Sen. Ted Cruz and Dr. Ben Carson tied for first place in a poll of Greenville County Republican Committeemen, Monday night. Those eligible to participate in the poll represented every precinct in the county. They represent the views of more informed party activists that may be more familiar with the candidates than the average voter.

Donald Trump came in third, with 18 votes, trailed by Carley Fiorina with 14.

Marco Rubio finished off the double digits in 5th place with 10 votes.

Rand Paul received 6 votes and Jeb Bush 4.

Home boy candidate Sen. Lindsey Graham squeezed out 3 votes from the Greenville County Republican leaders.

Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal and John Kasich received one vote each. The remaining four Republican primary candidates received no votes.
