Nikita Kruchev boasted that the United States would be destroyed from within. Barack Obama arrogantly bragged that he would fundamentally transform our republic. Both are on the verge of being proven correct.
Few Americans believe the current national Republican leadership has the wisdom, will or desire to reverse the Obama agenda. That leaves divine intervention as the only hope for future generations of Americans to remain free.
Two historic events took place in the United States earlier this month. Voters overwhelmingly rejected the Democrat Party, their President and the policies of their government. Republicans were given control of the Senate with a comfortable majority and they were given an increase in their majority in the House. This remarkable achievement gives the Republicans a probable “last” chance to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States from being destroyed by “enemies, foreign and domestic.” They have taken a solemn oath to do so. Now we will see if they have the wisdom and backbone to keep their word and live up to their oath of office.
Secondly, and with little more than a few meaningless remarks from the “loyal opposition,” President Obama carried out his threat to “fix” the immigration system. He announced action to violate the constitution, ignore current law and the will of the people and issue “amnesty” to a vaguely defined and yet to be identified five million illegal aliens residing somewhere within the open borders of the United States.
Obama and his minions are following a well-rehearsed and uncompromising plan based on the clearly stated Rules for Radicals by Sol Alinsky and proven methods devised and tested by professors Cloward and Piven at Columbia University.
Cloward and Piven devised methods for overloading and breaking the free enterprise system with government “freebies,” while Alinsky devised psychological techniques for manipulating the opposition into submission, by lying, cheating and stealing from the treasury through income redistribution.
A major battle is shaping up between the Republican Party leadership and the sincere constitutional conservatives in Congress and in the electorate. The former Rockefeller Moderate wing of the Republican Party is firmly in control at the national level and employing the Harry Reed style of leadership is rooting constitutional conservatives from party leadership. They spend more effort and funds fighting Conservative Republicans than they do opposing Democrats, Communists and Islamic terrorists.
The lack of principled behavior by GOP leaders is contributing to Democrat plans for rendering the GOP to be irrelevant in future national elections. Many moderate Republicans (similar to progressive Democrats) have joined with the large corporations and Chamber of Commerce to support amnesty for aliens. Their only disagreement with Obama is that they want credit for doing it so they can pander to the newly legalized, former criminal, voters.
It is well-known that fixing the alleged “broken” immigration system is not about helping people or about improving our economy or our country. It is about money, politics and power.
Democrats are motivated by a desire to improve their voter and power base. They believe that the addition of 20 to 50 million people to the dependency rolls will give them one-party control for the next century. They believe that they can use the same methods used on blacks and many whites to addict them to government programs, while they indoctrinate their children in government schools and other programs. They believe that Hispanics will become obedient servants of the Democrat party just as Blacks have been for a century and a growing number of whites are becoming as the welfare state expands.
Chamber of Commerce Republicans support amnesty for illegal aliens because they want cheap labor to replace an aging work force and spoiled young Americans with a poor work ethic.
Sadly, there is little hope that there is a political solution to America’s problems. There is too much greed, corruption and mendacity involved. The only real hope is found in II Chronicles 7:14. Happy Thanksgiving!
