Newman's Appeal of $17 Million Planned Parenthood RICO Judgment to be Livestreamed Today
- By Operation Rescue
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals will hear the case of Troy Newman v. Planned Parenthood on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
Pro-life journalists and activists, including Troy Newman, who serves as President of Operation Rescue and was a founding board member of the Center for Medical Progress, were sued by Planned Parenthood for exposing its appalling baby parts trafficking scheme in 2015 through an undercover investigation – a tactic commonly used by journalists.
However, instead of upholding their Constitutional rights to free speech and a free press, the court found that the pro-lifers had violated the Federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). That unjust verdict, which led to nearly $17 million in judgments and attorney fees against the pro-lifers, is now the subject of the appeal.

Under Biden, the Party's over for Moderates
- By Suzanne Bowdey - Family Research Council
Maybe to some people, Joe Biden's fixation with gender identity feels out of character. But to others, who've watched the president undergo his own radical transformation in recent years, it makes more sense. The man who stood in front of America and defended the rights of little children to change their identities has, in many ways, done the same thing himself -- splitting from decades-old policy positions to assume a completely different political persona. When a reporter asked about Biden's transition -- was he officially identifying as a progressive? -- White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki replied that the president "is not eager to be labeled." Well, Joe Biden may not know what he is, but at least we know what he's not: a moderate.

Disney Gets Tangled in Big-Picture Pushback
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
As much as it would pain the Left to admit it, Bob Chapek was right. The Disney CEO, whose back must hurt from bowing to so many LGBT demands over the last month, warned that getting involved in Florida politics would "divide and inflame." At the end of the day, it's "counterproductive," he tried to argue. Four weeks and a nationwide boycott later, the company and its extremist hijackers are learning a painful lesson: This isn't the conservative movement of 10 years ago. They're squaring off against a Georgia-hardened, nationwide parents-led rebellion that doesn't back down to bullies. Not anymore.

Hunter Biden to Dad in E-mails: Give My Pal a Job! 14 GOP Reps. Seek Answers in Federal Probe of Boy Biden’s Biz Deals
- By R. Cort Kirkwood - The New American
Hunter Biden’s Laptop from Hell is like a social disease: It’s the gift that keeps on giving.
More e-mails from the most famous laptop in the annals of laptops show that the younger Biden often used his father to get jobs for his friends — at taxpayer expense, of course.
Days after the New York Post revealed those e-mails, 14 Republicans, led by Representative Bob Good of Virginia, want U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to brief Congress on the federal probe into the president’s son.
Upshot: The Hunter Biden Laptop Scandal won’t die down anytime soon.

Misuse of Robert’s Rules “Point of Privilege” Highjacks Greenville GOP Officer Elections Meeting
- By James Spurck, Publisher
Due to EC’s Highjack, Slim Quorum was Lost and Election Meeting Forced to be Adjourned
After what appeared to be “finally” a smooth meeting, where local GOP members heard from candidates for various political offices in Greenville County, it came time to elect new Greenville GOP office positions. Most of these positions had been vacated by previous holders who no longer wanted to serve due to grievances that they had with the way business has been conducted in prior business meetings.
It all started once Chairman Jeff Davis handed the reins of acting chairman to 4th Vice-Chairman Griffin Callahan to conduct the election. As acting chairman, Griffin was taking nominations from the floor for 5th Vice-Chair. After the first nomination was given and seconded, the call for further nominations was requested.
That is when Eric Snyder, an Executive Committeeman from Graze Branch precinct, got up with hands full of notebooks, notes, and a drink mug in the other hand and declared Point of Privilege.

Feds Fine Wind-farm Company Millions for Killing Eagles — After Encouraging Wind Power
- By Selwyn Duke - The New American
Some might say it’s a lot of hot air. First “green” energy endeavors threatened the North Maine Woods and a pre-Columbian forest in Germany. Now comes news that wind-power turbines have been killing scores of bald eagles along with the more threatened golden eagle. The federal government has fined a company implicated in this, too. Yet critics may wonder: Shouldn’t the feds expect an avian body count when encouraging wind power, as it’s well known that those unsightly windmill blades kill birds?
The kicker: One of the government’s gripes is that the company, ESI Energy, is “taking eagles without obtaining or even seeking the necessary permit,” as if this makes a bird less dead or a species less endangered and should apply to unintentional killings.
