INDEPENDENT CONSERVATIVE VOICE OF
UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA

Republican Education Superintendent candidate Sheri Few today picked up an endorsement from Eagle Forum President Phyllis Schlafly and the Eagle Forum PAC.

“Common Core threatens our local schools with federal control and a left-wing agenda that minimizes individualism in search of collective results.  Sheri Few recognizes this threat.  Her nomination and election will be a catalyst for change throughout the entire nation to end Common Core and return education to parents, school boards and teachers,” stated Ms. Schlafly.

Few said she was “honored by Mrs. Schlafly’s endorsement.  Phyllis has been a champion and defender of the family and America’s most-respected leader in fighting for parental rights and against government intrusion into the education system.  It is her leadership that has made Common Core the national issue it is today.”

Eagle Forum was founded in 1972 with a mission of supporting traditional education and opposing the dumbing down of the academic curriculum.  Over the years Eagle Forum has exposed left-wing schemes to nationalize educational curriculum through programs such as School to Work, Goals 2000, No Child Left Behind and today Common Core.

Information about Sheri Few’s campaign can be found at her website www.sherifew.com.  The primary is June 10th with a June 24th runoff.
