing Hamas' rockets — and a devastating medical diagnosis.
Initially, doctors gave Luda only 3-6 months to live. But she has defied expectations, with doctors saying her condition is currently stable — a "miracle" that she attributes to answered prayer.
The couple — their last name withheld for security reasons — serve as Christian missionaries supported by U.S.-based Slavic Gospel Association (SGA, www.sga.org) in the Israeli city of Ashkelon, just 8 miles from Gaza. Ashkelon has come under attack since the war started last October.

'PERSECUTION IS A CROWN WE WEAR': Christians in North Africa face a "new year of persecution" that is intensifying in the shadow of the Holy Land conflict, says Middle East media ministry SAT-7 USA (www.sat7usa.org).
EASTON, Md. -- Christians in North Africa, where less than 1% of the population follows Christianity, are facing a new year of escalating persecution in the shadow of the Holy Land conflict.
There are only a handful of evangelical churches still open in Algeria, where the government is raiding and systematically shutting down Christian places of worship, according to faith-based media organization SAT-7 USA (www.sat7usa.org), which has broadcast studios in North Africa and the Middle East.

Israel, Hamas Trade Prisoners, Extend Ceasefire
- By Joshua Arnold - The Washington Stand
Israel and Hamas agreed to a four-day ceasefire which began Friday, during which Israel has agreed to release three Palestinian prisoners for every Israeli hostage freed. As of early Monday morning, Islamist terrorists based in Gaza had released 58 hostages, including 39 Israelis, while Israel had freed 117 Palestinians. Despite alleged and real violations of the ceasefire, the combatants agreed Monday to extend the ceasefire for two more days.
Calls for a pause in fighting began immediately after Hamas terrorists invaded Israel on October 7, killing more than 1,200 Israelis, wounding more than 5,000, and kidnapping more than 240 hostages. Hamas militants directly targeted civilians, including elderly women, children, and even babies; they burned, raped, murdered, and committed unspeakable acts of brutality. In context, early calls for a ceasefire — after Hamas finished shooting but before Israel began — implicitly denied that Israel had a right to defend itself, and therefore a right to exist as a sovereign nation.

Räsänen faced up to two years in prison, although the prosecutor lobbied for a fine in the thousands of euros.

Local church leader says terrifying rocket attacks 'interrupt efforts to share Gospel'
LOVES PARK, Ill. -- Jewish Christians, including refugees from war-torn Ukraine, continue to brave rocket attacks to deliver aid and hope door-to-door on the frontline of the Israel-Hamas war.
Israel is home to roughly 40% of Jews from the former Soviet Union, who make up more than 15% of the entire Israeli population.
They include Ukrainian Jews who recently completed Aliyah — immigration to Israel — only to find themselves "out of the frying pan and into the fire," according to Illinois-based mission organization Slavic Gospel Association (SGA, www.sga.org).
One Ukrainian family being helped by SGA-supported local church workers only just moved to Israel from their war-torn homeland. After enduring heavy bombing day after day in Ukraine, they thought they'd escaped war — only to find themselves suddenly in the middle of Israel's deadly conflict.
