On May 11, the Senate Rules Committee will hold a markup on S. 1, the Corrupt Politicians Act. The bill contains over 500 pages of overreaching federal government policies. If enacted it will not only disenfranchise voters but also make voter fraud more rampant. Day of Tears Resolution Sails Through Louisiana Senate

Seated six feet apart across a football field, yet bound together like no other class in decades, North Greenville University's (NGU) 2021 graduates celebrated their degrees on a beautiful foothills evening Friday, April 30.
With their families looking on from the stands in Younts Stadium – socially distanced but thankfully inside the campus landmark – the graduates were challenged to "listen to God."

Big government grows with new state agencies

No matter who’s in charge, state government in South Carolina just keeps getting bigger.
Three stand-alone state agencies created since Republican Henry McMaster became governor in 2017 – the departments of Veterans’ Affairs and Children’s Advocacy, and the newest agency, the Office of Resilience – would have combined total budgets of $173 million for next fiscal year, under the state budget version passed last week by the Senate.
