Young Latino Protestants on the Rise; Conference to Support Hispanic Church Leaders
- By Christian Newswire
LA MIRADA, Calif. -- Young Latino protestants are rising as the fastest-growing segment of evangelicals in America. Biola University's 43rd Biola Hispanic Conference, held on September 24, 2022 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., aims to prepare church leaders to serve this rising generation.
"Hispanic American Protestantism in the US as a socio-religious phenomenon of the 21st century is expected to become not only the largest in demographics, but also the youngest as a movement," said Oscar Merlo, director of Biola University's Center for the Study of the Work and Ministry of the Holy Spirit Today and the conference.
Texas Fire Dept. Chaplain Axed for Biblical View of Gender
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
The former chaplain of Austin’s fire department says the liberal city dismissed him from his position over a blog that said it is unfair for men to compete against women in sports events — basing its views in the Bible. Now, he’s suing the department.
Andrew Fox served as chaplain of the Austin Fire Department from 2013 until last December. Fox had posted a three-part blog, titled “Willy Woke and the Chocolate Factory,” on his personal website, which reportedly has just under 1,000 subscribers. He dedicated the second article to “gender identity and how ridiculous it is becoming,” highlighting “the lunacy of men competing with women as women. The transgender ideology is blatantly hijacking the platform of athletic sport.” He explicitly grounded his views in biblical faith by citing numerous verses from the Book of Proverbs concerning fairness.
Blue Ovals and Infrastructure Boondoggles Are Targeting Tennessee
- By Kathleen Marquardt - American Policy Center
Tennessee is being overwhelmed by global public/private partnerships that are pretending to be green while, in truth, they are damaging to the environment and their real purpose is to redistribute middle class wealth.
Earlier this year, local activists in Tennessee, along with Mississippi and Arkansas, fought off the GlobalPublic/Private Partnership (GPPP) of “RegionSmart Development District that would cast a net of control over portions of all three states. Now we are looking at another big GPPP incursion into the Volunteer state. Ford announced that it is building 3,600-acre ‘campuses’ called cities that will be “the home of 6,000 new jobs, and will be total carbon neutral by the start of production.”
Lie Down With McChao and You'll Get Bit
- By Michelle Malkin
Here's the thing about Mitch McConnell and Elaine Chao. The granddaddy of Republican Beltway barnacles has inhabited the nation's capital in one form or another since 1968, when he worked as a Senate legislative aide. His wife, the daughter of a Beijing-kowtowing shipping mogul, snagged her first job in 1983 as a White House fellow under the Reagan administration. For a half-century, this Swamp duo has done out in the great wide open what Swamp things do:
Grift. Rinse. Repeat.

Are We Headed for a Civil War?
- By Star Parker
I wrote a column in 2011, as the presidential politics of the upcoming year were starting to unfold, with the headline "Why 2012 looks a lot like 1860."
The deep fracturing of the American electorate -- remember the Tea Party? -- leading up to the 2012 presidential election was starting to look like what happened in the presidential election in 1860, which occurred amid another massive splintering of the American electorate.
The issue of slavery in the 1850s -- whether or the extent to which it should or could be tolerated in America -- tore apart the fabric of common values in the nation, and the result was collapse.
Is Modern Environmentalism a Pagan Religion?
- By Stephen Moore
The great Rush Limbaugh used to say that "the modern environmentalists worship the created, not the creator." I was reminded of that after listening to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi once President Joe Biden signed the fiscally unconscionable $750 billion tax-and-spend Inflation Reduction Act, which gives another $369 billion to the climate change-industrial complex.
Pelosi (D-CA) claimed the wind, solar and electric subsidies in the Inflation Reduction Act would placate an "angry" planet. "Mother Earth gets angry from time to time, and this legislation will help us address all of that," the speaker said.
Is 'Autocracy' America's Mortal Enemy?
- By Pat Buchanan
In the aftermath of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, President Joe Biden declared to the nation and world: "We are engaged anew in a great battle for freedom. A battle between democracy and autocracy."
On her trip to Taiwan, Speaker Nancy Pelosi echoed Biden: "Today, the world faces a choice between democracy and autocracy. America's determination to preserve democracy here in Taiwan and in the world remains iron-clad."
But is this truly the world struggle America is in today?
Is this the great challenge and threat to the United States?

Activists Against CRT Showing Up At Pickens School Board Meeting
- By James Spurck
A group of Conservative activists is going to meet at the Pickens School Board meeting to support a mother of a student at Daniel High School in Pickens County. The mother is bringing attention to a book titled Stamped written by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi which deals with Critical Race Theory (CRT). This book is being used at Daniel High School in Easley, SC; and according to her, quite possibly being used by other middle schools and high schools of Pickens County School District.
What's In Your Public School Library?
- By Anne Schlafly Cori
Here is a great headline this week in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: "School librarians in Missouri pull books as new law allows charges for 'explicit' material". As the article explains, "The law goes into effect Aug. 28 and applies to both public and private schools. It was part of a state bill addressing various sexual assault and other crimes and creating a “sexual assault survivors bill of rights.” The law defines explicit sexual material as any visual depiction of sex acts or genitalia, with exceptions for artistic or scientific significance."

Inflicting Irreversible Damage on Teenage Girls
![Irreversible Damage Book Cover Irreversible Damage Book Cover](/images/Irreversible-Damage-Book-Cover.jpg)
There is a social contagion of insane evil sweeping the United States, Canada, and much of the Western world, and it is inflicting irreversible harm on thousands of teenage girls and devastating their families.
In 2007, there was only one pediatric gender clinic in America. Today there are over 300. Clinical gender dysphoria (confusion) is real, but in the past it was largely confined to young boys beginning at ages two to four. This occurred in only one in ten thousand young boys and resolved itself without clinical treatment in over 70 percent of cases.
Today, gender dysphoria appears almost exclusively among teenage girls, a full two percent of teenage girls nationwide, most typically those having social adjustment problems common among teenagers. According to science and social journalist and author, Abigail Shrier, it typically occurs among groups of friends in the same school classrooms. The prevalence of this social contagion may reach 15 to 20 percent or higher in some of the most vulnerable social and cultural school settings. Social media platforms are significant channels of contagion, where trans activists, often not trans themselves, push the idea that starting a course of testosterone will solve their problems. Dr. Lisa Littman of Brown University has termed the recent spike in transgender identification “rapid onset gender dysphoria,” an indication of mass social delusion.
Planned Parenthood's Planned Politicking: $50 Million and Counting
- By Suzanne Bowdey - The Washington Stand
While the IRS bulks up to come after conservatives, another “nonprofit” is robbing taxpayers blind and then turning around and using its freed-up cash to influence elections. And yet, Planned Parenthood’s racket never seems to raise an eyebrow in the federal government, which is apparently too busy harassing ministries who don’t take a dime of taxpayer money. But now that America’s biggest abortion business (and possibly the largest transgender hormone pusher) is announcing a $50 million dollar midterm election campaign, most Americans can’t help but wonder: Where do the federal dollars end and the campaign checks begin?
The Fascists Who Live Among Us
- By W.H. Lamb
"Hail to the State," or "Sieg Heil" to "The Fuehrer!" The Italian Fascists and the German Nazis were brothers under the skin. Left Wing extremists who tried to spread their poison over the world. Their descendants are doing the same today! It's called "The New World Order" or "The Great Reset." But it's the same old totalitarianism!
“If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools!” - PLATO (427 B.C.-347 B.C.)
Most Americans have heard the word “fascist” bandied about quite a lot in recent years. Every so-called “mainstream media” outlet is proclaiming that fascists are evil racists (they are both), noxious “right wing extremists” (nope) who are in league with former President Trump (not true) and his “bad, bad, bad” conservative/populist/Republican allies in the ranks of “The Basket of Deplorables”, as that truly despicable Deep Stater, Comrade Hillary Clinton, labeled us. (Before his untimely death, no less an authority than Rush Limbaugh said that Hillary was a communist, so I’m just using her appropriate title).
If People Acted Like The Government ... Protocols Are Paramount
- By Larry & Amanda Anderson
The State of Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife sent a letter to a home owner asking permission to access a creek on his property to document the decline in a certain species of frogs.
The property owners' response in the second letter is EPIC.
Dear Landowner:
DFWR Staff will be conducting surveys for foothill yellow-legged frogs & other amphibians over the next few months. As part of this research we would like to survey the creek on your property. I am writing this letter to request your permission to access your property.
Recent research indicates that foothill yellow-legged frogs have declined significantly in recent years and are no longer found at half their historic sites. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated and will help contribute to the conservation of this important species.

The World of the Left is Like a Well-Used Litter Box
- By Kat Stansell - American Policy Center
Anyone who has ever had pet cats will understand this reference immediately. If you have not, try to extrapolate, and take my word for a few things. The box can contain some pretty ugly “surprises”. It may look only slightly used on the surface, but when you dig…well, you know.
First, a litter box has a purpose. Things done in it get buried, often deeply. Second, the deposits always smell bad. Left uncleaned, the stench will fill the entire house.
The innocent animal uses a litter box to deposit its ugliest truths; most of the time, it hits the enclosed area, sometimes things are left outside the box – by accident or on purpose, one never really knows…. They always try to cover it up, though, regardless of the landing area. Cats do that because they don’t like their own stink.
How to Advocate for Your Student
- By Eagle Forum
Over the last two years, the pandemic lockdowns gave parents a daily inside look at what students were learning. It’s no surprise they didn’t like what they saw and took their grievances to school boards across the country. Now that students are heading into a new school year, parents must again be motivated to advocate for their child’s education. One way to do this is by championing policies that teach students the truth about history and the truth about their bodies as well as loudly opposing curriculums that push harmful ideologies.
The Real Nature of Science
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
Science is at the heart of the question of origins and the age of the earth. Evolutionists like to claim that science shows the universe evolved from a super dense super-hot state in what is commonly called the Big Bang, and that the Earth collapsed from a cloud of dust and gas about 4.5 billion years ago. They also claim that life formed naturally from lifeless chemicals and then evolved into all the living things we see today including man. They further deny any legitimacy of creation science. However, discussing origins or any other topic scientifically requires knowing what science is.
Starter Steps in Case Anyone in Washington Is Interested in Fixing Our Broken Political System
- By Neil Patel
One of the biggest reasons American politics have turned upside down over the past few years is growing numbers of Americans do not think leaders represent their interests. That simple sentiment underlies nearly every recent problem in American politics. Yet for some reason, almost nobody has engaged in the process of figuring out how this happened and how to fix it.
It's hard to trust elected representatives if you think they are in it to line their own pockets. Voters also don't trust politicians who seem to prioritize foreign interests or special interests over their own well-being. Those are precisely the sentiments many voters feel today.
The 'National Extremist Association': As Students Fall Behind, Teachers Union Attacks Parents
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
As students continue to struggle with learning loss brought on by school lockdowns, a public teachers union has taken out a new ad branding concerned parents “extremists” and instructing them to take their complaints “somewhere else.”
“We don’t agree on everything in New Jersey, but we all agree that our kids deserve a world class education,” says the ad from the New Jersey Education Association, the state affiliate of the nation’s largest teachers union, the NEA. “So, when extremists start attacking our schools — that’s not who we are. People who only want to fight to score political points should take that somewhere else.”
Rushdie Stabbing Reminds Us That Iran Is Still the World's Leading Terror State
- By David Harsanyi
Last week, a man stormed the stage at the Chautauqua Institution and stabbed British author Salman Rushdie in the neck as he was being introduced. The topic under discussion was "the United States as asylum for writers and other artists in exile and as a home for freedom of creative expression." Chances are exceptionally high that this was the work of a jihadi.
