A lot of people are talking about Impeachment to stop the lawlessness of the Obama Administration. Several alleged impeachable offenses have been compiled. However, virtually no one is doing anything about it.
The US House of Representatives impeached President Bill Clinton, however the Senate, controlled by Democrats as exists now, refused to try him. Democrats threatened to impeach President Richard Nixon; however, Nixon resigned to prevent the country from going through a painful impeachment process during a time when leftists had divided the country over the Vietnam War.
One of the alleged impeachable offenses by Obama is failure to enforce laws passed by Congress and signed by the president.
He has refused to seal the borders and enforce current immigration laws. It is predicted that if the Congress passes any form of immigration law, it will be used by President Obama to grant voting rights to 20 million or more illegal immigrants. This will allow Democrats to retain control of the Senate and take control of the House.
President Obama is using the Environmental Protection Agency to implement gun control, prevent drilling for oil, blocking construction of pipelines and dozens of other important matters that impact cost of living, business decisions and employment.
The Internal Revenue Service and other government agencies have allegedly profiled, targeted and harassed conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status and lied about it under oath before Congress.
There have been reports that the IRS is currently preparing new regulations to silence Tea Party and other Conservative organizations during the 2014 election cycle.
If the proposed regulations are put into effect, it will be illegal for American citizens with a 501(C-4) authorization to do the following:
1. Mention a candidate up for re-election within 60 days of an election. That includes every single member of the House of Representatives – you won’t be able to petition your own representatives.
2. Register voters.
3. Call for the election or defeat of a political candidate.
4.Hold candidate forums so voters can decide who would best represent them.
These proposed rules would not apply to labor unions, Acorn, Black Panthers, la Raza and other leftist, Progressive groups.
“The only way to stop President Obama from nullifying duly enacted laws is impeachment,” said Judge Andrew Napolitano on FOX News recently. “The problem is neither Congress nor the American public have the guts for it,” the Judge concluded.
“The president is doing the opposite of what he was elected to do. When Obama picks and chooses which laws, or portions of them, to enforce, he actually is telling people how to avoid obeying the law,” the Judge said.
Napolitano believes there are 11 million people in the United States who could be deported to their native countries, but Obama has told them: “If you do A, B, C, and D, I won’t deport you.” He is, in effect, telling them that they can break the law and suffer no consequences.
Senator Rand Paul has filed a class action suit against Obama over NSA surveillance. Napolitano believes the court will throw the case out and tell the Senator to have Congress begin impeachment proceedings.
The main reason there will be no impeachment proceedings initiated in the Republican-controlled House is that Republicans are afraid of a President with no restrictions and a lawless Attorney General.
In addition, the Judge said: “There’s sort of a cult around him (Obama) in the Democratic Party that he’s ‘our guy’ and he can do whatever he wants,” The president has said as much himself at Monticello.
Congressmen have no “guts.” Christian pastors are afraid to speak out much less take a public stand. That leaves you and me and the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 to defend our Constitutional Republic.
