U.S. Supreme Court Weighs Right for Parents To Opt Their Children from LGBT Content

(Worthy News) – The Supreme Court on Tuesday will hear a case from Maryland parents who argue that public schools are violating their religious rights by denying them the ability to opt their children out of LGBTQ-related lessons.
The case challenges whether Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland violated the Constitution by not informing parents or allowing them to opt their elementary-aged children out of LGBT-themed story time, featuring books on gender identity, Pride parades, and same-sex relationships.
“We’re just saying if the school board is going to make that decision, let us have the chance to leave the classroom,” said Colten Stanberry, counsel at Becket and attorney for the parents, in an interview with Fox News Digital. “And so I think for my parent clients, they’re saying let us be the parents. Keep us involved in the school decision-making process. Don’t try to cut us out.”
Final Changes to Official Air Force Hymn Announced

WASHINGTON — The official United States Air Force Hymn, “Lord, Guard and Guide the Men Who Fly,” has undergone its final change and is ready for Memorial Day and Independence Day. Commissioned to analyze and correct the hymn’s musical structure, Air Force veteran and musician former Chaplain, Capt. James “Jim” F. Linzey has formally completed the project.
Originally penned in 1915 by Scottish poet Mary Christian Dundas Hamilton as “A Hymn for Aviators,” the prayer later came to be known as, “Lord, Guard and Guide the Men Who Fly.” It was officially adopted by the U.S. Air Force in 1947 and has since been partially incorporated into the official United States Navy Hymn, “Eternal Father, Strong to Save” for naval and Marine aviators. Elements of Hamilton’s prayer are also echoed in the official United States Space Force Hymn, “Creator of the Universe.”

Two important developments in education occurred over the last week. One was a sign of the problem we have. The other was a sign of the solution.
The sign of the problem, to which hopefully the U.S. Supreme Court will provide the correct answer, falls under the headline of sex education.
The court has just heard Mahmoud v. Taylor, in which families from a variety of faiths -- Muslims, Jews, Christians -- are fighting imposition by the Board of Education in Montgomery County, Maryland, requirements that children learn material about gender ideology.

What do you believe about God? How do we know about God? Some people reject the existence of God and even the concept of God. Many hold that the existence of God is self-evident. A courageous and brilliant Chinese friend once told me that his academic professors in China categorically rejected the existence of God, but in dormitory discussions their students came to the conclusion by observing nature, humanity, and their own experiences and knowledge that there had to be a God and were eager to find out more, which was fortunately available to them through forbidden but available sources. They wanted to know the nature of God and found God through Scripture, radio, and secret contacts and discussions at considerable risk to themselves and contacts.

A most heinous and diabolical set of arrangements, orders, manipulations and calculated dividing of families has been occurring in Arizona for years in matters of divorce. These acts have been hidden from the public, and parents have been ignored or disciplined attempting to confront these egregious orders. How? In part because by formal Order of the Court or indirectly with a nod from the court to a group of attorneys and so named Forensic Interventionists, children have been removed from homes and transported out-of-state to "reunification camps." These camps forbid removed children any contact in any manner with the parent to whom they had been residing. Examples of such horrendous actions are now becoming public. The testimonies of children and parents are incredibly disturbing, sobering, and tear producing.

Evolutionists frequently accuse creationists of having a view of origins that requires magic. Not only is this not true, but it turns out that it is their perspective that actually requires magic. This is because their perspective actually requires violating natural law, where the presence of an intelligent designer prevents such violations. Evolutionists will frequently deny this, but it is clear when you look closely at this essentially atheistic model of origins.
This view of origin starts with the Big Bang, which starts at a singularity. This would literally be a point of no volume but infinite density. What makes this magical is that there is nothing in the model about where the singularity came from or what started the expansion. It is basically a sudden expansion from nothing. Despite trying to apply the laws of physics, it still requires a magical starting point, where we're essentially nothing, suddenly expanding into everything.

It didn’t matter how soundly she slept, Salamatu would wake up at 2 a.m. every night — her body remembering what her mind wished she could forget. It had been that same hour, months earlier, when Boko Haram stormed into her village, rewriting her future forever.

We were honored to have Mr. Joe Long from the South Carolina Relic Room located in Columbia, SC give a presentation on the history of swords. Mr. Long gave a demonstration of sword techniques as well. He brought swords for everyone to see and a timeline of sword use through the ages. His program ended with everyone being able to participate. He has swords made from pool noodles for the little kids to use. This was so educational and very interesting!
