New CIA Release Blames Rogue Ukrainian Intelligence Group
![CIA Nordstream Intelligence or Cover Story](/images/18-08/CIA-Nordstream-Intelligence-or-Cover-Story.jpg)
According to a New York Times article released May 5, 2023, and a similar article in the Nation, the same day, the CIA has released new information that a group associated with Ukrainian Intelligence agencies, with possible Polish help, disabled the Nordstream pipelines on September 26, 2022. The articles distance any responsibility by Ukrainian President Zelensky, Ukrainian leadership, or the Biden Administration. The articles also allege that Ukraine had secretly developed “very advanced” underwater warfare technology, and that its intelligence agencies had a budget of $4.0 billion. The motive was saving Ukraine, a major natural gas supplier, from economic disaster. A much less sophisticated version of this theme regarding a crew of six, including two divers, on a 50-foot sailing yacht, appeared in the New York Times in March.
Our Bible, Our Constitution, Our Christian Heritage – Part 2
- By W.H. Lamb

Last time we explored some possibilities as to whether or not our troubled country, the U.S.A., was originally established as a Christian-oriented nation by religious people who were mostly Christians. One thing is certain when delving into our history: The Constitutional Republicknown as the United States of America was deliberately NOT established as a “Theocracy”, and in fact our Founders were aghast at the notion of such a form of government (as I would have been). Nor was it founded as a “Democracy”, which our Founders, in their wisdom, recognized as one of the very WORST forms of government (it IS). Many of our modern-day politicians, feeble-brained Dumbocrats and RINOS that they are, seem to always forget this fact (or ignore it on purpose)! I trust that you, my readers, know the vital differences between a “republic” and a “democracy”, and WHY we should keep it that way! (For a thorough explanation of that subject, log on to <timesexaminer.com>— then under LOCAL COLUMNISTS on our home page click on my name for a list of my archived articles, and then scroll down to the archived articles for the title: “This is a constitutional republic, not a democracy. Let’s keep it that way!”, published on March 25, 2019.)
Richey Encourages Perseverance During NGU’s 2023 Spring Commencement
- By Billy Cannada - NGU
Encouraged to make a difference by using their gifts and talents to glorify God, 281 North Greenville University students had their degrees conferred during Spring Commencement ceremonies Friday evening at Younts Stadium in Tigerville.
“The only chance we have to give a glimpse of glory to God on this earth is to do something through Him that causes people to ask ‘why?’” said Furman Men’s Basketball Coach Bob Richey, a 2006 summa cum laude graduate of NGU, who delivered the university’s Commencement address.
“If you play it safe, you’ll never get there. This world needs people with conviction. We need courage. We need believers. We’re equipped to go make a difference because of the gifts God has given us, and He’s begging us to use them,” he said.
Ukraine Keeping West in the Dark on Counteroffensive Plans – Politico
- By Angeline Tan - The New American
Ukraine is hesitant to disclose plans for its anticipated spring counteroffensive against Russia to its Western allies, owing to worries that such information could fall into the wrong hands, according to a May 2 Politico report.
European officials interviewed by Politico admitted that Kyiv’s fears were due to the recent disclosure of classified Pentagon documents, allegedly leaked by Massachusetts National Guard soldier Jack Teixeira.
The leaked Pentagon documents, whose veracity has not been officially confirmed but generally assumed to be true, assessed Russian and Ukrainian combat readiness, casualties, loopholes in Kyiv’s defenses, placed Kyiv officials “on high alert,” the report asserted.
Michigan Supreme Court Embroiled in Pronoun Battle Prompted by ACLU -- Thomas More Law Center Joins Fray
- By Thomas More Law Center
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- On Monday, May 1, the Thomas More Law Center ("TMLC") filed its written opposition in the Michigan Supreme Court challenging the wisdom of a proposed amendment to Michigan Court Rule 1.109, which would require all judges in the state to refer to parties and attorneys by any personal pronoun they select.
Erin Elizabeth Mersino, TMLC's Chief of Supreme Court and Appellate Practice, authored the eight-page opposition to the proposed rule. She commented that the proposed amendment "is the ACLU's latest attempt to destroy the very fabric of our nation by subjugating our inalienable right to free speech to mandatory endorsement of its transgender agenda." The proposed amendment is so extreme, judges will no longer be able to make judgments on a case-by-case basis. Failure to use a requested pronoun could result in the judge being punished for violating the court rule by the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission.
Ban a Central Bank Digital Currency in South Carolina — Support H.4373
- By The John Birch Society
ACT NOW: South Carolina lawmakers are seeking to enact legislation banning Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) in the state.
House Bill 4373 (H.4373) is sponsored by Representative Kathy Landing (R-Mount Pleasant) and 20 other representatives.
If enacted, H.4373 would amend the state’s definition of money, found in the South Carolina’s Uniform Commercial Code, to exclude CBDCs — regardless of whether they are “issued by the United States Federal Reserve System, a federal agency, a foreign government, a foreign central bank, or a foreign reserve system.” The bill would also ban banking corporations from engaging in transactions involving CBDCs. This would effectively ban them within South Carolina.
Stop the Re-Write of Title IX!
- By Eagle Forum
The left seems to be on a mission to erase women from every facet of society. They have perpetuated the lie that there are more than two sexes that have seeped into our governing bodies. The most recent Title IX proposal from the Department of Education pushes this agenda and must be stopped.
The 51-year program originally was designed to give girls and women opportunities in education and athletics. Because of differences in physical makeup and privacy needs, institutions had to provide separate male and female spaces as well as sports teams. Now, the Biden administration has flipped Title IX on its head by allowing biological males to take over the fields and locker rooms that were reserved for women.
Jeffrey Toobin Revives the Oklahoma City Smear
- By Tim Graham
One way you can tell our most undeservedly prestigious media outlets are liberal is that Liberalism with a capital L has never been blamed for anything heinous. Mass killing -- like the more than 60 million abortions since Roe v. Wade legalized abortion -- would never be blamed on their political movement.
On April 19, 1995, the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma was blown up by a truck bomb, killing 168 people, including 19 children. It took just two days after the FBI tied Timothy McVeigh to the bombing for those prestigious media outlets to blame conservatives. The Sunday shows were unofficially indicting a "climate" of rhetoric.
Junk Fees Are Just Bureaucratic Junk Food
- By Veronique de Rugy
Any parent will tell you that forcing children to eat their spinach is no way to win a household popularity contest. Children don't care about the long-term benefits of eating healthy food when the alternative is the short-term thrill of sugary treats. Much to their children's chagrin, parents impose rules, like limiting the quantity of treats and making their receipt contingent upon finishing a healthy meal. Good behavior must be encouraged with appropriate incentives.
Moody Offers First Doctoral Program
- By Moody Bible Institute
CHICAGO -- In January 2024, Moody Theological Seminary will launch its first doctoral program in the history of Moody Bible Institute, a Doctor of Ministry in Preaching.
"Offering a Doctor of Ministry program in Preaching will enable our seminary to extend our educational reach and contribute to Moody's 2030 Vision of doubling our impact," said Dr. Winfred Neely, Vice President and Dean of Moody Theological Seminary.
"We have the right faculty; a renowned reputation in training world-class preachers, and a firm commitment from Moody leadership in seeing to the success of this new degree program," Neely said.
Dr. Dwight Perry, Moody's provost, agrees. "At the Moody Bible Institute, we believe that the Word of God is central, and central to our conviction about the transforming power of the preached Word," he says. "I'm excited because the DMin in Biblical Preaching represents the core of our mission of seeing the gospel for all people through the centrality of the Preached Word."
Hydroplate Theory
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
Hydroplate Theory was developed by Dr. Walt Brown posits that Before the genesis flood the earth had a double crust. An upper crust of granite and a lower crust of basalt. In between the two would be a layer of water consisting of more water than our current oceans. It does have the advantage that it overcomes some of the heating that would tend to result from any reasonable flood model. Its main advantage is that it explains a lot of what we see around the solar system.

A Historic Harvest -- Christ for all Nations
- By Christian Newswire
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Christ for All Nations (CfaN) has just completed an unprecedented week of coordinated events across Zambia. Over a two-week period, the trailblazing evangelistic ministry led by Daniel Kolenda will conduct large-scale evangelistic events in 11 different cities and districts throughout Zambia. This campaign marks a new milestone in the history of missionary evangelism.
Events in each of the 11 cities are hosted by a pair of evangelists, trained by Evangelist Daniel Kolenda and Evangelist Levi Lutz in the CfaN Evangelism Bootcamp. These co-evangelists carry out most of the ministry, while Kolenda travels to a new city daily to preach for one night in each event. This strategy allows maximum leverage of all CfaN's resources, infrastructure, and credibility, making it possible to conduct 11 crusades for nearly the same amount of money and time it previously took the ministry to conduct a single event. This strategy also provides invaluable experience to many other evangelists who are becoming experts in organizing, conducting, and ministering in mass gospel crusades themselves.
Cultural Corruption Marks Silicon Valley
- By Bill Donohue, Catholic League President
Silicon Valley has more than banking problems: the high tech industry is culturally corrupt. To be specific, all the talk about diversity and inclusion that the left-wing elites speak about is nothing but claptrap. In fact, it is one of the most bigoted places in America to work.
The left-wing obsession with anatomy and ancestry as markers of diversity and inclusion allows its proponents to completely exclude people whose ideas they loathe. That means conservatives and Christians.
Ukraine is lost - Biden starts World War III
- By Judge Napolitano & Ray McGovern
Judge Napolitano interviews a retired CIA analyst on the Ukraine War leak and the direction of the Ukraine War.
Ray McGovern lives in Raleigh and was a high-ranking CIA analyst who briefed at the presidential level, including the Reagan administration.
A very informative 30-minute video and often entertaining. Are Biden, Nuland, Blinken, Sullivan, and Austin blundering us into World War III?
The Dobbs Leaker Intended to ‘Kill One of the Justices,’ Expert Says
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
One year after the leak of the Dobbs decision, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito said the pro-life ruling made the conservative majority “targets of assassination” — a deadly outcome which a legal expert described as the “ultimate purpose” of the unauthorized disclosure.
Last May 2, Politico posted a draft of the landmark Supreme Court ruling, which returned abortion to the constitutional standard that prevailed for the 184 years of U.S. history before the controversial Roe v. Wade decision. A wave of pro-abortion violence swept the nation, targeting traditional churches, pro-life women’s centers — and the homes of the six Supreme Court justices believed to have crafted the decision. One year later, Alito said the still-unsolved release was designed to normalize the intimidation of constitutionalist judiciary.

God Hates Homo-Trans Sin
- By Winston McCuen - South Carolina
To push their agenda, sodomite groups are now funding billboards across the land that say, "GOD LOVES TRANS PEOPLE." While technically and Scripturally true, it is also technically and Scripturally true that "GOD LOVES MURDERERS AND RAPISTS AND CHILD MOLESTERS AND THIEVES, ETC., while He of course hates the sins of murder, rape, abuse and theft.
Trans Procedure Bills Signal Growing Consensus around Protecting Children
- By Dan Hart - The Washington Stand
On April 28, Montana Governor Greg Gianforte (R) signed into law SB 99, a bill that prohibits puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and genital-mutilating surgeries for minors. A similar bill was sent to the governor’s desk in Oklahoma on April 27. Both pieces of legislation passed their respective state legislatures by a wide margin, signaling the broad public support that these types of laws are receiving despite intense pressure from left-wing activists to torpedo the bills.
MTG, Florida Grand Jury Link Biden Family to Human Trafficking
- By Rebecca Terrell - The New American
The U.S. House Oversight Committee has evidence that President Joe Biden’s family is involved in human trafficking.
That’s according to a tweet from Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. Standing outside the U.S. Treasury building in Washington, D.C., she reported having reviewed more than 2,000 pages of financial records revealing a crime syndicate involving Biden’s family and countries such as China, Russia, and Ukraine.
Greene described evidence of shell companies set up to funnel money to the Bidens from foreign countries.
Send Network Announces 10,000 Churches Planted Since 2010
- By Christian Newswire
Church Planting Arm of NAMB Celebrates 745 New Churches Planted Last Year Alone
ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- The continent's largest church planting network, the North American Mission Board's Send Network, announced today that Southern Baptist churches have planted more than 10,000 new churches across Canada, the U.S. and its territories since 2010.
Last year alone, supported by Send Network, the Southern Baptist Convention's more than 47,000 churches worked together to plant 745 new churches.
"We are always excited to see an increase in churches planted year over year," said North American Mission Board (NAMB) President Kevin Ezell. "But our focus remains on the quality of the churches planted, which is why we're more grateful that the survivability rate remains strong. Our goal is to see churches planted that impact their communities for years and multiply to reach more communities where churches are needed."

A History Lesson for 2024
- By Star Parker
President Joe Biden has made his bid for a second term official, and the first big news following the announcement is his latest approval rating released by Gallup. It shows Biden's approval reaching a new low in his presidency -- 37%.
But let's take a quick look at history before Republicans start celebrating.
Gallup shows Biden's approval rating average for the latest quarter of his presidency, his ninth, at 39.7%. Gallup also shows where each president post-World War II stood in approval at the same time in their presidency.

Sinners in the Hands of an Angry Logic Professor
- By Winston McCuen - South Carolina
Nothing is more common in this fallen world than sinners defending or otherwise covering their sin. We all desire to appear good to others and to self; and sinners desire the same while continuing to sin. In a world with laws and governments rooted in a human nature wired by the Creator to resist sinful aggressions against persons and property, keeping up good appearance is vital to mask continuous sinning.
And what is sin? Sin is any want of conformity unto, or transgression of, any law of the one and only true (Triune) God, given as a rule to the reasonable human creature.
