Flaws in Naturalistic Planetary Formation Theory
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
You hear planet formation theory talked about as if it were proven fact immediately observable. The most they have are some pictures of stars that have clouds of dust around them with planets in them. So, they have detected dust around some stars are also have planets orbiting them and they call this confirmation of planet formation theory. However, this theory has many problems including the fact that planets are not always found where they are supposed to be.

Biden White House to Oust Conservative Reporters from Press Briefings
- By S.A. McCarthy - The Washington Stand
Amidst growing concerns over censorship, the Biden White House is changing its rules on press credentials, potentially forcing conservative reporters out of the briefing room.
According to the new rules, White House reporters must hold a press pass from the U.S. House of Representatives, Senate, or Supreme Court to maintain access to the White House briefing room. Starting July 31, existing White House “hard passes” will expire, leaving several reporters without access to press briefings. One such reporter is Fred Lucas, White House correspondent for The Heritage Foundation’s news outlet The Daily Signal. Lucas has held a hard pass since 2009 and has covered both Obama’s and Trump’s presidencies; in two weeks, Lucas will be without a White House press pass.
Chris Christie's Grade B Candidacy
- By Star Parker
Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is getting a lot of media -- way out of proportion to the impact he has made as a candidate, measured by his low standing in the polls and the very modest amount of money he has raised.
The explanation for this seems clear. The media loves his sharp and aggressive animosity to and criticism of former President Donald Trump.
But the American people are looking for a leader. Could Chris Christie be that man?
SAFE Act Explosion: 72% of Red States Now Protect Minors from Gender Transition Procedures
- By Joshua Arnold - The Washington Stand
As the 2023 state legislative season winds toward a conclusion, it’s time to analyze whether state efforts to protect minors from gender transition procedures were successful. The answer is a hearty “yes.”
Before this year, only four states had passed legislation prohibiting gender transition procedures on minors, which include irreversible removal of healthy organs and permanent sterilization through cross-sex hormones. As of Tuesday, when the Louisiana legislature enacted protections over the governor’s veto, 21 states have protections (one state improved on previously enacted language). Nearly three-quarters (72%) of Republican-controlled state legislatures have passed legislation protecting minors from gender reassignment procedures, and 18 out of 29 (62%) of Republican-controlled legislatures have passed a law this year.

Any loud noise brings her panic, revealing the immense trauma she's suffering. Hearing a sudden bang, Maryna hops into her mother's bed and cries "I'll never leave you, Mom."
Why NATO Was Obsessed With Ukraine And Is Now In A Panic
- By Larry Johnson
To answer the question in my title you need only look at two numbers — 1) Ukraine’s rank in terms of natural resources and 2) the size of Ukraine’s Army in February 2022. Since the end of World War II the West has viewed Ukraine as a critical piece on the global chess board for attacking and defeating Russia. The joint CIA/MI-6 effort to destabilize the Soviet Union, which started in 1947 with the provision of funds, weapons and training to Stefan Bandera’s organization, was crushed by the Soviets by 1952. It was shortly after that, following the death of Stalin in 1953, that Khrushchev gifted Crimea to Ukraine (1954). Was it a reward for Ukrainian assistance in wiping out the CIA-backed OUN uprising?

U.S. House Passes Defense Bill to Undo Wokeism in the Military
- By Eagle Forum
In Defense of Our Nation’s Defenders
Last week the House Republicans began the process to eliminate many of the woke policies the Left has been forcing on the U.S. military for years. Historically, the reauthorization of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) has been bipartisan, but the previous Democrat majority attempted to insert their agenda with language to provide on-demand abortions, taxpayer funded transition surgeries for transgenders, vaccine mandates, and drafting our daughters. This year, House conservatives are defending the armed services by making it clear our military is not to be used for radical social experimentation.
Disney Still Reeling from Blowback
- By Bill Donohue - President, Catholic League
Bob Iger has been hanging around Disney seemingly forever, and every time he quits, he re-retires (he's done so at least three times).
When he left as CEO in 2021, he managed to become executive chairman, keeping an eye on his successor, Bob Chapek. Last November, Chapek was shown the door, and Iger jumped back in the saddle as CEO again. He was supposed to retire at the end of 2024, but now that date has been extended to December 31, 2026. He definitely has a grip on the Disney board.
In 2021, Iger's total compensation was $46 million, more than double what he earned the previous year. His new contract includes an annual bonus equal to 500 percent of his annual salary. Disney chairman Mark Parker says he's worth every penny of it. But is he?
Crisis-Hit Lebanon 'Needs Miracle,' Christian Media Ministry Says

New U.S. 'super embassy' causes stir as Middle East nation battles deepening economic crisis

EASTON, Md. -- Lebanon "needs a miracle" as the nation faces a deepening economic crisis, says a Christian media ministry based in the region.
The Middle East nation between Israel and Syria has experienced surging unemployment, triple-digit inflation, a collapsing currency, rolling blackouts, and fuel shortages.
"The Lebanese people are really hurting,” said Rita El-Mounayer, the Lebanon-born CEO of faith-based, Arabic-language broadcaster SAT-7 (www.sat7usa.org). "We're praying for a miracle, and our hope is that many will turn to God in this hour of anxiety."
Progressives and Populists vs. the Credit Card Market
- By Veronique de Rugy
Central planning, never out of fashion on the left, is now more popular than ever on the right thanks to the GOP's populist takeover. This is why a recurring effort to intervene in the credit-card processing market is finding more support in the new Congress than it did in the previous one.
Interchange fees are charged by payment networks, such as Visa or Mastercard, whenever you use a credit card. Collected fees go to both the credit-card processing service and the card issuer. Card issuers must maintain and improve payment networks, protect data, combat fraud and bear the risk of debtor default. Fees help cover all of this.

Much of the Hot Air Is Coming From Washington
- By Stephen Moore
Baby, it's hot outside.
Right on cue, a New York Times headline links this surge in temperatures to "climate change."
Temperatures have climbed to well over 100 F in Las Vegas, Arizona, much of Texas, and New Mexico in recent weeks. In Phoenix, the heat wave is the worst since 1974.
Is The New York Times right? Is this climate change? Of course, yes. The climate on Earth has been changing since the Big Bang created this giant rock orbiting the sun.
RFK Jr. Pleads with Fellow Democrats for More Civility and Less Censorship
- By Dan Hart - The Washington Stand
A fiery hearing held Thursday by the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the “Weaponization of the Federal Government” unexpectedly became an opportunity for Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to reflect on civility and the seminal importance of free speech in the wake of Democratic committee members accusing him of being racist and anti-Semitic.
In his opening statement, Kennedy announced that he would be setting aside his prepared remarks so that he could address the accusations of racism and anti-Semitism leveled at him by ranking member Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-V.I.), Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schulz (D-Fla.), and others. Kennedy’s testimony ended up becoming an impassioned plea for Americans of all political persuasions to become more empathetic of each other and to have greater respect for the free speech protections enshrined in the Constitution.
Slavery in Fact and Fiction
- By Mike Scruggs
A Historical Perspective on American Slavery
Slavery is one of those subjects of American history that is highly charged emotionally and wrapped in the sensitivities of both historical and modern political agendas. Any discussion of slavery is unfortunately very much bound by the chains of modern political correctness and woke cancel-culture. This severely hinders a historically accurate and realistic perspective on American slavery. Unvarnished and uninhibited truth on this important aspect of American history is sorely needed.
The image of American slavery in the minds of most people today is one of chains, bullwhips, cruelty, and arrogant human abuse. This was often true of the transportation of slaves associated with the slave trade but was largely untrue of the practice of slavery on American shores. The actual practice of slavery in America was in the vast majority of cases considerably more benign than its modern image. There were, of course, many inherent flaws in slavery as a social and economic system that limited social and economic justice and opportunity. Some inexcusable human abuses did occur under American slavery and should not be condoned, but such abuses were far less common than generally assumed. Even Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin, based principally on accounts of runaway slaves, Southern newspaper records of slave masters prosecuted by Southern state governments, and only very limited firsthand familiarity with the South, gives a more balanced picture of slavery than the common modern image.
Is “Abandonment Theology” Really Scriptural?
- By W.H. Lamb

“The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: It connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity.”
So said the 6th President of the U.S., John Quincy Adams, on July 4, 1821. I’ve read that quote often in the past, and I’ve always believed it to be both insightful and truthful. I’ve long assumed that most Americans of the “experienced” variety (i.e. those who are as ‘old as rocks’, like me) always endorsed the accuracy of Adams’ statement. I’m not quite as confidant that our younger fellow citizens subscribe to that sentiment, or have even heard of President John Quincy Adams, and lately I’m increasingly concerned that Americans of all ages no longer value the wisdom of our “elders” and our Founders. Let me share some of my concerns with you.
Should Legal Documents Be Accurate?
- By Anne Schlafly, Eagle Forum Chairman
The "trans" phenomenon defies science. Instead of defining sex through biology, one's sex is now determined by time and space, according to the activists. In this context, time and space are subjective emotions and not scientific terms. "I feel" has replaced "I am." Feelings are not science.
A birth certificate, a driver's license, and a passport are legal documents. These documents ought to be accurate. These documents should not be manipulated according to feelings. Kansas has recently passed a law that defines males and females at birth by their biology. What a radical notion of using the sex characteristics of humans as the definition of biological sex! Biology, not ideology, should define sex.

Lunar Recession and the Age of the Earth - Part 7
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
In this final installment in this series on lunar recession, in an effort to be thorough and to give the 4.5 billion year figure every possible chance a simulation was run specifically so as to match the Paleontological Data. However, the results only make matters worst for the 4.5 billion year figure because it not only fails to save the figure but actually raises more problems for it.
This chart shows how this backward projection goes for the number of days in a year as compared to the old Earth proponents' own Paleontological Data. While it obviously fits that data it happens by artificially adjusting the phase angle (θ) specifically to fit it and not based on any actual geological bases.

No US Military Intervention in Ukraine
- By The John Birch Society
On Friday, the U.S. Department of Defense announced it would further escalate U.S. military aid to Ukraine, this time sending $800 million in arms, including cluster bombs. Instead of spending vast sums of money on Ukraine, including to deliver deadly military hardware, the United States must return to the traditional foreign policy of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. Contact your U.S. representative and senators, and urge them to end all U.S. assistance to Ukraine, and to pass H.Res.113 as a first, initial step.
Members of the U.S. House of Representatives are seeking to pass a resolution calling for the end of all U.S. material support for Ukraine. It is imperative that the House pass this resolution, and that the Senate introduces and passes a similar resolution.
God, Leibniz, and this Best Possible World
- By Winston McCuen - South Carolina
Most people do not take the trouble to understand things at their deepest level. They lack either interest or ability, or both. But philosophers, as men who aim and claim to understand things more deeply, are rare; and true philosophers, for reasons Plato gave in the Republic, are rarer still.
Philosophy done rightly is a central part of a broader Christian wisdom that takes all truths captive (2 Corinthians 10:5). The ruling or architectonic art and science, philosophy is inquiry into the nature of ultimate reality. By seeing and describing for humanity the nature and works of God, the true philosopher, as Augustine says in the City of God, gives the highest glory to God by his loving obedience to the Triune God's command to take all truths captive.

PTA Pushing Transgender Ideology: The Parent Teacher Association Turns on Parents
- By Capitol Resource Institute (CRI)
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The California State PTA is co-sponsoring a bill that is swiftly making its way through the legislature in California. AB 957 seeks to establish a framework for parenting in the state by enshrining into law that failing to affirm a child's self-identified gender will be considered detrimental to their well-being.
Under this proposed legislation, parents who do not affirm their child's chosen gender identity may be deemed to be engaging in actions that can be equated with child abuse.
If AB 957 is signed into law by the Governor, parents will be compelled to adopt the state-approved stance on gender identity or risk losing custody of their child.
