LA MIRADA, Calif. -- As it marks 70 years of proclaiming the gospel to some of the farthest corners of the world, FEBC (Far East Broadcasting Company, www.febc.org), the pioneering Christian broadcaster, is in a Mark Twain moment.
Just as the celebrated humorist once noted that a report of his death had been "greatly exaggerated," so the ministry-whose vision statement is "Until All Have Heard"-affirms that its long-time radio focus is not only alive and well, but thriving, even as many claim the traditional medium's impact is in decline.

- By Christian Newswire
DRESDEN, Ohio -- Why would the Motion Picture Association of America give an R rating to a faith-based movie with no profanity, no nudity, no sex, no gore, no torture, and no glamorized violence?
It's called censorship.
"The Reliant" stars Kevin Sorbo (Hercules), Brian Bosworth (The Longest Yard), Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight), The Benham Brothers (War Room), and Mollee Gray (High School Musical). Their website describes the story: "Economic collapse precipitates widespread rioting and looting, forcing a 21-year-old lovesick girl to care for siblings in a stretch of woods bordered by lawless anarchy, wondering why a good God would let this happen."

Asia Bibi Finds Justice, but Remains in Danger
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Imagine living in a country where taking a drink of water could lead to your execution. That was the real-life nightmare of Asia Bibi, a Christian mother in Pakistan who, on a hot day in 2009, went in search of water on the farm where she worked. The other women refused to drink from the container, because Bibi isn't Muslim. That started an argument, and farmworkers insisted later that Bibi had made derogatory comments about Mohammed. They accused her of one of the worst crimes possible -- blasphemy -- and she was tried, convicted, and sentenced to death.
