U.S. House Ignores Constitution to Vote for ERA
- By Eagle Forum
ERA is DOA
Today the House voted to remove the ERA’s 7-year ratification deadline (H.J.Res. 79). For Members of the House supporting H.J.Res. 79, this was a purely symbolic vote. The ERA doesn’t give women anymore protections than they already have. The 14th Amendment, as well as many other laws like Title IX, the Equal Opportunity Act of 1963, the Equal Employment Opportunity Discrimination Act, the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, and the Equal Pay Act provide women equal rights.

City Council Urged to Remove Confederate Flags from Cemetery
- By Terry M. Thacker
Patty Bynum of Greenville exercised her Constitutional right this past Monday evening to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Being the first on a long list of speakers who addressed the seven-member council on a variety of topics, Bynum expressed her dismay at the sight of a number of small Confederate flags in the downtown, city-owned Springwood Cemetery.
These flags, which have been placed there by private individuals, stand as sentinels beside the graves of the hundreds of Confederate soldiers buried in Greenville's oldest burial ground.

Dems Defend Abortion to the Ends of the Birth
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
"Can you look me in the eye and tell me that I shouldn't be alive?" That was the question 14 abortion survivors never got to ask America. Fox Sports, the host of this year's Super Bowl, refused to air their ad. Maybe they were afraid of creating controversy. Or maybe, they were worried about putting a real face on this thing called "choice." Either way, it's a question our country needs to answer. And Tuesday morning, Senate Republicans looked at their colleagues and did.

Heartbeat International Attacked by Soros-Funded openDemocracy
- By Christian Newswire
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The far-left organization openDemocracy published a thinly veiled "investigative" report in an attempt to smear the work and mission of pro-life pregnancy help centers, maternity homes, adoption agencies and medical clinics.
But the Soros-backed website neither substantiated its claims nor gave adequate time for them to be scrutinized.

Breakfast with a Side of Prayer
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
If there were ever a time the nation needed prayer, it's now. The morning after America's long impeachment nightmare finally came to an end, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) spoke for everyone when he said at this morning's National Prayer Breakfast, "The Lord works in mysterious ways. I do not think he could have picked a better day to bring us all together."

Congress Has Hands in Union Pockets
- By Eagle Forum
The past decade has been marked by a rise of states passing Right-to-Work laws. This legislation ensures that an employee’s job is not contingent upon the worker joining a union or paying union dues. Right to work laws protect an individual’s freedom from union abuses, like funneling union money to candidates they don’t personally support or by being prevented from advocating for their own needs and instead having to rely on union leadership to bargain for their needs.
