EASTON, Md. -- Thousands of soul-searching young people in the Middle East, including many from Muslim families, are using their smartphones to watch the first-ever Christian video-on-demand streaming service in the vast desert region.
Since launching a year ago, SAT-7 PLUS -- a Netflix-type service that streams faith-based programs 24/7 in Arabic, Farsi and Turkish across the Middle East and North Africa -- is growing by the day.
The free on-demand channel is a "game changer" for sharing the Christian message of peace and love in the troubled region where Christians often find themselves isolated from other believers and unable to talk about their faith openly.

Educators from Around the Globe Unite in ACSI Annual Day of Prayer

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Thousands of Christian educators around the world will join in celebrating the fifth annual ACSI Day of Prayer Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022.
The ACSI Day of Prayer is one of the Association's most popular events, focusing on advancing Christ-centered education through prayer. ACSI President Dr. Larry Taylor looks forward to the unification of schools around the world through prayer.
"There's no doubt that the past few school years have been unique and challenging, but God desires for His people to flourish in spite of the surrounding circumstances," he said.
The theme for this year's Day of Prayer is "Shalom," emphasizing the importance of finding contentment in Jesus no matter the cultural tides. According to the website, the theme also reminds individuals that all have a part to play in God's larger story.

Eastern European Mission Delivers 1.5 Million Bibles and Bible-based Materials to Eastern Europe During 2021

More than 650,000 Children's Bibles Donated to Students in Croatian Public Schools
HURST, Texas -- Eastern European Mission (EEM), a group that has steadfastly worked to supply Bibles to Eastern European countries for the last 60 years, broke its 2020 record with the distribution of 1,529,668 Bibles and Bible-based materials into 32 nations and 23 languages – free of charge – in 2021. Even in the difficult era of COVID, EEM's total 2021 number is a 15% increase from the previous year.
Additionally, as part of a multi-year program, EEM donated 650,000 Children's Bibles to students in Croatian public schools.
"It's easy for us to be overwhelmed by the numbers; however, they have purpose and are inspiring," said Robert Burckle, President of EEM. "Behind these incredible statistics are real people whose lives are forever being changed by the 'Good News' that is taking hold of their hearts and transforming their lives."

New Study Reveals Enormous Generation Gaps in How Evangelicals Like to Give to Charity

EXPORT, Penn. -- Evangelical Protestant donors under age 40 are extremely different from their older counterparts – and especially when compared with evangelical donors 70 and older.
The findings are detailed in The Generation Gap: Evangelical Giving Preferences. The study of over 1,000 American evangelical Protestants was released today by Grey Matter Research and Infinity Concepts.
Fifty-eight percent of evangelical Protestants give money to charities or ministries outside of their church. These donors were asked their preferences in eight different areas regarding giving. In every one of those eight areas, preferences vary substantially by age.
