Tara Servatius Stressed Importance of Presidential Election
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
Tara Servatius, host of the TARA Show on WORD Radio FM 106.3 from 6 to 10 am on weekdays, discussed the importance of the upcoming presidential election with the Greenville County Republican Women’s Club, Thursday.
She discussed the Supreme Court Decision on Homosexual marriage and said court appointments would be the most important task of the next president with the retirement of conservative judges during the next 4 years.
Tara said the Homosexual marriage decision would impact much more than marriage. It will first surface with lawsuits in schools due to the “dignity rights” and “self-identity” provisions that have been little noticed by the public.

Senator Marco Rubio Draws Younger Crowd in Greenville
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
Senator Marco Rubio was 45 minutes late to his meet and greet in Greenville, Monday evening. He was greeted by a patient but enthusiastic crowd of about 300, and a majority of them were under age 40. Several of the younger volunteers came from out of town to participate in the event. One was from as far away as Virginia.
His theme was “what I will do as President.” He avoided controversy such as illegal immigration and no controversial questions were asked from the screened audience submissions.

Attacks on Southern Heritage Continue Nationwide
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
Confederate Monument Vandalized
From efforts to change the name of Clemson’s Tillman Hall because Ben Tillman was a segregationist, to banishing the “Rebel” name from the Byrnes High School ball teams, and digging up the bones of Gen. Bedford Forrest and his wife, unrestrained actions are becoming more vindictive and destructive.
Vandals and politicians wishing to revise history by destroying reminders of Southern and Confederate history are redoubling their efforts nationwide. Their efforts are virtually unrestrained by government officials; some of whom are encouraging and participating in the activities.
Parents and students at Byrnes High School in Spartanburg County have decided they are not going to be bullied and are taking a stand. They could be forced to comply by liberal courts that will eventually get involved.

How all Lawmakers Voted on the Flag Issue
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
The Times Examiner has had numerous requests for a complete listing of lawmakers and how they voted on removal of the Confederate battle flag from the Confederate Soldier Memorial. Following is a listing of Senate and House members, those who voted for and against, and those who did not vote.
There is a great deal of residual anger among constituents regarding the vote. It is not so much about the removal of the flag, but the callus and disrespectful manner in which it was done.

Trump Refuses to Back off Criticism of McCain as His Poll Numbers Rise

All Republican Candidates Except Ted Cruz pile on Trump for Criticism of McCain “Hero” Status
The Republican National Committee, the dominant media and all Republican Presidential candidates except for Ted Cruz have been criticizing Republican candidate Donald Trump since he began talking about the absolute necessity to close the Southern Border and deal with illegal alien criminals. The Republican Party backed by the Chamber of commerce that wants cheap labor wants to ignore the alien problem until after the election, hoping that they can out-promise Democrats and get Hispanic votes. Trump refuses to be silenced and forced to follow the party line.
Trump’s detractors thought he had made a fatal mistake and began predicting his demise after he deliberately attacked Senator John McCain during a question and answer session with Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa, Saturday afternoon.

Down the Slippery Slope
- By Sanuel L. Blumenfeld
NOTE FROM EDITOR:
This article was published August 8th, 1994. It demostrates the ability of Dr. Blumenfeld to predict where progressive educators were taking the American people – down the road to a dumb, ignorant electrate.
-------------------------
The story of how American education has become the awful mess it is today is a long one, with many important characters implementing crucial changes in pedagogical theory, ideologies, and worldviews. But if one wanted to reduce the story to a simple summation, one could say that the history of American education is really the history of a war between those who believe in traditional biblically based values, and those who don’t.
