Nearing the inevitable Sad Consequences
Despite the tremendous propaganda campaign still ongoing in most of the mainstream media and sponsored social media advertising “news,” the war is not going well for Ukraine. Ukrainian armed forces casualties have risen to unsustainable levels. “Fighting to the last Ukrainian” is looking more like reality than a foolish Biden Administration political boast of Ukrainian commitment to the American and NATO proxy war to weaken and destabilize Russia and bring about a Russian regime change suitable to Neo-con American interests. Various casualty estimates—from Macgregor and several others--of Ukrainian KIA and missing are running as high as 500,000. Amputees exceed 50,000. The Ukrainians are literally running out of manpower. The Ukrainians are having to draft—often with extreme coercion--teen-agers, women, and men in their 60s. One 70-year old Ukrainian tank crewmember was captured by the Russians. Civilian casualties have been relatively light for an intensely artillery centered war. According to the United Nations September 2023 report, just short of 10,000 civilian deaths have occurred, and nearly half of them have been in the Russian ethnic oblasts of Donetsk and Lugansk. Ukrainian artillery continues deliberate shelling of civilian business and residential areas there.

With U.S. government revenues rising, 2023 might have been a good year to get America's post-COVID-19 finances on track, but the budget deficit is still growing. You can thank overspending for this. It's also the reason we've had to live with inflation, higher interest rates and the threat of massive future tax hikes for another year.
That sets up 2024 as the time when Congress might abandon a dangerous idea that helped get us here. I hope they find a better idea to replace it.
The Congressional Budget Office's latest Monthly Budget Review for November reveals the alarming trend: despite a 19% increase in revenues, amounting to $107 billion, the federal budget deficit has swelled to $383 billion -- $47 billion more than the same period in the previous fiscal year. This surge is attributed to expenditures outpacing revenues by $155 billion.

Natural selection is frequently used by evolutionists as a magic wand that can accomplish anything that they need to. However, the capacities of natural selection are assumed and the most critical have never actually been demonstrated. Genetic algorithms, a type of computer program that uses a selection process to search through possibilities for a solution, have been touted by evolutionists as evidence that natural selection can make universal common descent evolution possible. However, when these algorithms are analyzed and compared to natural selection, they show that natural selection is completely incapable of doing the job the evolutionists require of it.

On January 11, 2020, I published an article entitled “The Quranic Concept of War.” This was basically a review and analysis of Pakistani Brigadier General S. K. Malik’s 158-page book, published in English in 2015 and entitled, The Quranic Concept of War. Malik’s book had an enthusiastic 25- page forward written by Pakistani Army Chief of Staff Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq who, following a 1977 coup had made himself President of Pakistan in 1978. Zia died in a plane crash in 1988.

Note: This touching story was published in The Times Examiner last December 2022. But it touched a lot of people. “Christmas”, as we all should know, is NOT about Santa Claus and his reindeer bringing us presents, nor about snowmen or “grinches”. It’s not even about “Charlie Brown” and his wonderful recitation of the true meaning of Christmas, right from God’s Word. (THANK YOU, Charles Schultz for your brave stand, long ago, against CBS). It’s not really about family gatherings, with special dinners, although they are usually memorable. It’s not about getting lots of presents, mostly stuff we don’t really need. Christmas is more about “giving”, more about focusing on one’s true faith and sharing it with others. It’s about doing, not just talking. Christmas is about----------well, I’ll leave that up to you to decide.

The charge is sometimes made the creation is claim that evolutionary scientists in the government are hiding evidence in support of Biblical creation. While there may be some that take this kind of position, they are a definite minority. This claim requires a couple of false ideas. The first is that interpreting evidence is 100% objective and that some powerful evolutionists see the truth and are hiding it from people. Neither one of these is true, nor doesn't need to be for creation to be correct.
