Stop The National Heritage Area Act
- By Tom DeWeese, President American Policy Center
For more than a decade I have been sounding the alarm on the dangers of National Heritage Areas. In fact, the American Policy Center (APC) is one of the only organizations to testify against them in congressional hearings.
National Heritage Areas (NHAs) are promoted simply as a means to honor historic or cultural events around the nation. Promoters promise that this will preserve our culture and honor our past as they preserve battlefields where our forefathers fought and died for freedom. And that they will preserve the birthplaces, home, buildings, and hallowed grounds for posterity.
In addition, proponents of NHAs promise that it will help to build a flourishing tourist industry to help local economies.
But none of that is true. Here’s why. My years of dealing with NHAs have shown me that they are simply a ruse to get conservatives to support federal land grabs.
New Senate President’s Business Paid Thousands by Local Governments
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
New S.C. Senate president Thomas Alexander reported a total of more than $850,000 in income over a 10-year period from Upstate public agencies through his office supply business, The Nerve found in a review of his annual income-disclosure records.
No one has accused the longtime Oconee County Republican of any wrongdoing. But, as The Nerve previously has revealed, some lawmakers over the years have made a lot of money off government agencies in their home districts.
And when Alexander dons the traditional purple robe to preside Tuesday over the start of the regular legislative session of the 46-member Senate, he’ll receive more state pay – plus new appointment powers – that come with the title of president.
Alexander, 65, who served in the S.C. House from 1987-94 before becoming a senator in 1994, was elected the Senate president following the death in November of longtime Senate Finance Committee chairman Hugh Leatherman, R-Florence. Then-Senate president Harvey Peeler, R-Cherokee, resigned his position to become the Finance Committee chairman, and Alexander was elected by his Senate colleagues as president.
The Secret Betrayal – The Sordid Story Of “Operation Keelhaul” and Gen. Dwight Eisenhower’s Crimes Against Humanity! – Part 2
- By W.H. Lamb
“The only difference between reality and fiction is that fiction needs to be credible.” - Mark Twain
In part 1 of this article I mentioned the fact that as early as December, 1954, an ex-candy manufacturer from Boston, Robert Welch, Jr., at the request of several friends with whom he had been discussing the background of General, and by then—President Dwight Eisenhower, had a discussion with some friends and business associates that turned into a letter that in 1963 became a self-published book titled, THE POLITICIAN. One of the chapters of that letter-turned-into-a-book was called, “Operation Keelhaul”. Except for those unfortunates who had survived that dastardly “crime against humanity” which occurred from just before the end of WW11 through early 1947, very little information regarding this horror was available to the American public without extensive research. Robert Welch was, to my knowledge, virtually the first writer who had done that research and was determined to inform a few of his friends and later, thousands of people, about one of the worst atrocities that had ever been perpetrated against large numbers of innocent people, atrocities that had been committed by people who should have known better—the American and British military, at the direction of top ranked American generals.
Dems' Comparison to Pearl Harbor Bombs
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Restraint doesn't come easy for Democratic leaders. When the chance came to rub the January 6th riot in Republicans' faces, they couldn't help themselves. They went too far. Despite a year of plotting and scheming, the desperate Left overplayed its hand on the Capitol mob -- turning a moment that could have been to their political advantage into yet another reason the American people see the Democrats as unfit to lead.
There were prayer vigils, hourly speeches, and a cable news network devoted to replaying the worst January 6th moments on a 24-hour loop. And still, their messaging failed. By the time Vice President Kamala Harris stood up and absurdly put January 6th in the ranks of 9/11 and Pearl Harbor, the Left had lost its audience entirely. "Certain dates echo throughout history," Harris said, "including dates that instantly remind all who have lived through them where they were, and what they were doing when our democracy came under assault -- dates that occupy not only a place on our calendars, but a place in our collective memory: December 7, 1941, September 11, 2001, and January 6, 2021."

Both services will be webcast live.
Anderson Alumna Helps Save Lives With Ventilator App
- By Andrew J. Beckner - Anderson University
An Anderson University communication alum was part of an award-winning team that created an app to train medical workers on the use of lifesaving ventilators during the peak of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Adina Lundquist, who graduated with degrees in communication and advertising in 2014, helped populate the app with training content centered around how to use ventilators manufactured by her employer, Medtronic. Ventilators are critical devices in the care of patients severely impacted by COVID-19.
In the early days of the pandemic, ventilators became in short supply and companies like Medtronic and others had to produce and distribute the machines at a rapid pace.
A Resolution for the Biden Administration
- By Veronique de Rugy
The new year often feels like an opportunity to correct past mistakes -- for example, improving one's diet or quitting smoking. This explains why 25% of Americans, and 40% of those under 30, make New Year's resolutions. Based on the latest poll from The Economist and YouGov, the Biden administration should adopt a New Year's resolution too. In particular, it should reconsider its domestic policy agenda. Americans aren't buying it.
YouGov is an influential international research data and analytics group headquartered in London. Pollsters asked 1,500 American adults about the state of the economy, the COVID-19 pandemic, inflation and more. Their findings show that people aren't particularly happy right now.
Why the Left Cannot Let Go of Jan. 6
- By Pat Buchanan
"Every Day Is Jan. 6 Now."
That was the headline over the editorial of 1,000 words in The New York Times of Sunday last.
On first read, I thought the Times was conceding its obsession and describing its mission. For the editorial began by bewailing yet anew the "horrifying" event, "the very real bloodshed of that awful day," the "once-unthinkable trauma."
Still, a year later, said the Times, "the Republic faces an existential threat," as the "Capitol riot ... continues in statehouses across the country, in a bloodless, legalized form that no police officer can arrest and that no prosecutor can try in court."
'Capitol Punishment' - The Movie that Reveals What Really Happened at the Capitol Building One Year Ago on January 6
- By Laura Orrico Public Relations, LLC
The Groundbreaking Documentary is Now Available Worldwide
LOS ANGELES -- The documentary film, Capitol Punishment, is told through the eyes of the people who were there on the ground, in our Nation's Capital, and shares with the world the true story of January 6, 2021. Everything that we are being told by the media is a lie and Americans are being persecuted to support that lie. January 6th was years in the making and the threat to the survival of America as we know it has never been greater.
Award winning actor Nick Searcy has teamed up with award-winning and inspiring filmmaker Chris Burgard to reveal the actual events on January 6, 2021 via a riveting documentary. Alarmingly, Nick and Chris also saw and filmed agent provocateurs pretending to be MAGA supporters.
Ask Your Senator to Oppose Eliminating the Filibuster
- By Eagle Forum
Senate Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is tired of doing the hard work of leadership, so he’s proposing a way to cut corners to eliminate the need to work across the aisle. Currently, the Senate is split with 50 Republicans and 50 Senators who are either Democrats or Independents who vote with the Democrat party. Most bills require a 60-vote threshold to end discussion and move on to a vote on final passage. Votes on final passage require only a majority vote. “The filibuster” is a procedural safeguard for the minority party that enables members of the Minority to keep discussion going in an effort to stall final passage.
Report: British Study Says Post-vaccine Heart Damage Worsens With Each Jab
- By R. Cort Kirkwood - The New American
A British study reports that myocarditis in men under 40 years old after a China Virus jab is worse than previously thought. The risk for serious complications increases after each inoculation.
The latest on vaccine dangers, reported today by Alex Berenson at Substack, confirms what mRNA vax pioneer Dr. Robert Malone has said. Young people don’t need and should not get the vaccine because the risk of serious injury from the jab is greater than that for the Asiatic pathogen.
The study should be particularly worrisome because colleges are forcing students to get jabbed, as is the U.S. military.
NJ Governor Murphy's Appointed Medical Board Circumvents Legislature and the Will of the People
- By Learn Northeast
CHERRY HILL, N.J. -- The Reproductive Freedom Act has proven to be a political albatross around the necks of the Democrat Party, and for some it has proved to be fatal. Certainly, in the case of Vince Mazzeo, who was defeated last fall and was a sponsor of the bill. Mazzeo chose to ignore the protestors demands to meet with him and discuss their grave concerns of the statutes of the bill. Seven seats have been lost by the Democrat Party from last November's elections including Senate President Steve Sweeny's whose opponent Edward Durr vehemently opposed the legislation.
Seemingly oblivious to the apparent trend, Governor Murphy, whose state has the most expansive existing abortion laws in the country, continues to press for its passing. Now, what many would surmise as the undermining of democracy, appointed officials who are unelected and thus unaccountable have brought about significant changes in reproductive laws that could not have been accomplished by the legislature. Governor Phil Murphy, being unable to garner the votes needed in the state legislature to pass the Reproductive Freedom Act has circumvented the legislative process and accomplished many of the changes through the Governors appointed medical board.
$5M in Bonuses Doled Out to Santee Cooper Employees
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
More than 1,300 Santee Cooper workers last year received “incentive” bonuses totaling $5 million, with outgoing president and CEO Mark Bonsall getting a $242,500 bonus on top of his $1.1 million base salary, records show.
All but 58 of the 1,383 employees of the state-owned utility who were making an annual salary of at least $50,000 as of Nov. 5 received the “incentive pay” last year, which averaged $3,774 per eligible worker, according to The Nerve’s review of records recently provided by the utility under the S.C. Freedom of Information Act.
Annual salaries combined with “incentive pay” made up total “cash compensation” for the year, utility records show.
SPLC: Give Them a Bench, They'll Take a Mile
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
They haven't managed to kill the filibuster or ram through their federal election takeover (yet), but Democrats still have plenty of tricks up their sleeve to sabotage the vote. Their latest idea? Stacking the courts with wildly extreme political activists. While everyone's distracted with COVID and the pile of other crises this president has created, the White House is hoping to slip a who's who of radicals onto one of the most powerful courts in the country. And almost no one has noticed.

Staunch Challenge – and Warning – to Liberal Politicians
- By Alveda C. King
Finally, the anti-American agenda of critical race theory (CRT) is being exposed, and its devout followers should take note.
Most recently we saw this in Virginia's rejection of CRT in its gubernatorial race. On one hand, you had a seasoned politician and former governor Terry McAuliffe telling parents they should not have a say in what schools teach their children. And on the other hand, you had political newcomer Glenn Youngkin vowing to keep CRT out of Virginia's schools.
Let this be a wake-up call for the elites determined to undermine our nation's greatness by indoctrinating our children with a radical, anti-American agenda—America's parents won't allow it.
AP Coverage: Only Spin Deep?
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
The Associated Press doesn't have an editorial section -- but they might want to add one, considering the radical opinions that they're masquerading as news. The latest example, an outrageous feature on state election reform by Nicholas Riccardo, was so nauseatingly partisan that it read like an internal strategy document from the DNC. The GOP's push for voter integrity, the reporter insists, isn't an effort to save democracy -- it's a plot to subvert it. And January 6th, he wants readers to believe, was just the beginning.
For the far-Left, it's a date that keeps on giving. The riot at the U.S. Capitol -- a year ago this week -- has provided all the ammunition the media needs to smear anyone working to erase the doubts about the fairness of U.S. elections. In the 12 months since that unruly mob, Democrats have rushed to paint every conservative trying to safeguard elections with the broad brush of treason. "They're laying the groundwork," former Democratic operative Mark Brewer claims in the AP piece, "for a slow-motion insurrection." How? By trying to ensure that everyone's vote is sacred?
Associated Press = Associated Propaganda
- By Michelle Malkin
If nothing else, the past two years have demonstrated with blazing clarity how the ruling elites live by one set of rules and impose an entirely separate set of rules on the unfavored, ostracized, dispossessed and deplatformed.
As a member of the print, broadcast and internet media for the past 30 years, I cannot emphasize enough how complicit so-called mainstream journalists are in perpetuating such double standards and stoking hatred of dissidents. The Fourth Estate will spare no one -- not even the dead -- in its ruthless pursuit of absolute power over political narratives.
Let us consider a widely disseminated hit piece by Associated Press investigative reporter Michael Biesecker published on Jan. 3. Here's the bias-laden title that reads more like an MSNBC op-ed whine than a straight news headline:
"Ashli Babbitt a Martyr? Her Past Tells a More Complex Story."

Restoring the Right and Gift of Life
- By The John Birch Society
While the right to life is being restored, California has doubled down by threatening to use Texas’s legislative strategy to get rid of abortion as a way to undermine the Second Amendment.
We’ll look into this, plus highlight some of the disappointing views some of the conservative Supreme Court justices have made known in a ruling in today’s Analysis Behind the News, where we provide the perspective and the plan to save American liberty and independence.
What's Jan. 6 Really About?
- By Star Parker
As we await findings and conclusions of the House Select Committee on the Jan. 6 attack, let's take a moment and do our own soul-searching about what is going on.
The House Select Committee is engaged in Washington's favorite pastime -- looking for whom to blame. The sidelight of this pastime is the pretense that things that are very complicated can be made clear and simple.
And the other side of the coin of the search for whom to blame is the refusal to step up and take personal responsibility.
The latter, unfortunately, is increasingly becoming a hallmark of today's culture and is exactly the opposite of the personal characteristic that built America.
Generals Defend Left's Distorted Narrative
- By Rod Bishop, Ron Scott, Ph.D. and Mike Rose - STARRS
The Washington Post published an article on Dec. 17 titled "Opinion: 3 retired generals: The military must prepare now for a 2024 insurrection."
It was based on conjecture, innuendo, and outright fabrication. The authors, all retired U.S. Army generals, acted as a Praetorian Guard to protect the false, prevailing narrative about the Right posing a grave threat to our nation and its democracy. It was propaganda disguised as scholarship.
To call a political protest, even one that turns into a riot, an "insurrection" is a serious matter. Insurrection, the American Heritage Dictionary tells us, is an "open revolt against civil authority or a constituted government ... specifically, the armed resistance of a number of persons to the power of the state." The Washington Post article claimed the riot was a "deadly insurrection," although the FBI investigated the circumstances and found no evidence of a coordinated effort to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election or overthrow the federal government.
New Lawsuit Alleges Horrific Treatment of Woman Who Barely Survived Her Tuscaloosa Abortion -- Citizens and National Pro-Life Organizations Call on the Alabama Department of Public Health to Shut Down Tuscaloosa Abortion Clinic Immediately
- By CEC For Life
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- On Saturday, January 8th at 10:00 AM, the Alabama-based organization CEC For Life, along with other national pro-life groups Life Legal Defense Foundation and Operation Rescue, will hold a press conference in front of Tuscaloosa's West Alabama Women's Center, located at 535 Jack Warner Parkway. The same abortion clinic recently sued for letting a patient nearly bleed to death after a botched abortion.
Last month, under the pseudonym of Jane Stone, a woman filed suit against WAWC for an abortion that took place on December 28, 2020.
The lawsuit alleges that Dr. Tamer Middleton's medical mistakes resulted in a lacerated cervix, perforated uterus, and other life-threatening injuries that caused Stone to hemorrhage internally. In the hours that followed, Stone alleges she was left to bleed in a recovery chair, despite loss of consciousness and pleas to call an ambulance. According to the complaint, an ambulance was only called when staff could no longer detect Stone's pulse. Once at the ER, an emergency hysterectomy was the only way to save her.
New Year's, New Fears over Biden Booster Mania
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
While the rest of the country turns the page on 2021, Joe Biden seems absolutely determined to repeat last year's mistakes. Barely three days in, the new year is not ushering in new confidence about the president's leadership on COVID. On the contrary, Americans are more skeptical than ever that this administration has any idea what it's doing. With Omicron cases piling up faster than D.C. snow totals, this president's response is typical: shoveling more confusion onto a crisis that his decisions have only made worse.
Union Bosses Against Union Jobs
- By Stephen Moore
Why don't the union bosses in America represent their union members anymore? Could it be because the union leadership has become more beholden to the Democratic politicians in Washington than the rank-and-file workers who pay the dues?
We saw an example of this betrayal of the workers not long ago when the United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters brass endorsed Joe Biden for president -- even though Biden openly opposed all fossil fuels and wanted to end the building of pipelines.
Talk about selling the rope to the hangman. The union bosses acted surprised that Biden's first act as president was to kill several thousand union jobs by killing the Keystone XL pipeline. And in recent months, the Biden officials have been on a crusade to shutdown Midwest pipelines that carry natural gas to the midwestern states.
Russia Is Not the Great Rival; China Is
- By Pat Buchanan
While all facts are true, not all facts are relevant.
And what are the relevant facts in this crisis where 100,000 Russian troops are now stationed along the Ukrainian border?
Fact one: There is not now and never has been a vital U.S. interest in Ukraine to justify risking a war with Russia.
History tells us that. Even as Ukraine was suffering in the Stalin-induced Holodomor, the terror-famine of 1932-33, President Franklin Roosevelt granted diplomatic recognition to the Bolshevik regime.
