USDA Announces Investments in Rural Community Facilities That Will Benefit More Than 761,000 Americans

WASHINGTON, Nov. 28, 2018 – Assistant to the Secretary for Rural Development Anne Hazlett today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is investing $291 million (PDF, 142 KB) to build or improve community infrastructure and essential services for 761,000 residents in 18 states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

City of Greer Approves New Senior Living Community Development

CR Properties, LLC Slates Corner of Buncombe Rd and Brushy Creek for The Claiborne at Greer Community
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Hattiesburg-based real estate development company, CR Properties, LLC and SRI Management LLC, announce approval from the City of Greer for the development of a 150,000 sq. ft. comprehensive senior living community to be built at the corner of Buncombe Road and Brushy Creek. With construction slated to begin in the first quarter of 2019, the community will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care options in a resort-style environment. CR Properties selected D2 Architecture to design the multi-building community and RW Allen Construction to build the 135-unit facility. The project is anticipated to take approximately 14 months from groundbreaking to opening and will be managed by SRI Management, a company noted in the industry for nearly 20 years for its level of dedicated service, value and resident care.
