Hunter Biden to Dad in E-mails: Give My Pal a Job! 14 GOP Reps. Seek Answers in Federal Probe of Boy Biden’s Biz Deals
- By R. Cort Kirkwood - The New American
Hunter Biden’s Laptop from Hell is like a social disease: It’s the gift that keeps on giving.
More e-mails from the most famous laptop in the annals of laptops show that the younger Biden often used his father to get jobs for his friends — at taxpayer expense, of course.
Days after the New York Post revealed those e-mails, 14 Republicans, led by Representative Bob Good of Virginia, want U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to brief Congress on the federal probe into the president’s son.
Upshot: The Hunter Biden Laptop Scandal won’t die down anytime soon.
Should We Commit to Fight Russia -- for Finland?
- By Pat Buchanan
The prime ministers of Sweden and Finland, Magdalena Andersson and Sanna Marin, both signaled Wednesday that they will likely be applying for membership in NATO.
The "prospect" is most "welcome," says The Washington Post: "Finland and Sweden Should Join NATO."
The editorial was titled "A Way to Punish Putin."
Before joining the rejoicing in NATO capitals, we might inspect what NATO membership for these two Nordic nations would mean for the United States.
How History Will View the Biden Years
- By Neil Patel
When historians study the disaster that was the Biden administration, they will find many factors that contributed to the historic level failure we are witnessing. At the top of the list is a president who is clearly just not up to the job. Whether due to age, cognitive decline or general ineptitude, Joe Biden has not been able to lead America. Nobody wants a weak president. People can smell weakness, and Biden reeks of it. The president put himself in a further hole by surrounding himself with a young staff driven more by a rigid, left-wing ideology than a desire to help the lives of everyday Americans. With a leader seemingly too weak to temper his team's radical ideas, the results have been catastrophic.
Evidence an Abortion Clinic in the Nation’s Capital is Breaking Federal Law
- By Eagle Forum
Earlier this month, members of the Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU) made a gruesome discovery outside the Washington Surgi-clinic, an abortion clinic, in Washington, D.C. While there, members of PAAU noticed a truck from Curtis Bay Medical Waste Services, a company that disposes of medical waste.
BJU Communication Students Present at 2022 SSCA Convention
- By Randy Page - BJU
Three graduate students—Erica Connors, Patricia Duarte and Ashlyn Hunt—in the communication studies program at Bob Jones University presented academic papers at the 92nd annual Southern States Communication Association (SSCA) Convention held April 6-10 at the Hyatt Regency Greenville.
Prior to the convention, students from across the region submitted papers for consideration in the SSCA’s competitive, blind review process. Erica Connors ("Culture and Community: Exploring Intercultural Competence through Diversity”); Patricia Duarte (“Knowledge, Mindfulness, and Skill: How People with Transnational Identity Learn to Navigate Workplace Dynamics”) and Ashlyn Hunt (“‘I Just Want to be Green’: Exploring how Third Culture Kids Experience Belonging") presented their research during panel discussions.
McMaster reports $64K in gifts, covered trip expenses in ’21
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Gov. Henry McMaster reported a collective $64,130 in gifts and covered trip expenses last year – more than half of the total funded by the Republican Governors Association, The Nerve found in a review of his latest income-disclosure report.
McMaster in 2021 received 116 gifts totaling $31,955, ranging from a $5 magazine to a $15,000 painting, according to his statement of economic interests (SEI) filed March 30 with the State Ethics Commission. In comparison, McMaster reported receiving a total of $87,695 in gifts from 2017 through 2020, as The Nerve revealed last year.
GLSEN's Groomers in Plain Sight
- By Michelle Malkin
Everything old is new again as a new generation of parents takes on kiddie-porn curriculum producers masquerading as anti-bullying crusaders. So let me repeat a warning I've issued repeatedly to families across the country: "Diversity." "Tolerance." "Safety." If a corporate-funded educational nonprofit targeting K-12 students employs those weasel words, get your kids as far away as possible, start following the money and stop being afraid.
Consumer Financial Protection Gone Awry
- By Star Parker
The crises of recent years tend to erase from memory those that preceded them.
One, as you may recall, was the financial collapse of 2008 -- a collapse deemed by many as the worst since the Great Depression.
That collapse swept into power a government like the one we have now -- the White House and both houses of Congress controlled by Democrats.
Newly elected President Barack Obama appointed then-Rep. Rahm Emanuel as his chief of staff, who made popular the saying, "Never let a serious crisis go to waste."
GOP Plays Hardball on Girls' Sports, Trans Treatments
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
There are plenty of ways to end up in the doghouse with voters, but Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb (R) certainly found the fastest: vetoing a bill on girls' sports. Two weeks into the blowback, the governor is still trying to dig out of the hole he created for himself. But based on the latest polling, he's going to need a lot bigger shovel.
Fewer than one in five Indiana voters approve of Holcomb now, a dramatic turn that shows just how significant the transgender issue has become. In Indiana, where the bill had 65 percent support (54 percent of which was categorized as "strong"), most people couldn't believe that the governor would stake out such a wildly unpopular position. And yet, Holcomb decided to follow the likes of South Dakota's Kristi Noem (R), who incurred the wrath of the entire Republican Party last year when she caved on a similar bill at the last minute -- betraying voters and stunning everyone who assumed she was made of stronger stuff.
Message From Ukraine -- Nukes Do Deter
- By Pat Buchanan
When he arrived at Christ the Savior Cathedral to pay his respects to the ultra-nationalist Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who had died of COVID-19, Russian President Vladimir Putin carried a clutch of red roses.
The man beside him was carrying a briefcase.
That briefcase appeared to be Russia's version of the "football" that is carried by a military aide to U.S. presidents and contains the codes for launching strategic nuclear weapons.
French King Louis XIV had stamped upon his cannon the inscription, "Ultima Ratio Regum" -- The Last Argument of Kings.
Misuse of Robert’s Rules “Point of Privilege” Highjacks Greenville GOP Officer Elections Meeting
- By James Spurck, Publisher
Due to EC’s Highjack, Slim Quorum was Lost and Election Meeting Forced to be Adjourned
After what appeared to be “finally” a smooth meeting, where local GOP members heard from candidates for various political offices in Greenville County, it came time to elect new Greenville GOP office positions. Most of these positions had been vacated by previous holders who no longer wanted to serve due to grievances that they had with the way business has been conducted in prior business meetings.
It all started once Chairman Jeff Davis handed the reins of acting chairman to 4th Vice-Chairman Griffin Callahan to conduct the election. As acting chairman, Griffin was taking nominations from the floor for 5th Vice-Chair. After the first nomination was given and seconded, the call for further nominations was requested.
That is when Eric Snyder, an Executive Committeeman from Graze Branch precinct, got up with hands full of notebooks, notes, and a drink mug in the other hand and declared Point of Privilege.
Letter to Editor Regarding Local GOP Meeting Article by Publisher
- By Yvonne Julian - Greenville, SC
This letter is in response to your article about our Greenville County Republican Party monthly meeting on Monday, April 4th.
I felt your letter accurately documented the events of our meeting. However, should you want to give your readers a more comprehensive picture of what is going on with the new Greenville County Republican Party, I would like to share more about our philosophy and what we do in addition to meeting monthly.
We strongly emphasize certain elements of the Republican platform.
We believe that non-discrimination applies not only with regard to race and religion, but also allowing citizens who are not professional politicians, their surrogates, or members of traditional ruling groups to be part of the process and have their opinions heard-that is, listening to the voice of We The People.
A Must Watch Interview with the Dr. Who Invented the mRNA Gene Therapy "Jab"
- By EpochTV
“There are two hills I am willing to die on. One of them is erosion of free speech. The other one is children’s vaccination.”
This is what Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of the mRNA gene transfer technology, is willing to dedicate his life to, even at the cost of his career.
The newly released documentary episode from Headwind will walk us along Dr. Malone’s path. What awakened him to do more with his life? What is the sense of obligation that gives him the courage to make the world better?
Feds Fine Wind-farm Company Millions for Killing Eagles — After Encouraging Wind Power
- By Selwyn Duke - The New American
Some might say it’s a lot of hot air. First “green” energy endeavors threatened the North Maine Woods and a pre-Columbian forest in Germany. Now comes news that wind-power turbines have been killing scores of bald eagles along with the more threatened golden eagle. The federal government has fined a company implicated in this, too. Yet critics may wonder: Shouldn’t the feds expect an avian body count when encouraging wind power, as it’s well known that those unsightly windmill blades kill birds?
The kicker: One of the government’s gripes is that the company, ESI Energy, is “taking eagles without obtaining or even seeking the necessary permit,” as if this makes a bird less dead or a species less endangered and should apply to unintentional killings.
Biden Wants to Regulate Everything -- Even Your Air Conditioning
- By Stephen Moore
Once upon a time, the mantra of the libertarian Left was "keep the government out of the bedroom."
President Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi want to regulate any gadget or appliance with an electric switch that turns on in your house or your driveway. New Department of Energy rules will dictate the amount of water that comes out of your showerhead, how much warm air comes out of your heater and how much cool air comes out of air conditioners. There is even talk about gadgets monitoring your home's temperature in the winter and summer months.
Jared Polis Signs One of World's Most Extreme Pro-Abortion Bills While the World Recoils in Shock at Newly Discovered Dead Baby Corpses Discarded by D.C. Abortion Mill
- By Truth & Liberty Coalition
Christopher, Harriet, Ángel, Holly, and Phoenix.
Those are the names given to five children allegedly killed by an abortionist near or at term – whose remains were recently recovered in the Washington, DC, area by pro-life activists. The five were among 115 babies' bodies allegedly discarded by an abortion clinic and scheduled to be incinerated at a Maryland power plant.
The extremely graphic, gruesome, and deeply disturbing images of those five children have now been made public.
The Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising organization, whose members turned the remains over to authorities, said in a press release, "Their late gestational ages as well as their apparent sustained injuries potentially show violations of the Partial Birth Abortion Act as well as the Born Alive Infants Protection Act which are federal crimes."

Behind the Bucha Massacre
- By Mike Scruggs
Putin’s Terrorist Campaign in Ukraine
Bucha is a small city of 37,000 about 15 miles northwest of the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, bordering the Hostomel (Antonov) Airport. It was captured by Russian forces on March 12 and recaptured by the Ukrainian Army on March 31.
According to interviews with Bucha residents conducted by the anti-war Russian journal website, Meduza, Bucha became directly involved in the war on March 4, when a column of Russian equipment passed through the center of Bucha on its way to Irpin. One witness told Meduza that “Our [Ukrainian] artillery “finished them off” from an Irpin checkpoint, destroying most of their equipment — they literally burned it to the ground.”
“The city had a territorial defense force, and they started shooting. They [the Russian troops] responded by shooting straight at apartment buildings. During the shooting, a fire broke out in my building after a BRDM (Armored Reconnaissance and Patrol Vehicle) fired a shell at the third story. I live on the fourth.”
Covid Hospitals: The New Killing Fields?
- By Rebecca Terrell - The New American
Imagine that doctors tie your daughter down to a bed and administer increasing doses of drugs in a lethal combination until she turns cold, stops breathing, and dies. That horrifying scenario is what the father of 19-year-old Grace Schara described as happening — not in 1940s Nazi Germany — but last October in a Wisconsin hospital.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now numbers Grace among more than one million Covid deaths nationwide in the past two years. Seven days before she died, the hospital admitted her with Covid, but her father believes the drug overdose, not the disease, killed her. Many medical professionals he has consulted agree.
Biden's Trans Obsession: A Tough Fact to Follow?
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Joe Biden did warn us. When he ran for president, there were a lot of issues his campaign happily downplayed. Transgender extremism wasn't one of them. From tweets to townhalls, Biden couldn't have made it clearer that he'd be bringing an LGBT focus with him to the White House. The media tried to run interference -- insisting Biden's words had been twisted or painting conservatives as lying alarmists. Now, a year and a half into his administration's gender-twisting twilight zone, we know who was lying. And it wasn't Joe Biden.
A Trojan Horse Is Stalking Our Nation – Beware Of Pseudo-Conservatives Bearing “Constitutional” Panaceas – Part 4
- By W.H. Lamb
U.S. CONSTITUTION—ARTICLE V1—CLAUSE 2:
“This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof, and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE UNITED STATES, shall be the supreme law of the Land, and the Judges in every State shall be BOUND THEREBY, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary, notwithstanding.” (Emphasis mine—whl).
There’s an old “tool” hidden in the above Clause 2 of Article V1—IT’S A POWERFUL TOOL CALLED NULLIFICATION! It doesn’t require another amendment to our constitution. It sure doesn’t require some long, drawn out, very controversial, and DANGEROUS, constitutional convention triggered by Article V and its gullible “Convention of States” crowd. The principle of “nullification” that our State lawmakers could---and must---use to enforce our constitution has always been there, incorporated in that document from the beginning by our very wise Framers.
Hundreds of Millions in COVID Funds Remain Unspent by Health Agency
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Of the more than $1 billion in state and federal funding provided to the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control to combat the coronavirus outbreak that hit South Carolina two years ago, nearly half of it remained unspent through February, The Nerve found in a review of agency records.
In documents submitted by DHEC at last week’s meeting of the state Joint Bond Review Committee (JBRC) – a 10-member legislative panel chaired by Rep. Murrell Smith, R-Sumter – the agency said that as of Feb. 28, it had spent a total of $636.3 million, including $333.3 million on testing, $134.3 million for personnel costs, $68.3 million on vaccination efforts, and $33.7 million for contact tracing.
As of April 2, confirmed COVID-19 deaths and cases statewide since the start of the pandemic totaled 15,045 and 1.1 million, respectively, according to DHEC records.
Every Election Matters
- By Anne Schlafly Cori - Eagle Forum
The day after an election is the perfect time to prepare for the next election. Lick your wounds, do an analysis, and get ready for the next one.
Several contested races for school board were decided in my community this week. We were very optimistic that we were riding a wave of parent outrage that we had seen expressed in Loudoun County, Virginia, and San Francisco, when entrenched school board members were ousted by the voters. In the greater Saint Louis area, we had some wins and, unfortunately for the students, we had some losses.
Shanghai Now Under Severe Covid Lockdown
- By Charles Scaliger - The New American
While world attention is riveted on Ukraine, another great crisis is building in the People’s Republic of China. For more than a week, the entire city of Shanghai has been on total lockdown in response to an out-of-control Covid/Omicron outbreak that has engulfed China’s (and the world’s) largest city. It all began in early March, when locally transmitted cases of the Omicron variant, apparently traceable to a huge outbreak in Hong Kong, began cropping up all over Shanghai.
Because of the city’s crucial role in the Chinese and world economy, Chinese authorities were reluctant to impose on Shanghai what has been imposed in the past on other, lesser Chinese cities such as Wuhan and Xi’an — namely, a total lockdown. Individual neighborhoods and residential areas across Shanghai were locked down aggressively in response to local cases, but the city remained largely open for business.
FRC Calls for D.C. Autopsy on Five Aborted Babies, Possibly Killed by Partial-Birth Abortion or after Being Born Alive
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- Family Research Council today called for the D.C. medical examiner to conduct an autopsy of the five aborted babies whose remains were recovered from Washington Surgi-Clinic. These five aborted babies may have been killed in violation of the federal Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act or the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act.
Multiple physicians who evaluated the remains of the five aborted babies recovered from Santangelo's clinic have speculated that there may be evidence of the abortionist committing illegal partial-birth abortions or even killing babies that were delivered alive. Cesare Santangelo, the abortionist at Washington Surgi-Clinic, has a history of "bad outcomes related to abortion" that led to his investigation by the D.C. Board of Health. He has been caught on video admitting that if a baby is born alive during an abortion, he simply lets the baby die.
