BJU Invites Community to Christmas Celebration

Bob Jones University invites the Greenville community to the annual Christmas Celebration Friday, Dec. 6, from 4-8 p.m. on the BJU campus.
“BJU’s annual Christmas Celebration is one of our most beloved traditions and we hope many from the Upstate will join us here on campus as we kick off the Christmas season,” said BJU President Steve Pettit.

BJA Advances to the 2019 State Middle School Mock Trial Competition

The Bob Jones Academy (BJA) Middle School participated in the South Carolina Bar Association Middle School Regional Mock Trial Tournament Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Greenville County Courthouse. BJA received a wild card bid to advance to the 2019 State Middle School Mock Trial Competition Dec. 6 - 7.

Bob Jones University to Launch New Academic Programs

The Bob Jones University Board of Trustees approved several new degree and certificate programs at its annual fall meeting at the end of October. The majority of the new programs will be offered beginning in fall 2020.
“We are excited to offer these in-demand programs to our current and prospective students. We continuously evaluate our program offerings to ensure they meet the needs of the 21st-century workforce,” said BJU President Steve Pettit.

Bob Jones Academy Earns Technology Innovation Program Award

Bob Jones Academy received the Technology Innovation Program Award (elementary school level) from the South Carolina Association for Educational Technology for its development and implementation of peer-to-peer robotics workshops. The award was presented during the annual South Carolina Educational Technology Conference on Thursday, Nov. 7, in Greenville.

Blair Carrier Selected as MTNA Finalist

Blair Carrier, a junior at Bob Jones Academy (BJA), will compete as a division finalist in the Southern Division of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Senior Woodwind Competition. Carrier earned this honor after placing first in the State Senior Woodwind Competition of the South Carolina MTNA on Nov. 1 at Newberry College.
